Snöbahn is great because of the simple fact that money talks. Every time. Have you gone to the ski resorts and requested pricing on their ski or snowboarding class? You will shell out $$$$. Snöbahn will help you learn either one of the sports above without you having to kill your cute piggy bank. The deal: $30/30 minutes intro. Then $45/30 minutes each time. If you're starting 30 minutes is a lot. It may not sound it but it is! Three "slopes". No difference either one but I think the middle slope has that glass in front that can serve as your mirror if you wanna watch your pathetic form :( The instructors are patient. As they should be. Seasoned and trained to teach. As we know not everyone can teach. Even if you've ski'd your whole life. Refrain from trying to teach your friend how to ski if you don't know how to. Teach. I mean. You might end up ruining it for them. Adult learners have very specific needs. Not only are we more scared but we are a bit argumentative. Yeah you. Yes you. You're no saint :) You can book your class online. They require that you start a profile and sign an electronic waiver Tips: bottom: wear something that will easily go over a ski boots or will tuck in nicely like tights. It affects your boot fitting. Tops:? Who cares! But it's warm inside. Not real snow. Duh... Equipment: no need to haul your stuff. They provide everything. But bring your ski socks. Or you can bring your own boots so you can start adjusting it accordingly. P.S they serve alcohol. As soon as you walk in the bar is right there! Noooo.., don't drink before you ski. Meh! I really don't mind what you do but good luck and have fun!

Several children, wearing helmets, are actively engaged in skiing activities under the supervision of an instructor. The facility features safety gear such as helmets and equipment, with a modern, well-lit environment and safety railings. The background displays branding for Salomon, indicating a focus on winter sports training.

I had an amazing here on Wednesday night! Casey was super helpful and patient with me on the phone and assisted me in booking a lesson. When I arrived, Jake my instructor was there to greet me and made me feel very welcome. Jake was super knowledgeable about the ski slopes and taught me some new things about snowboarding too. Incredible faculty and I would recommend it to everyone!

Not only is Snobahn one of the more unique things you'll ever do, I also think it really helps people learn how to ski or snowboard in a safe, controlled environment. You learn on a giant remote controlled treadmill with astroturf on top - how cool is that? I did a $30/30 minute intro lesson because we were going snowboarding the same day, and I forgot to book a lesson in advance at the mountain. Snobahn seemed like a reasonable option to try and remind myself what to do before my second-ever time snowboarding. And while I can't fully say Snobahn did all of it because I also spent two hours on the bunny slope/magic carpet at the mountain, I was able to easily make it down the mountain without falling on just my second time snowboarding! However it happened, that was pretty awesome to me. I went from hating my life on the snowboard to having a GREAT time. I love snowboarding now, and I'm pretty sure Snobahn helped with that part. I didn't magically get out there with everything working, but I used a lot of the skills that I learned in my class that highly accelerated my learning on real snow. The lesson itself is really cool. They set you up with gear (board, boots, helmet) and give you a quick rundown of how the lesson will go. They walk you through a few skills, and then you get to practice under the watchful eye of an instructor who is right there with you. It's really cool because the instructor is really paying attention, and they'll make sure that a treadmill YouTube nightmare won't happen. If you fall, they stop the carpet, and then they start it up again when you're ready to go. You can get a ton of reps that would be very painful and frustrating to endure on the mountain without all the negative parts. You get an encouraging instructor who is really helping you figure out what you need to correct. While it doesn't 100% translate because snow gives a little more, I do think this helps a lot. I'm debating if I'm going to keep going back or if I'm confident enough to learn the rest on the mountain. The fact that I'm not scared of almost any runs now and can be fully under control, whether that was me or the confidence that Snobahn gave me, is nothing short of a miracle. I might be back, or I might not, and if I'm not, it's because this place really helped me learn a lot in a very short period of time.

What an awesome place to introduce your kiddos to skiing or snowboarding (and also wear them out with parkour and jumping!) We went to a birthday party here yesterday and I'm so surprised that this place has been under my nose for so long and I had no idea it was there. Parties: The kids get a combo of warm ups, parkouring, jumping (dodgeball) and ski lessons. My guy took to this like a duck to water and I can't wait to sign him up for a summer camp in 2019. High fives to all the staff. It takes a great deal of patience to teach kids and keep them corralled and happy. My little dude had a meltdown and one of the instructors took him to the side and played/jumped with him until he perked up again. Tip: there's a bar. Whaat? Coffee, beer, wine so adults can keep themselves entertained if they don't want to hover over a lesson the whole time. I'm a new fan.

My son and I are taking snowboarding and skiing lessons here. We love that it's close, the instructors are super nice, it's pretty reasonably priced and we don't have to freeze to learn! My son is looking forward to going to a real mountain to try out what he's learned

Seems to be really good for kids

This was an incredible and unique experience for me. I have been skiing many times before, but wanted to give snowboarding a shot this season. I had planned to take a lesson my first day on the mountain, but a friend recommended this place as a better place to start. She was not wrong! The introductory 30 minute group lesson was only $30, so I figured what the heck...even if it's gimmicky their setup looks interesting and I'll probably still have fun even if I don't learn anything. Surprise! I learned a ton!! The way the slope is set up, the instructors can continually change the pitch and speed of your terrain. As soon as you feel uncomfortable or fall they can immediately stop and reset so you can try again. It's like compressing an entire day of leaning into half an hour! The mat that moves under you has a good amount of friction, and really feels a lot like regular snow. In reality, it's slightly damp indoor outdoor carpet or something like that. Either way, it works! I went from never touching a snowboard in my entire life to doing S turns in half an hour. Sure, I busted a bunch of times in the process, but that's part of learning! And the faster you get back up and try again, the faster you can learn the proper things to do and get a feel for your new skill. They have bars that you can hold onto as well, so you always feel like you are in control and comfortable. Honestly, one of the coolest experiences I've had recently. Can't wait to go back! Protip: Bring your ski socks!

I was directed to the beginner area with the understanding that staff would be hands-on and supportive with new riders. Unfortunately, that was not my experience. The staff lacked warmth and did not provide the level of hands-on guidance that beginners need. When I asked for help, the assistance felt hesitant and dismissive rather than instructional. I was sent down the beginner slope without being taught how to stop, slow down, or fall safely. As a result, I gained speed quickly, fell backward, and hit my head on the ice (despite wearing a helmet). I was visibly distressed and remained on the slope for some time without staff checking on me or intervening, which was concerning given that other beginners were actively using the area. Due to the lack of instruction, attentiveness, and overall care, I did not feel safe continuing and was unable to use the snowboarding portion of my visit. I reported the issue on-site and later contacted guest services to share my concerns. I hope management takes beginner safety, staff engagement, and hands-on instruction more seriously moving forward, as this experience did not feel supportive or safe for someone new to the sport.

My husband bought the poles last weekend, without me present, and of course he no longer had the receipt, as husbands are wont to do. I figured they have our purchases on file so I went in for the exchange. One staffer was super helpful, quickly grabbing a new set of poles in the size we needed. Unfortunately when the redhead went to do the exchange, she accused me of returning used poles because the rubber on the handles was slightly scuffed--I said no, they were just purchased last weekend and the tag is still on (with the snow was bad as it's been this year, we've hardly been up at all!). I said--that must be how you sell them, because you can see this new set I was just handed was also scuffed up on the handle. Of course after that she found the order (under my phone number not my husband's) but it feels pretty crappy to be accused of something when you're just a loyal customer trying to get the right size gear for your child. I have to say, I'll think twice before visiting this Park Meadows location again. Maybe Aurora will be better.

A small complaint is we wish the ramp were longer as it's harder to combine multiple turns in a single run.
