On the weekend, we waited about 15 minutes for a table, which wasn't bad at all. During the weekday, we were seated immediately. The star of the meal is undoubtedly the famous crepe-style hotcakes. They're thin, buttery, lightly crisp around the edges, and absolutely to die for. Pair them with the Lyonnaise-style potatoes, and you've got one of the best brunch combinations around. The service was quick and friendly both times, our coffee cups never stayed empty thanks to the free refills, and the food came out surprisingly fast despite how busy it was. The decor has that classic all-American diner charm, simple, nostalgic, and full of character. If you're visiting Pittsburgh, Pamela's is absolutely worth adding to your brunch list. We'll definitely be back.

They're incredibly thin, almost like crepes, and wrapped around a delicious strawberry filling. They're unlike anything we've had anywhere else. The Lyonnaise potatoes are another favorite. I had mentioned a nearby diner to a fan I met at the game the night before and he scoffed at me and told me all about DeLuca's. He was passionate about the hot sausage and the griddle toasted Italian bread and I knew we would give it a shot! Turns out, he was absolutely right! DeLuca's is exactly what I'm looking for in a diner! Old school place, seating was comfortable, and our waitress made us feel right at home! I went with the Steel City and that included everything! Pancakes (which our lovely waitress added complimentary bananas to), hot sausage, bacon, home fries, eggs, and Italian bread toast. Everything was cooked perfectly! Hot sausage and eggs made a perfect sandwich on that bread! My wife had a delicious omelette. Such a wonderful send off from Pittsburgh!

Defo overhyped but I can see why people who don't like trying new spots would say it's their favorite Would absolutely recommend this to anyone visiting who doesn't want to drive far for breakfast at all and stay in the city Pancake was just solid. 7/10 Chicken and waffles were surprisingly great 8/10 The biscuits and gravy ehh. 6/10 TON of seating. Staff are very yinzer so a good experience for that for sure if you want that. Friendly

The inside is well-worn, with vintage Steelers memorabilia on the walls, taped-up chairs, and that classic neighborhood "dive diner" feel that has probably looked the same for years. What makes this place stand out is the food. Don is clearly a talented cook. The pancakes were light, fluffy, and absolutely delicious. Our favorite was the homemade home fries with onions and green peppers--they were perfectly cooked, full of flavor, and some of the best we've had. The servers were incredibly sweet and made us feel welcome from the moment we walked in. If you're looking for a polished, upscale restaurant, this isn't it. But if you love authentic neighborhood diners where the food is homemade, the portions are generous, and the people are kind, this place is definitely worth a visit. We'll absolutely be back!
