This place was awesome! We did the trampoline park and watched skiers go down the mega ramp. The tramps are very bouncy with high quality springs. The employees were very helpful in teaching us how to do various tricks. My boyfriend went from never stepping foot on a trampoline to almost doing a backflip within a few hours. Got there Sunday morning, it didn't start getting crowded until the early afternoon. Very nicely kept establishment and easy parking. Fair admission price for a fun day activity. read more

This place is legit. We planned on going to some skateparks today but it was rainy. So my hubby found this spot & we decided to check it out. Upon entering he got his form filled out quick, checked in & was provided all info for skating. I noticed they have a cool lounge area with a beer/wine bar. And alot of different variety teas & non-alcoholic beverages I haven't seen anywhere else as well. I love anything lavender or cucumber infused so I was stoked. They have spot to practice snowboarding & some half pipes for skateboarders. They also have a spot for birthday parties. They sell snowboarding shoes in the back as well & some pretty cool retail wear gear in front. The bathroom was basic but clean. I appreciated the touchless faucet & soap dispenser. I cannot say enough wonderful things about our experience at Snobahn! We flew in from Chicago with 3 kids that have never skiied before, and weren't quite sure if they were going to enjoy skiing at all. We were planning to visit some family in Vail, so before we headed out that way, we stopped by Snobahn to get in some lessons. Let me tell you, the service was outstanding. They were able to get all 3 of our kids in for lessons last minute. The instructor was so knowledgable and made the lesson for our kids so fun! They each walked away wanting to ski! We had the pleasure of meeting one of the owners, and he was such a delight! Made us all feel very welcome. Last but not least, the waffles they serve are delish! Snöbahn will help you learn either one of the sports above without you having to kill your cute piggy bank. The deal: $30/30 minutes intro. Then $45/30 minutes each time. If you're starting 30 minutes is a lot. It may not sound it but it is! Three "slopes". No difference either one but I think the middle slope has that glass in front that can serve as your mirror if you wanna watch your pathetic form :( The instructors are patient. As they should be. Seasoned and trained to teach. As we know not everyone can teach. Even if you've ski'd your whole life. Refrain from trying to teach your friend how to ski if you don't know how to. Teach. I mean. You might end up ruining it for them. Adult learners have very specific needs. Not only are we more scared but we are a bit argumentative. Yeah you. Yes you. You're no saint :) You can book your class online. They require that you start a profile and sign an electronic waiver Tips: bottom: wear something that will easily go over a ski boots or will tuck in nicely like tights. It affects your boot fitting. Wow- this place is awesome! We're going to the mountains this weekend and decided to give our 5 year old a jump start for her lesson. I wish we'd done this sooner! You can opt for a membership, lesson packages, or just one lesson. Obviously since this was last minute, we opted for a single beginner group lesson. There was only one other 5 yo with her so that was nice. First they fit you for boots, skis, and a helmet (unless you bring your own, of course) and then they take you to one of the 3 "slopes". The instructors are wonderful. So patient and knowledgeable. The simulated hills have large screens in front so that as you advance, you have to avoid obstacles- ski around trees, jump over things, etc. It is pretty cool. I absolutely see the value in purchasing a membership or group of classes. However, they don't just do skiing! There are also huge trampolines and ramps for skaters. Separate packages (or you can get both) are available. They do birthday parties and there is also a bar (coffee and alcohol) in the front. It's definitely a cool place and I know we will be back. Not only is Snobahn one of the more unique things you'll ever do, I also think it really helps people learn how to ski or snowboard in a safe, controlled environment. You learn on a giant remote controlled treadmill with astroturf on top - how cool is that? I did a $30/30 minute intro lesson because we were going snowboarding the same day, and I forgot to book a lesson in advance at the mountain. Snobahn seemed like a reasonable option to try and remind myself what to do before my second-ever time snowboarding. And while I can't fully say Snobahn did all of it because I also spent two hours on the bunny slope/magic carpet at the mountain, I was able to easily make it down the mountain without falling on just my second time snowboarding! However it happened, that was pretty awesome to me. I went from hating my life on the snowboard to having a GREAT time. I love snowboarding now, and I'm pretty sure Snobahn helped with that part. I didn't magically get out there with everything working, but I used a lot of the skills that I learned in my class that highly accelerated my learning on real snow. The lesson itself is really cool. They set you up with gear (board, boots, helmet) and give you a quick rundown of how the lesson will go. They walk you through a few skills, and then you get to practice under the watchful eye of an instructor who is right there with you. It's really cool because the instructor is really paying attention, and they'll make sure that a treadmill YouTube nightmare won't happen. If you fall, they stop the carpet, and then they start it up again when you're ready to go. You can get a ton of reps that would be very painful and frustrating to endure on the mountain without all the negative parts. You get an encouraging instructor who is really helping you figure out what you need to correct. While it doesn't 100% translate because snow gives a little more, I do think this helps a lot. I'm debating if I'm going to keep going back or if I'm confident enough to learn the rest on the mountain. The fact that I'm not scared of almost any runs now and can be fully under control, whether that was me or the confidence that Snobahn gave me, is nothing short of a miracle. I'm from the East Coast so my experience with skiing and snowboarding is minimal. I traveled to Denver for business and was interested in trying to hit the slopes while in town. Given that lift tickets were ~$200 I opted for Snobahn lessons instead. I chose to do an hour of lessons which ended up being about $75 which included all the gear you need. The instructors were fantastic, extremely patient and did a great job explaining things in a variety of ways until it stuck. The lessons were moderately paced; not feeling rushed but a good tempo where you covered everything expected for that lesson. Even if you don't take lessons with these folks, I recommend at least stopping by and checking the place out. The large conveyor belts that simulate skiing is awesome and watching people ski and snowboard was alot of fun. There are drinks available for purchase which makes watching even better. read more

What an awesome place to introduce your kiddos to skiing or snowboarding (and also wear them out with parkour and jumping!) We went to a birthday party here yesterday and I'm so surprised that this place has been under my nose for so long and I had no idea it was there. Parties: The kids get a combo of warm ups, parkouring, jumping (dodgeball) and ski lessons. My guy took to this like a duck to water and I can't wait to sign him up for a summer camp in 2019. High fives to all the staff. It takes a great deal of patience to teach kids and keep them corralled and happy. My little dude had a meltdown and one of the instructors took him to the side and played/jumped with him until he perked up again. Tip: there's a bar. Whaat? This was an incredible and unique experience for me. I have been skiing many times before, but wanted to give snowboarding a shot this season. I had planned to take a lesson my first day on the mountain, but a friend recommended this place as a better place to start. She was not wrong! The introductory 30 minute group lesson was only $30, so I figured what the heck...even if it's gimmicky their setup looks interesting and I'll probably still have fun even if I don't learn anything. Surprise! I learned a ton!! The way the slope is set up, the instructors can continually change the pitch and speed of your terrain. As soon as you feel uncomfortable or fall they can immediately stop and reset so you can try again. It's like compressing an entire day of leaning into half an hour! The mat that moves under you has a good amount of friction, and really feels a lot like regular snow. In reality, it's slightly damp indoor outdoor carpet or something like that. Either way, it works! I went from never touching a snowboard in my entire life to doing S turns in half an hour. Sure, I busted a bunch of times in the process, but that's part of learning! And the faster you get back up and try again, the faster you can learn the proper things to do and get a feel for your new skill. They have bars that you can hold onto as well, so you always feel like you are in control and comfortable. Honestly, one of the coolest experiences I've had recently. Can't wait to go back! My husband went here for an introductory group ski class in preparation for an upcoming ski trip. We signed up online and went on Friday afternoon. I tried to get in on Saturday but it was booked, it seems like you need to reserve weekend classes well in advance. When we walked in we were greeted instantly and an employee directed us to wait at the bar until our lesson started. The bar looked fully stocked with snacks as well. The place is well organized and the staff was very helpful. We were directed to the ski and boot fitting area where staff measured our feet, picked out boots, skis, and helmets. I really liked that they took time to ensure we were properly fitted. We both got to be on the same slope with 1 instructor, Mark. It really felt like a private lesson even though it was just the 2 of us. Mark was a very good teacher and took us through all the basics including corret form, pizza, and french fry! We both started to get it by the end, although the carpet is a bit differnt the the real thing. I feel better prepared. Also, 30 min is plenty of time. This place is awesome! I have been about 3-4 times in the last month. I do the freestyle which is amazing, 5 super trampolines, a ramp into an airbag, a high dive drop, and two boxes into the airbag. All of the features I just listed go into airbag except two tramps. But those to tramps have a bungee cord to get higher. Every time I go they constantly help with new tricks I want to lear and have all the tools to help. The have pads to land on, great advice, tramp skis, skateboards, scooters, snowboards, and more all for the trial to get a feeling on what it feels like to do a trick with something not just on your feet. SNÖBAHN has introduced me to skiing, and I can't be more thankful for such an amazing experience. Learning how to ski as an adult could be very challenging as I didn't even know how to put the ski boots on. I took 6 lessons and felt like it gave me a good base to start taking lessons on the slopes (I would probably take more but the ski season has started as I was too excited to try my skills on the "real" mountain). All lessons include real helmets, boots and skies. It is such a cool work out (we were sweating bullets after 30 minutes). I feel like it is not only for learning but also for mastering your skills. All the instructors are fantastic but my favorite one is Aaron. I truly made a huge improvement in my skills with his expertise. I have recommended this place to so many people! My introductory lesson at Snöbahn was incredible. It was a bit difficult to find parking as the front of the building faces a walkway not parking spaces. It was $30 for a 30 minute session. It was my first time skiing ever! I hoped time at Snöbahn would prepare me for my first time skiing, and it definitely gave me confidence before going to the slopes for my first time. They measured my feet for the right boot size, and told me to remember my ski height and boot size. The machine is like a giant treadmill covered in carpet. My instructor, Christian, was really friendly and patient, allowing my unfit self to take breaks a few times. We worked on maintaining our speed with a pizza shape, stopping, and learning proper form. I did a 1:2 session with a stranger and it wasn't awkward at all. The only awkward part was when my sweat dripped down my face and shirt at the end of the lesson and other friendly instructors were hoping to make conversation with me but I was too embarrassed of my sweatiness (sorry Harry). LOL. I highly recommend Snöbahn, I was awesome on the slopes and am excited to go back to nail my parallel turns before next season! read more

My fiancé signed up online for a 30 min group session. I went with her today and it was a real seamless experience. Showed up 15 mins early as instructed online and I would suggest you do the same just to get gear on and get situated. Nick was instructor and there was no one else in group so she got 30 mins of one on one teaching! Saw significant progress from start to finish and would suggest that first timers do this atleast once before heading to mountain. Also heard from staff that they're putting in more advanced training facility the adjoining suite. read more

First time going there for the private introductory lesson was great, as was the private trampoline training they claim that's required to use the trampoline. Second time on the trampoline there were young kids all over the place not following any rules despite staff and parents watching. There was also a pee smell in the place. Went there to practice ski tricks, something you can only do here. The unruly kids can goto a trampoline park anywhere to do what they were doing. Safety wise, didn't feel comfortable there with 12 kids on a single trampoline. I could easily land on a bad kid That went under me or land and send a kid airborne. As a ski instructor with over 7 years experience teaching kids to ski, I can confidently tell you this place is a waste of time to teach you to ski. The fake snow carpet feels totally different then real snow. You can't carve your edges in the carpet when stopping or making turns like with real snow. The carpet is too steep, getting you're kid tired quickly. The skis are tuned/ waxed differently then snow skis. Do your self a favor and goto a nearby (real) ski area. It's a waste of money to goto vail or (especially) aspen if you don't know how to ski blue or black runs. I learned how to ski at a place in the Midwest where many Olympic skiers learned to ski and tickets there are $15. Told staff and did nothing, not even a apology for ruining my weekend which could have been at a real ski area. Thankfully American Express came through refunding my money. read more

This is the place to get warmed up for ski season and to work on technique. It is significantly cheaper than any on mountain ski school, but they pull instructors from those resorts. All equipment rentals - skis, boots, helmets - are free. The carpets are actively controlled by the instructor who can start and stop and adjust speed on the fly. And, because it is indoors, its warm. My three year old when from "what's this" to maintaining a wedge in 20 mins. I was able to improve my turns in two visits to the point that my friends notice the difference at Breck. It's not easy. Bad turns or balance issues that you can maneuver out of on snow will bring you crashing down on the carpet. And there is a gigantic mirror that will let no flaw in your skiing go unnoticed. But it does work. There is also a tubing area if you just wanna ride around. read more

I really like this place. It sure beats fighting I-70 traffic to find out if your kids even like to ski. It was $25 for a half an hour lesson. They have ski lessons and snowboard lessons. Equipment rental (skis, snowboards, boots and helmets) are included in the lesson. There's also an indoor hill for tubing, so kids and parents can do that before or after a lesson and the price is included. It's indoors, so you can just wear regular indoor clothing. This place is great! My wife and kids (not much skiing experience) took lessons and had a blast. There are three separate "hills" with fixed and identical slope, although it's possible they can manually vary the slopes, I don't know. Each "hill" has a moving carpet (apparently "lubricated" with water) on what I assume is a belt-type conveyor system, with variable speed. There is a bar (with variable height) to hold onto for starting. The instructor can instantly kill the belt speed using a remote control, seems very safe. While skiing, you can see your (partial) reflection in the large semi-transparent window at the bottom of each "hill" (to review technique). There is also a fun tubing hill off to the side. The staff were very friendly, equipment is high quality, and some food/drinks are available for purchase. read more
