It was much closer to what I had in Melbourne Australia where a LOT of Malaysians emigrated to. None of the other places I have tried in the US compared. We also ordered the spicy noodle dish with seafood. Lots of protein which was very helpful as we are both trying to have more protein and less carbs. (Doggone Rice and Noodles!!) We were very pleased with what we ate and of course our phenomenal service. The mocktails were great. No dessert because we were too full. I'm coming back for the crab. I wasn't dressed for messy food so I skipped it this time. Thanks for a lovely dinner, Straits!!! I'll bring my Aussie partner and make sure he is hungry. I'm sorry, I put my phone away because we were having a special day for my bday. But I will never forget what a nice meal I had at Straits.

The chicken wings were incredible - albeit a little expensive for what we get - but we thoroughly enjoyed it. I ordered the bone marrow entree and it came with cubed filet mignon, lots of bread, and a salad. I thought this was quite good for the value and I had a leftovers for the next day. The Laksa Noodle Soup was also very filling and bright in the flavor.

We met up with friends to celebrate belated birthday. A nice outdoor patio with abundant seating. As you enter into the entrance, you are promptly greeted by the host/manager. The ambience is nice and elegant. The service was nice, but unfortunately, it started off bad as our server didn't know our table was in her section. We waited about 15-20 minutes before we flagged another waiter down to see if he could take our order or send our server to our table. Turmeric Roasted Cauliflower: labneh, honey, orange suprêmes, mint (5/5). This was to die for! OMG. So flavorful and roasted perfection. Roasted Beet And Walnut Salad: red and gold beets, labneh, walnut salsa verde, sherry vinaigrette (4/5). Spiced Lamb Flatbread: yogurt, sumac onions, spicy zhoug , oven roasted tomato, sprouts (4/5). Pomegranate Glazed Salmon: cauliflower purée, shaved root vegetables, pomegranate relish (5/5). This was delicious! Mediterranean Branzino -"A La Plancha": spicy zhoug , lemon garlic tzatziki (4/5). Icecream with Dubai Chocolate - chocolate, rosewater, and another flavor. This was so delicious! Everything was very good! We will be back! Support your local business.

Their flat breads are also very good, even though a but small, both the lamb and mushroom are really good. The potatoes were a nice little side dish, and their half chicken za'atar was still a huge portion. Will definitely will want to be back and try out their other dishes! Service was amazing! And store was nice and well decorated.

I personally love their mango mojito and the steak here is great for the price! Service is good, can be chill during weekdays and non-peak hours on weekends but typically there's a long wait and it can get loud. I have had better experience with places with much shorter list, but better curated. The bad: - the beer recommendation were not to my linking. - the waiter was nice, but not an expert. Didn't know about the food, beers nor drinks deeply. Knew how to process order and communicate, knew how to be fast, but not a beer drinker that knows the stuff. - I asked the waiter about food and they didn't know anything about them. Was nice to go to kitchen to check and gave correct answer, but I would have expected the waiter to know. The ugly: - some other guy took the beer to the table, but spilled the beer on me and the table, said sorry, but didn't clean up. I asked from our waiter to clean up the spill, but got just paper napinks and clean up myself. - we ordered Old Fashion. The waiter didn't know how to describe them. But the WORST was the Old Fashion it self. It was watered down. It was literally wishky in water. - basically, seems the vast selection and quick turn over just makes the waiters not know the details. They try to server for all, but lack the personality and quality. Was not impressed with the amount of selections. I would be impressed with quality.

The ambiance is beautiful and welcoming, and your team truly sets the tone -- friendly, attentive, and genuinely warm. It makes such a difference and keeps us coming back. We've always enjoyed the food -- I especially love the pan-roasted chicken, it's just lovely. And every time I have the burger, it takes me right back to France, where I lived for over 17 years in the south. That kind of authenticity is hard to find and so appreciated. What makes it even more special is that my husband occasionally gets to converse in French with some of your staff -- which he absolutely loves. It adds such a personal and authentic touch to the experience. For our wedding anniversary last year, your staff really went above and beyond to take care of us. We had such a wonderful night, and it's a memory we truly cherish. This is one of those places we feel confident recommending to anyone. Thank you for consistently making us feel so welcome -- we'll definitely be back again and again.

The regular menu is also very limited, so I went for the cheeseburger. My Left Bank Cheeseburger was overcooked, smothered in arugula, and the top bun was almost too hard to bite. My partner had the lemon linguini which was much too rich and saucy. Also, the outdoor seating was in between two live musicians that night, which is no fault of the restaurant, but took away from the experience. The service was fine, however, and attentive enough.
