Orange Skies is awesome. Full stop. What an incredible experience!…read more While I didn't jump (too chicken!), I took my son for his first free fall here. The minute I saw the facilities and met the people, my anxiety all but dissipated. Everyone is so friendly, knowledgeable, and laser-focused on safety. Mike, the founder, runs a tight ship which is very much appreciated. The building itself is immaculate and all of the gear is meticulously well organized. Preston and Luke were AMAZING! I felt instantly at ease with them, not to mention, they're a lot of fun! If you can, definitely splurge on the video add-on. It's a wonderful souvenir--worth every penny!

My friends and I got the ultimate video package and it was well worth it and I would highly recommend spending the money for it because it includes these amazing pictures and videos of your jump! My jumper and my videographer were 10/10 so comforting and kept the energy super high! I never felt that wave of being nervous because they kept me in the loop on everything and kept me in my excitement zone! I will recommend this place 100 times over! It was such a blast and I felt safe the entire journey! I love that my friends and I found this place to cross this awesome experience off our bucket list! If you're on the fence just do it!!!

The staff member who guided our "flight" aka "sky diving" tailored the event to each person's requests. I believe the oldest person in our group was 80 years old and every single one of us had a great time and a great experience. This is completely safe and fun. There are different levels also so if you become experienced at one level, and you're comfortable, you can move up to another level.

Kids and husband were super excited, and I was very nervous (heights and thrills aren't really my thing, but the rest of the family loves them). We got a family package that allowed all 4 of us to have 2 flights each, and then I added on "high flights" (where you get to go up ~15-20 feet ) and videos/photos of the experience. You have to wear a full suit, helmet, glasses, and ear plugs. So don't go all dressed up or anything. And I HIGHLY recommend putting your hair in a bun if it's long. Mine was a rat's next afterwards from a small ponytail, but my daughter's braid did awesome. The experience definitely made me nervous, but I'm so glad I did it. It ended up being a lot of fun. My husband liked it, but had a harder time maneuvering (he's 6'1" so the coach had a harder time moving him). My kids fell in love with the experience and would probably do it all the time.

But Austin was our fearless rafting guide and part-time therapist--who calmed nerves, cracked jokes, and got us paddling in no time. From the very first splash, Austin made us feel safe and slightly more athletic than we actually are. He coached us through the twists and turns of the creek, and somehow convinced our teens that getting absolutely drenched and paddling for their lives was the best day ever. Miracles do exist. We glided through hidden stretches of the creek like pros (or at least like enthusiastic amateurs with great lighting), hollering with joy and soaking up every second of the adventure. Even the "hold on tight!" moments felt like a ride at a theme park--but with better views and less screaming. 10/10 would paddle again. If you're looking for an unforgettable family outing full of laughter, nature, and just the right amount of "we might flip but only if you don't do what Austin says", he's your guide. He's part guide, part hype man, and all-around river legend. Bring snacks or a picnic lunch for after an early morning trip, bring sunscreen (and put it on BEFORE you get a wetsuit. Rent shoes when you check-in ($5/person). Your family will thank you for this adventure (once they stop laughing and wringing out their socks).
