The staff were so accommodating. We had a large group of senior citizens and they made sure to maintain safety for everybody and everybody had a great time. The staff member who guided our "flight" aka "sky diving" tailored the event to each person's requests. I believe the oldest person in our group was 80 years old and every single one of us had a great time and a great experience. This is completely safe and fun. I like to come up with fun experiences for my husband for Father's Day, and this was my latest pick. Kids and husband were super excited, and I was very nervous (heights and thrills aren't really my thing, but the rest of the family loves them). We got a family package that allowed all 4 of us to have 2 flights each, and then I added on "high flights" (where you get to go up ~15-20 feet ) and videos/photos of the experience. You have to wear a full suit, helmet, glasses, and ear plugs. So don't go all dressed up or anything. And I HIGHLY recommend putting your hair in a bun if it's long. Mine was a rat's next afterwards from a small ponytail, but my daughter's braid did awesome. The experience definitely made me nervous, but I'm so glad I did it. It ended up being a lot of fun. My husband liked it, but had a harder time maneuvering (he's 6'1" so the coach had a harder time moving him). Took my girl scouts to Ifly back in May as a bridging event. It was a prelude to next year when they plan to outdoor skydive. It was easy to book with ifly. I was able to do it quickly online with no issues. Clearly laid out website with lots of options for times. Got plenty of reminder communication prior to our event (fly day!) Staff was friendly. Sign the waivers online beforehand to save time when you get there ;) The environment was comfortable and inviting. Everyone was very excited for the experience. You will watch a video beforehand that will go over safety and what to expect and then your instructor for the day will go over any questions and help get you ready. The girls all had an amazing experience!! The only reasons for 4 stars were as follows : 1. price - wow! its expensive considering how much time you get to actually do this. But this was a one time experience for most of these girls so it was worth it but not something would just be able to go do outside of for a special occasion. 2. we had our group of scouts and then we got put with 1 random person, which was kind of a bummer because this was a special event for the girls. read more

I paid 867.00 for 23 flights and media. This was sold to me as the best way for the birthday girl to get her 4 flight times that she wanted for her birthday. I was informed when we got there that IF we had 23 people then those 23 people would get to fly but there was only going to be 1 flight per person and we would have to pay extra for those high flights. REDICULOUS! So everyone took turns floating in the wind tunnel till our time was up! It's 23 floats not flights. Only 1 flight per participant! It was a complete rip off! read more

We had a lot of fun here at iFly. We had someone with our group who is paraplegic and so we were at one point very concerned about whether she would be able to accommodate us. Especially since I called iFly's number and left a voicemail months before our event and no one ever returned my call. Then someone on the phone finally picked up when one of us called and told her that they "might" be able to accommodate us depending on the instructors. So we were left with that uncertainty until we travelled to Colorado to be with our friends (we were only there for a weekend). I wish they had been responsive to begin with about this. But as soon as we got there, the staff told us that they could "of course" accommodate someone with disabilities. We filled out our waiver releases in the computer before we got there but we basically had to go over our releases and "check in" once we got there (so we basically had to do it again which was kind of annoying). We had an amazing instructor named Rich if I remember correctly m. We sat around waiting for our class for like 30-45 min and watched others doing their flying then went through the short class everyone has to take before they fly, which was like 20 min (there we learned safety stuff and signals to relax, straighten our legs or bend our legs, etc). He cracked a lot of dad jokes and was very family-friendly. We then put our stuff in the complimentary lockers and put our body suits on (they look like space suits). Then we were off. We had a group of 7 and flew with 3 others we did not know. The only difference with a paraplegic is that she comes in with two folks instead of one. They were very professional and helpful throughout the whole process. I highly recommend the extra $10 to fly up and down -- it's the most fun part of flying! The flying part where you are at the bottom isn't as fun bc although they try to allow you to fly by yourself, the particular form you have to be in can make it difficult for you to actually move up (in fact some people kept hitting the walls or the floor bc of their form). We were disappointed that basically the flying starts on the second floor and so you don't really go up fast as you would guess bc you're already high up when you start. But it's still a neat experience and that's why I bought the special offer for 10 more min of flying for $99 (good for up to 5 people) at the end of our flights. It was a fun experience! So fun that my sister with paraplegia was emboldened to go skydiving afterwards... haha. Also a healthful tip is that their pictures and videos are not that great since if you do the additional $10 up and down flying they don't film that so have someone outside of the flying party film you instead! read more

The next 3 times have been with my family and friends. Excellent way to create special memories together. We all felt very safe and our instructor was awesome. I'm in a wheelchair use who decided to put my big girl pants on and try indoor skydiving. I signed the waivers which could be done online prior to getting there and of course it was full of scary stuff like risk of injury or even death. And with paralysis you never know but I figured that it could not have been too crazy since it's indoor and with a skilled instructor. Really low risk. We checked in about 30 min before our appointment. The staff were nice with the whole process especially with my paralysis. They notified the instructor of my needs and he knew the plan and trained me on what to do. We watched other people do it for a while. Then we went to a separate room to be trained. Then we changed and put our stuff in lockers. The experience is a bit more hands on and different for me. Where most people are going into the tunnel and just free falling into the tunnel, I was carried from my chair by another instructor and handed to the main instructor. This is where the magic began. I loved feeling the air in my hair, simulating a real outdoor sky dive. It was so unreal and fun. The instructor kept me safe the whole time. I couldn't stop smile. And he was so positive and got me excited to try tandem outdoor skydiving!! read more

We had the best experience at IFLY today! We have a blind child who is on spring break. Since today was going to be snowy and cold we looked for a new adventure close to home. We choose to try Indoor skydiving for the first time. As a parent of a blind child, we want him to experience every and anything that he can in life. We were immediately reassured by the front desk staff that they have worked with blind people. We got the best instructor Khai! He took extra time to show our child body positions and show him around the fly zone with the wind off so that he had spatial awareness. Khai hadn't worked with a blind child before but somehow he intuitively knew what would help our kid be safe and successful! We are definitely coming back and specifically asking for Khai! He is probably about to teach a bunch more blind people in his future!!!!!! read more

Hmmm.... I like it. I like this kind of indoor sports, though I cannot deny I would love to do the real thing, tandem sky-diving or even base jumping since those are part of my Bucket Life List. That recent visit was on Saturday November 23rd 2013. One week earlier, I went to this establishment, just to make sure I can get on the list since I don't fancy talking on the phone etc etc. Wanted to do on that day, but it was fully booked. So RESERVATION IS DEFINITELY NECESSARY. I purchased the "additional" $40 + $2.73(with tax), pictures and video that they will save it for you in a little thumb drive. Thankfully I managed to get on the 08:45hrs list for the session (November 23rd 2013). My assigned instructor his name is Nathan. I have a Gift Certificate my friends purchased for my "previous" birthday aka last years, I finally managed to use it. Watch the "Safety and Introductory" Video in the room that they provide, all by myself accompanied by Hubs coz my session was the 1st that morning. After through the Video introductory, Nathan went through the verbal and hand signs needed etc etc. He showed me some tips and pointers on how to enjoy my session. I Suit up, Flight Gear with helmet, knee pads, elbow pads and goggles, ready for my first indoor flight. After the session ends, Nathan gave me a Souvenir Flight Certificate with my name on it. The session was indeed exhilarating and I don't mind returning to clock my hours since the next session will be like $17 for 1 session. But from what I found out, I need to do it within 3 months else have to go thru that "introductory" all over again. *Sigh* All in all its a fun stuff to do indoors, though I would want to do it outdoors in REAL LIFE. So I have to tell you I was terrified to do this. The trainers were amazing and helped me every step of the way. You start off with a brief flight hand signal lesson. You get suited up. I didn't wear the correct shoes so they have shoes you can use. It's pricey $60.00 for two minutes and you go in as a group and then go in one at a time. You are in the tube and friends can take pictures of you from from the outside.You always have a trainer with you. I had a difficult time breathing when I did it. Which they don't warn you about so if you don't like wind at 90 mph going up your nose ask for a helmet that covers your face. You can add "extras" like virtual realty, additional minutes,and pictures. I enjoyed the experience. The place was great but I will probably never do it again. I am happy I did it. read more

My husband loves coming here. always wanted me to go so on his 33 birthday i agreed. Super fun! Lamar was our instructor. He was AWESOME! we had a great time. Anyone can do this. After watching a quick video your instructor comes in and gives you the short and easy speech. There is a person in the control room snapping photos and controlling the air fan. I drooled on myself, but had so much fun I didn't even care. That's pretty serious. The rational, frugal part of me wants to give Skyventure 4 stars because it IS so pricey, but it was such a great time that my id demands I give it 5 stars. The instructional video is short and sweet, they provide you with all the gear you need, and my instructor/coach, Bill, was AWESOME. He clearly had an absolute love for what he was doing, and his enthusiasm was contagious. I had two, 2-minute sessions in the chamber, and for the second one he showed me how to do some basic moves, like turn myself around and go backwards and forwards. And then I paid an extra $15 just to have 1 more minute. THAT is how much fun it was. I definitely recommend making reservations. I went on a weekday afternoon and didn't have a problem walking in and getting started without them, but by the time I had finished there were several other people suiting up, so I think I just got lucky. For what it's worth, I think that part of the reason I had so much fun is because I went when practically no one else was there, so I didn't have to worry about what a dork I looked like. And, as I mentioned, Bill was super laid back and enthusiastic, so I didn't feel stressed about what I was doing wrong or how I could be doing better, I just enjoyed the ride. read more

This place is so freakin' cool. My husband was always the skydiver, and when he wanted our son to try indoor skydiving, I was like "yeah, whatever." But honestly, I tried it too, and while I'm not as hooked on it as our son, I love iFly. Every single person who works there that we've come in contact with for the past year and a half we've been going, has been fantastic. There's not a single staff member or instructor where I'm like "yeah...they're ok.," they're ALL GREAT. Super patient with first time fliers, very very professional when dealing with entitled, cranky people, charismatic, and fun to be around. When we had the chance to have my son fly at a different iFly location out of state, the manager of Denver (Meghan is the best) called over there to let them know we were coming, and I had a great chat with the manager at THAT location who made sure my son had a good experience. Our experience at iFLY tonight with Alex was awesome. Three in our family had never flown before, only our older son had done it at a birthday party in San Francisco. He felt like an expert, going first in the tunnel and zooming around feeling quite confident. The check in process was easy, we got to watch other flyers while we waited, and our instructor Alex was professional, knowledgeable, and great fun to work with. He made each of us feel comfortable with the equipment and signals, and even had us feeling like we could get to the point of doing tricks with practice! Seeing my younger son zooming up into the tunnel during the high flight was very cool. Both kids had a blast even with no tech in hand! We will definitely come again. Our family package came with free videos of our flights, but due to something weird in the timing, they only caught the last 10 seconds of each flight and then the first 90 seconds of the next guys - because we were mixed in with another group.
