There are a ton of slides and they are a blast! It's so big that we didn't get to everything despite trying hard to do so. There is excellent variety. My favorite was Lost River of the Pharaohs. The one big thing that I really disliked is the "Tube Valet" system. Specifically, the way this park allows guests who spend more to skip the lines. I can definitely see how paying more to not have to carry a tube is good for accessibility, but the skipping the lines component is just greedy and it makes the experience worse for everyone else. It creates a class system within the park and I deeply resent it. In fact, there are certain slides I won't bother with again if I come back as the lines are already slow and "Tube Valet" kills my interest as I don't want to spend all day in line. Those rides are Mile High Flyer and Revolution. They were fun, but it doesn't matter when you spend so long in line that you ultimately miss riding other things. The "Tube Valet" alone prevented this place from getting 5 stars. It's gross. Keep in mind that we came during the day on a weekday in the hopes of lines being less awful. If I visit again, I will do a few things differently. 1. I will pack nearly nothing so I don't have to pay for a locker (they are pricey at $16 - $21 depending on size). The exception would be if coming with a group large enough that a public space could be secured with a non-swimmer. If I were part of such a group, I would pack a cooler (following cooler size limitations on the website) as well as a few other small items like sunblock. 2. I will not ride Revolution or Mile High Flyer 3. I will eat either before or after to avoid paying in park (or do the group with a cooler method). 4. I will apply lots of sunblock before entering the park so I do not have to carry it in. Overall worth a visit, but consider the limitations inflicted by "Tube Valet."

The interiors are very in line with the natural landscapes. We got a beautiful mountain facing room on the 15th floor. It was the highlight of my trip!! They had room service everyday. Besides offering a plethora of choices for nice restaurants and bars, they have a really cool temperature controlled indoor and outdoor pool with a lazy river and multiple hot tubs for soaking. The relache spa is located right next to The fitness center overlooking the pool. The spa is a MUST!!! I learned during my stay that if you are a gold or above status with Marriott, you have free access to the spa amenities without having to actually book an appointment. The amenities include a steam room, cold plunge shower and a relaxing lounge area within the spa. It was my second trip to this property, a lot has been updated since my 1st. Can't wait to be back.

Bed Bug PSA: I…read morewanted to put this PSA out there for anyone staying at Gaylord Rockies. My family and I started our mini summer vacay there on Saturday May 30 and we woke up to bed bugs in our room Sunday morning. I have been a loyal Marriott member, so I scooped up the bug in a cup with water, brought it to the front desk and assumed since the rooms are over $500 a night that we would be taken care of and treated with dignity and respect. We were not. The manager (Alex) refused to speak to me twice and sent the security manager (Antwan) to deal with me instead. He essentially said I can't be sure it was a bed bug but that he was sure it was a tick from my dog. When I asked for the bug back to consult a pest control professional he lied and said it was sent to their engineer to give to their ecolab team. When I asked them to bring up the engineer and asked him for the bug he was honest and up front that management would not provide it to him. The security manager then had to admit that the disposed of the live bed bug I gave to them. So I brought up a dead one that was on the desk in our room and he crumpled it up in the paper I provided, turned it to dust, and then put the paper and dead bug remains in his pocket. We obviously cut our stay short and left the same day, but I know not everyone has that option. So for any of you staying, please do not make the same mistake I made in trusting the Marriott name. If you find a bed bug, follow these instructions and DO NOT SURRENDER YOUR PROOF BECAUSE THEY WILL DESTROY IT: You are legally entitled to a full refund if a hotel room has bed bugs. Because hotels are required to maintain basic hygiene, most properties will refund your stay rather than risk a bad review, a lawsuit, or a health department investigation. The most effective way to secure a refund and protect yourself involves taking a few critical steps: 1. Gather Immediate Evidence Before moving or unpacking, take clear, well-lit photos and videos of the bugs, your bites, and the mattress seams. If possible, trap a specimen in a sealed bag or container. Without clear proof, staff may mistakenly attribute your bites to mosquitoes or other insects. 2. Secure Your Luggage Bed bugs can easily travel home in your suitcases. Move your bags away from the bed and upholstered furniture, and seal anything that was exposed in plastic bags. 3. Demand a Refund and Relocation Notify management, present your evidence, and demand an immediate, full refund for your room. Request to be moved to a clean room, but do not assume a neighboring room is entirely safe, as infestations often spread. 4. Escalate to Corporate or Dispute the Charge If the local hotel management refuses to issue a refund, contact the corporate customer service line.

I had to physically call to add more than one person to my household. More of an inconvenience but not straight forward to know to do that..so heads up! But we were able to bring a cooler with lunch and drinks! The concessions were affordable though! They have plenty of play space for all ages! Lazy river and slides for the adventure enthusiasts! And 2 big adult pools as well! They also have "adult nights" which looks like a fun date night or hangout time with friends! They do have cabanas that you can rent.. I didn't feel like we needed one.. but maybe on a busy day you might. It was clean and staff were readily available and friendly! We will definitely be back!

There were lots of lifeguards at each pool that all looked attentive. We rented one of the luxury loungers and it was a great addition to the day. The loungers were spacious, offered shade, and had comfier loungers than the ones offered first come, first serve. When we arrived around 10:45am on a weekday almost all of the first come, first serve chairs were taken, so we were happy we had reserved ones. There are also cabanas to rent. What knocks a star off for this review is how crowded it was. It's definitely expected that there'll be a lot of people in summer when school's out, but there were a ton of people crammed into the pools and lazy river.

The only area where she could *actually* swim had a giant fan blowing down from the ceiling...we were both shivering within 10 minutes. The pool area looks massive, but the actual space for a kid to swim is tiny. SO much wasted space. The playground are is great for toddlers, but beyond that it's a huge disappointment. Why is there a huge fan blowing down onto the pool on a cold, rainy day?? The pool water temps were miserably cold which means the hot tubs were overrun with people who were camped out in them. We couldn't even dip a toe in the hot tub because they were 'full'. There were also crowds of completely unsupervised kids everywhere we turned. The whole 'adult supervision for kids under 10' is an absolute JOKE. After being pushed, kicked, shoved, jumped on for 30 minutes, we cut our losses and left. Will absolutely not be back.

They have a lap pool and they also have a warmer pool that includes a lazy river and a couple of lap lanes, along with the children's play area. We were there on a weekday afternoon well swim lessons were going on, but had plenty of space to use one lap lane and the lazy river. They have a set of steps to enter by the lazy river and they have a chairlift that enters into one of the lanes. There's also a hot tub that has steps with a rail to get in. In the family locker room there are two accessible changing rooms with a bathroom and shower, including a shower bench and adjustable showerhead. They have an automatic door opener, which is phenomenal, however, the lock is up pretty high, which makes it less accessible for wheelchair users, and short people. there are two other changing rooms in the family locker space that don't have the automatic button, adjustable showerhead, or shower bench, or grab bars on the toilet, but are still fairly large and have space for a wheelchair user There was plenty of accessible parking and automatic doors to get into the building. The space exiting was pretty tight due to how they have the chairs arranged, somebody with a larger wheelchair may have to exit through the entry lane. We also used the steam room, there was no automatic door, but the door wasn't terribly heavy.
