I love it here! I've tried primal cuts, shoots, Kara hand roll bar, and krapow and everything has been delicious. We recently had some friends meet us here to watch the dodger game and it's such a great spot because of all the food options and really big bar. I definitely recommend this spot when in Whittier. Checked this place out on a Sunday Funday date and was NOT disappointed. They have a decent variety of foods, the energy was "giving" as the hipsters say, and the wait times were not bad at all considering how busy it was. Our first stop was not pleasant. We decided to first stop at Capo California Bar and checkout their drink and food menu. We made the terrible mistake of sitting at the bar instead of just simply waiting in line. The bartender, whose name we didn't get completely ignored us. We waited for about 15 mins as we saw him serve other customers who would just go up to the bar. We tried all the tricks, even did the stare down and not even that got him to help us. Even after he did acknowledge us. Luckily, we waived down another gentleman with a hat who gave us our drinks. I did expect some sort of decor or tajin on my rim but I was just happy to have a drink. Would NOT return if the same bartender is there. We were also not able to order food because their kitchen is ran by Chow by Primal which was closed early. BUMMER! We didn't want to continue being disappointed, so we ventured out to Karai Hand Roll x Ramen. The service was excellent! They were very attentive and our hand rolls were served one after the other. We shared the Toro, scallop, blue crab, yellowtail, and salmon rolls. They all tasted fresh and delicious. Our favorite is the blue crab which we will be returning for. I would rate this place 10/10 For dessert we flipped a coin and tried Double 3. I normally only take a bite or two when it comes to sweets but I ate half of this waffle cone. I went a bit basic on my toppings given that I'm not much of a sweets person, but it was the perfect amount of sweetness! Whether you're grabbing a quick bite or settling in with friends or family, the space is thoughtfully designed--plenty of indoor and outdoor seating (a major plus!), soaring and spacious high ceilings, and communal areas that are both kid- and family-friendly. There's even a sleek, wrap around bar area with a massive TV that's perfect for catching the game. My personal favorites? Primal Kitchen serves up a killer juicy steak with a tangy cowboy butter, Blue Bowl is a classic and hits the spot with refreshing acai bowls (gotta try the blue spirulina cashew butter!), and Capo nails the cocktail scene with expertly curated saloon-style cocktails and mocktails (collab with Ferm Farm). We got food from Shoots & Primal Cuts. Hit & miss with both. Chicken sandwich from Shoots was nearly raw inside. Got a replacement on the house. Smash burgers from Primal Cuts were burnt to a crisp. But again, I will bet the quality will increase as the crowds die down. Music is LOUD. Parking? Uber or Lyft here because you're gonna walk 1/4-1/2 a mile minimum to your car, if you can find parking. Bar is nice. Saw it from a distance cuz you'd think Snoop Dogg was bartending with how packed it is. It's a nice looking place overall. read more

I visited on a Saturday and was able to find parking fairly quick. There's live music and events. There's several food vendors selling different types of food. It was a food hall, self seating. Little interaction with employees. Like other reviews mentioned, there's a small fly problem. Good spot to go with your friends if they can't decide what they want to eat. read more

New, Modern, Exciting, and Fun food hall! If you're from the LA/OC area- think Anaheim Packing House! This is the opening week, so of course this place is buzzing and full of life. Everything is clean and the service is great. As with all new spots, I'm interested to see how it will age. There are 14 different eateries/drink/dessert businesses. Today we tried Eggbred and Kazan- Boba + Tea. These businesses are in the front of the market and honestly, had the shortest lines. For our first time, we went with convenience due to the crowds. The vibes? Great. The food? Excellent. BUT expensive. $12 for 3 tacos? Be prepared to spend a lot of money on food. There is not enough seating when it is busy and parking in this area is a nightmare. Do not bother trying to get a spot close by, you are better off parking across the street by Dennys or all the way by Stater Bros. For me, this is terrible in the summer, as I have a medical condition that makes me very intolerant towards heat. Having to walk across a black asphalt parking lot in 90 degrees was not fun. Another strike against this place is that it is not very accessible to wheelchair users. There is decent space inside between the stands, but they are so crowded with strollers, I would be wary of having enough space to maneuver. It is compounded by the lack of seating. The variety inside is good, there's something for everyone. There is just not much space to sit if you have more than 2 people with you. I have been to other food halls that are much larger, such as Anaheim Packing District. For me personally, this was underwhelming and I am not impressed. Based on social media I really thought this place had more options but they from what they do have they do carry different options. It also isn't as big as I thought. The outdoor scenery is a nice area to relax on a beautiful sunny day. Highlight is they do have TVs to catch a game. We sat at the bar service was great and drinks were up to par. The bar also carries a food menu from the steak vendor located right next to them so we ordered the fried pickles to try. These were salty and just not it. Went here for the first time tonight! It was awesome the ambiance and Vibes make you feel like you're at the beach or in Hawaii! The outdoor seating is so nice and beautiful, there is a huge bar, and you can drink outside on the patio. We went on a Saturday and there was various live entertainment events happening, bands, guitarists and even Polynesian Dancers! The food mall had soooo many options, too! We ate small bites at 3 different food venues and everything we had was delicious! We loved it so much and can't believe we stumbled onto this gem just a few minutes from our house! This is the next new place to eat in Whittier! When this place first opened, it was a madhouse so we didn't bother trying anything. Now, it got a little better with the crowd so we been able to try the tacos, boba tea, and some of the other places here. It's nice to see Whittier open one of these food courts. Seems like it's been the popular thing to do lately in other cities too. The only thing I don't like about this place is the parking. With the plaza across the way, the new apartments and houses close by, it's always a nightmare trying to park. Try to get here early or when it's less empty on the weekday. read more

As a dog owner, I am particularly liking the dog friendly outdoor dining spaces. I can see this food hall appealing to all generations. There are food choices for everyone, many of which are new to Whittier. The prices are consistent with more upscale casual food, which was not surprising. You can get a meal with a drink for roughly $20. Most stalls open at 11, except for Eggbred, which I heard opens at 7. Parking is going to be a challenge on weekends. So plan accordingly. Such a beautiful addition to the city of Whittier! The structure in itself is breathtaking and the whole lot is lively and clean. Rodeo 72 features so many great eats, from acai bowls at Blue Bowl, a brewery at Capo, and even steaks at Primal Cuts. The building itself is very spacious and well kept, however it does fill up super quickly when it gets busy (especially on the weekends). The parking lot is a bit small for the crowd, but you can always park over by the supermarket and get your steps in! My favorite spots so far have been Krapow (thai), Primal Cuts (steaks), and Karai (handrolls and ramen)! Super solid choices that you won't be disappointed by. For desserts, I REALLY love the dubai chocolate strawberries and churros from Las Chelaguas. I haven't had the chance to try any of the other spots, but I'm sure they're all great as well! read more

I came on Sunday night, and the live music by the bar area was so loud that I had to lean in over the counter just to yell my food order at the cashier, even doing so, she still couldn't hear me properly.
