Rococo Ramen - So yummy - Ramen Near Me - Granada Hills, California

Family and I loved this ramen spot! The food was delicious, and everyone was incredibly kind and accommodating. The chefs and waitresses were so friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. We also loved the macaroons--especially the raspberry and Thai tea flavors. We were really hoping to try the chocolate and coconut ones too, but they hadn't gotten their shipment in yet. Still, everything we tried was most definitely delicious. We'll definitely be back this weekend! read more

I went here on a whim and thoroughly enjoyed my meal. I had tofu as my protein and it was seasoned so well I asked for extra!

Food was to die for! The meat was so tender and the service is absolutely amazing, everyone is so attentive! Also the setting of the place is so small and cute! Definitely recommend!! read more

This was our first time visiting. We ordered out. The service was good. Our hostess was kind. The food was bomb. I would recommend that the spicy ramen be more spicy. I ordered a level 5, and it was only mildly spicy. The restaurant was giving cozy. When I return, I will dine-in. Also, I recommend the macaroon gelato ice cream sandwiches for dessert. Yum! read more

Super overrated. I heard really good things about this place and after finally trying, it missed the mark. My ramen came with two small pieces of pork and tiny tiny portions of the rest of the toppings. I got spice level 2/5 thinking it would be a little bit of kick and it was so spicy I didnt manage to finish the broth. Not to mention the broth didnt have much flavor besides spice. read more

I used to really enjoy coming to this ramen shop--it was one of my favorite places to eat for the past three years. However, the quality has really gone downhill recently, and it's been disappointing. I always order the pork tonkotsu ramen, which used to be amazing. The pork was pan-fried, crispy, and just like the pictures on the menu. But now, the pork is bland-looking, not pan-fried at all, and sometimes even served cold. I've tried asking the waitstaff if they could pan-fry it more, but every time they say no or seem to have an issue with my request saying it's not possible?!!! To make matters worse, the price has gone up to $18 per bowl. For that price, I expect better quality and for them to honor a simple request. If the menu pictures show crispy pan-fried pork, that's what I expect to be served. Unfortunately, I don't think I'll be coming back unless they make some serious improvements. It's a shame because this place used to be so good. read more

The ramen noodles served to perfection . I get the vegan ramen delivered to my home with an added egg and avocado.

My sister and I just discovered this ramen place that is near me and we loved the ramen and their chasu rice bowl. But, unfortunately as we got check we noticed the prices were a little off and when we asked the waitress about it she said it was a percentage fee if we paid with a credit card but if we paid cash/debit then the prices would go down. I really didn't like that they didnt disclose any of that information beforehand as most restaurants do. Unfortunately, we wont be back because of that read more

the spicy tonkostu ramen! SO GOOD. Level 2 is where i cap it. I cant take the heat further lol. I have been going here since its opening. I have tried several ramen spots here in the valley and I can honestly say there is no competition when it comes to Rococo. I love their ramen so much its just so perfect and they give you a good serving I'm so full after eating here. I usually do take out but I have eaten here before, service was a little slow for eating there but I can understand due to there was only 2 waiters. I never have trouble finding parking here I usually park near the dentist I always find a spot there. read more

The selections are numerous. Very flavorful, ranging from not so spicy & for my fellow anti-spicers (I keep trying, though my taste buds keep declining it!). Loved their Ramen options. The broth warms your bones like a warm coat. The squid balls. Savory, light and flavorful. Looking forward to returning over the summer. read more

Food is 4 stars. Ramen is good but nothing to write home about. Service on the other hand was not good -- knocking off at least one star for that. read more

We had Spicey Level 2 Tonkatsu and Takoyaki balls. We enjoyed the Takoyaki, but the ramen was mediocre. The spicy chile oil they use is sesame oil based, so that was the prominent flavor. The service was just ok. Hoodies and too much phone time. The seating layout is just strange and the hallway to the BR was also the storage area. The music was not child friendly and too loud. Overall the place looked relatively clean, but disheveled. read more

this is yummy ramen. i enjoyed eating here the service was nice and it felt very cozy

Hands down the best ramen I've ever had. The staff is always so friendly. I only order take out but it never disappoints. A valley gem.

A friend suggested this place for her birthday meal and she got the mild chicken ramen and I had the spicy pork. Noodles were made with perfect chewy consistency. The broth was amazing and the pork tender. read more

This is my favorite neighborhood ramen place. The ramen's consistently delicious and the staff are always friendly & accommodating. I usually get the spicy tonkatsu (sub fried tofu), level 3-4 but last night I wanted to have a taste of their spicy miso broth (new on their menu), so I'll know if I like it for next time. Not only was I denied, I could hear the owner rudely tell his staff "they don't do that!" Anyway, a little more kindness on his part, even in the rejection, would've gone a long way. I'll probably go back, eventually... or maybe not, if I find a better ramen place. read more

Very clean, I liked their service. Their ramen is so so good I try recommending this place as much as I can cause it's that's good

My favorite ramen spot in the San Fernando Valley! Hands down it's so good. My favorite is spicy tonkotsu. Decadent and flavorful broth, the best chachu and great noodles. Can't miss! The pork buns and karage are really good appetizers. Parking is available though it's a busy shopping center. The location is small so when their peak periods hit, the wait time can be very long but I've stayed waiting, which tells you how good it is. Have brought many friends and family here and they have all left satisfied with the experience. Will be coming for more ramen. read more

Such a gem in the valley. Great location and spacious layout for the actual size inside. Service was speedy and kind. The crispy rice spicy tuna was very yummy, but in my opinion, wasn't spicy enough!! Had to dip it in spicy Mayo and top off with sriracha. The broth was packed with flavor and creamy. The noodles were filling! Next time might try a different meat, though. Highly recommend you try this spot! read more

(2/21/2023) The weather was so cold and my mom happened to be in town so I took her here for the first time. I got my usual order spicy tonkotsu ramen and my mom had shoyu ramen. Both of our ramen were really salty, saltier than any times I ever had the ramen from here so we were quite disappointed because I was hyping up about the place on our way there :'( They still are the only ramen restaurant I go to in the valley so J hope next time would be better. read more

i had the vegan ramen: the highlight is definitely the fried tofu, it was crispy and seasoned well! i enjoyed the veggie toppings, and the noodles were perfect! i wish the broth was creamier, it was more water-based, but i got it spice level 5 and it was decently spicy! i also enjoyed the milk tea :) parking was easy to find, wish the seating situation was better though. seats weren't very comfortable and mostly bar seating was available. overall, the price (~$18) was pretty steep for a bowl of ramen, not sure if i'll come again. read more

I entered this establishment and was rudely greeted once I was about to get seated I asked if I could have a larger table the "2 person table" is so small I was going to purchase 2 ramens and pork buns and appetizers so a small table would be cramped most tables were empty there was a large table with a couple and a very small infant in a stroller I asked the male server if we can sit at the larger table he said no I asked why he said it's reserved for larger dining groups I said that table has 2 people and a newborn he said that newborn is a human I won't argue with that but the infant isn't eating more than we are! I walked out they have lost a long time customer did to the very rude and unprofessional attitude read more

It was my first time trying this place out based on a friend's recommendation. If you go through my check-ins and reviews you'll notice I love ramen. Rococo has been in my neck of the woods for a fee years now but I never really tried it out. Today I decided to try their Spicy Tonkotsu Ramen ($12.95). I was pleasantly surprised by the flavor of their broth. It was thick, creamy and had this unique nutty taste that I've never tasted in tonkotsu broth before. I mentioned to my friend that I thought it was a bit reminiscent of peanut butter and she said she couldn't untaste it after I said it. I called to make sure they didn't use peanut in the broth for my loved ones with peanut allergies. I'm assuming it's thanks to some sort of sesame paste or something similar. I was a big fan, the broth itself had complexity that I haven't found elsewhere. Tasted nontraditional, but still delicious. Rococo also uses thinner noodles than you'd find at most ramen shops. I liked the texture personally but I also found that I ate through the noodles quite quickly because of this. The chashu was delicious, it honestly tasted a little bit more like fried pork belly vs the usual braised/broiled chashu at most places but it still melts in your mouth like a dream. Lastly, the reason I took off a star. For the price of the ramen at Rococo I really wish they had more toppings. The price is not too different from ramen you would get at say Jinya or Tatsu but the portion is much smaller with hardly any toppings you don't really even notice they're there. I would come back again if I had to pick a spot within the area because they do produce quality ramen here, but if I had some more time and gas money (lol) I'd make the drive out to another ramen spot for bigger portions for the same price. read more

Such a delicious little hole in the wall restaurant! So happy I stumbled upon this cute little place. Don't let the plaza fool you, even if it's located in a very awkward spot on a busy street, be sure to stop by here if you can! Lots of free parking outside so it shouldn't be a problem This is a very good ramen joint and definitely does hit the spot. I would say it is not as delicious and scrumptious as some places that I have been to deeper in downtown la, but I would say that Rococo is delicious for a valley pick/if you're in the SFV area and need that ramen fix! They have a lot of different flavors to choose from, as well as different types of chase bowls and other delicious sides like bao buns too! I hightly recommend the spicy tonkatsu ramen. You can choose your level of spice and I think level 1 is perfectly enjoyable without engulfing 100 cups of water, definitely try it out if you're looking for a good kick! read more
