I wish I had seen the Yelp reviews before I had tried to order $1000 worth of riding gear. It got resolved, but they took the money from my credit card and then told me they can't accept my credit. I sat in chat to resolve it with no luck. They told me I had to call after confirming a bunch of information. So, I sat on hold to resolve it. The person I did work with when I got through was kind and polite. But it took 22 minutes after 20 minutes in chat. Well, that's some serious BS. You don't get to take the money first and then make me jump through hoops to get the product. You *can* take my card because you did. You had to refund it. Then I had to buy with Paypal. Absurd. It makes zero sense. If you are worried about fraud, maybe don't run my card in the first place. Buyer beware. I have never met an online retailer who made it this hard to give $1000 of my hard-earned American dollar until yesterday. I spent an hour of my day dealing with this. August 6th, bought Panniers and crash bars for my new bike. Through Amazon. Tusk logo upside down on the crash bars - see pics. Ding on the top of one of the panniers and touch-up paint on the other - see pics. What would have to be true to: -place two orders on Amazon on the same day for two different Tusks products that were fulfilled through two different Amazon sellers (RM & MX Powerplay) and to have gross QA issues with each? I brought the matter to the attention of Malishea T. at RM - Tusk's OEM. And despite having the Amazon Store that sold the crashers and was also the Sales rep for MX PowerPlay the seller of the panniers and to whom the returned panniers were shipped to.... And she politely responded and did not wish to get involved. In business, accountability and integrity matters. You don't get a pass for not managing your resellers or for building shoddy products. RM makes some very inspiring build videos. Watch them.. but don't buy the products because they absolutely will not stand behind their Brand. At what point are we emabarrassed? read more

I ordered a spare wheel and tire for my side by side. I updated my address, but apparently it only worked for my credit card so that Craparal/RMATV could take my money and they shipped the wheel to my house two houses ago. I called when I got the shipped notice and they charged me $15 for a shipping address change, but the order still went to the wrong address. The rep I spoke with typed in a wrong number that I read off the order summary, then he said that I read it wrong. They said that it's my fault and I have to eat the loss. read more

I'm really disappointed with my experience with Rocky Mountain ATV. I bought a pair of riding pants for my father-in-law, who's an avid rider, and on just one of his first rides, the pants tore. For gear that's supposed to be durable and made for rugged use, this was really surprising. When I contacted customer service, they declined to offer a replacement and only offered to patch the pants. (While charging us for shipping and handling to do so). I explained that the damage happened with minimal use and that we expected more from a brand with such a strong reputation. Unfortunately, they wouldn't make an exception, even though this clearly seemed like a quality issue. We were hoping Rocky Mountain ATV would stand behind their products, but that hasn't been our experience. Horrible experience with my order. Place the order Sunday, got confirmation that it was going to ship Monday and received Wednesday. Four days later they contact me for security check on my address and bank card. Why they didn't deal with this on Monday so that they could ship and I could receive in a timely manner, No answer was given. Asked if they could expedite shipping, was told no. Asked if I could speak to someone that was higher than her. She said yes but they're going to tell me the same thing. Unfortunately this company has gotten so big that they forgot the people that made them big. Support your local small bike shops instead. Placed an order over the weekend, paid with the card and had an expected ship date. I was out of cell service Monday but they had called seeking some information. No problem. I called back on Tuesday and was told they need to confirm my address, credit card number and security number. Okay, no problem giving the address AGAIN but not the card number AGAIN. I was told that is the policy to get these before the order continues to ship out. WT-, my card went though YOUR card system in which it gave me a confirmation number and ship date (is that not a contract??). Now the best friggen part -- my card was charged the day before! I should have looked at their reviews before I bought from their website. I ordered a new fork brace for my bike and it came with a scuffs to paint and metal, metal chipped in two places. The packaging was fine. They know it is damaged and they still shipped it to me the customer. This is really bad business practice. It was my first purchase, I will not buy from them again. I've been a loyal customer of Rocky Mountain ATV/MC for years and have never had an issue. However, on my last order RM utilized a lower cost carrier (OnTrac) to deliver the order that included an expensive Arai Helmet. OnTrac misplaced or lost the shipment. Rocky Mountain customer service states that they are unable to replace the order OR issue a credit until OnTrac completes a full investigation. Ricky Mountain ATV have been great people to purchase all my off road parts for many years but they are losing their great reputation with me over these lighted whips. We bought these whips for the simple fact that they have a lifetime warranty and they were cool. Myself I don't usually buy this kind of stuff but my buddy "Jihad" Fred talked me into it. Horrible customer service Horrible customer service. I ordered $1,700 worth of supplies for my UTV. I had one problem with a plastic clamp that snapped on a $59 dollar grab handle. When I called, I was told they would have to run it by their "warranty department" and would call me back! I waited the rest of the day and no one called. I emailed them and told them if they could not get the part, to please send me return authorization. I waited another day and still have heard nothing. When I called back again, they tell me they are still waiting for someone from their "warranty department" to get back with them! I am done with this company. No more orders from me. I do like their website and they usually have good inventory and ship out within 24hrs but I will be reluctant to order from them again for as long as they continue to use OnTrac and FedEx to ship their orders. I understand that this is not Rocky Mountain's problem directly, but who you contract to do business with (OnTrac and FedEx) still represents a piece of the company. I'd rather pay for shipping on all orders and have it delivered on time and not MISSING! I had $63.64 in rewards (RM Cash) in my online RM ATV account - placed an order for $82.18 and applied the RM Cash so expecting a total charge of $18.54. After receiving the invoice I checked my checking balance and the full $82.18 was taken from my account. When I called RM ATV I was met with an attitude - I must have screwed up! Irregardless I wanted the situation corrected - I've placed 14 orders (totalling $1000's) and never had this issue. I also asked for the name of the President of the company so I could write a letter - to which I was denied. When I contacted RM ATV - I was told I didn't contact them? Even though I had the names of Talyx and Iaan from the chat attempts that they show no record of??? Seriously? RMATV has been my favorite place to shop for moto gear for the past 3 years or so because their prices were reasonable and the shipping speed was incredibly fast. This is partially because they have a warehouse in KY and I live in Ohio. Lately, however, The shipping speed is slow. In fact, items are arriving later than promised when they used to arrive earlier than promised. I've also had to deal with their customer service multiple times lately, and each time, the customer service representatives were unable to help. All they were able to do was repeat information that I already had from their website. Also, one female representative talked over me and kept repeating information that I told her at the beginning of the call. I seriously wondered if she was on medication or just really terrible at communicating! Looks like I might have to head back to Revzilla and see if they are still good after being purchased by Cycle Gear. read more

RM ATV/MC - Actually READ the reviews below, your Customers are telling you what you are doing wrong!!! When are you going to WAKE UP and realize your policies are making you LOSE Business???? Like many of the reviews below, I placed an order late at night only to have a text message the following day asking me to reach out to finish processing my order. After calling them back the next day, they informed me I needed to have them process a small transaction (less than $1.00) to my CC. I would then to need to call them back AGAIN to tell them what small amount was charged to verify I was the legit cardholder. This was all explained under the guise of somehow protecting me. I informed the customer service agent that the original charge of $80 already was processed to my card. That all billing info and shipping info was the same and matching with my card. There is no cause for concern relating to the charge. Furthermore I am NEVER worried about any transaction to my card because I will NEVER be responsible for the charge if it was fraud. So, I'm not sure how they are "protecting" me, it sounds like they are covering their own asses. I discovered that this is a policy for ALL NEW Customers. Make the customer jump through hoops in order for RM to have peace of mind on every transaction. I have never had any Vendor, MX or otherwise have such an asinine policy for EVERY transaction. Do yourself a favor and DO NOT do business with this company. Needless to say I cancelled my order while I was on the phone with them. I asked to speak with the Manager about the asinine policy but they told me they don't speak with Customers over the phone and that I would have to email them. All in all, there are many other Vendors out there that I have had much better experiences with and appreciate their customers. Very disappointed with RM. I purchased a tusk talon front tire and I did not like it. It was not as advertised and I believe it to be a poorly designed budget tire. So I wrote a poor review for the product I purchased and RM will not post the review to the tire reviews. They are sensoring the review so people will continue to by this junk. BEWARE OF THIS PLACE Considering doing business with this company was my first mistake. Trusting this company was my second mistake. Not receiving my order with no idea where part of it is, is the last mistake I will make with this company. There is also another issue which I will explain next. I placed my order online and their system gave me a delivery date of 5/10/19. The next day, 5/9/19 I looked at my order on their website and it stated that part of my order was on backorder, yet their website showed the items in stock. Their system told me to call them. This is the FIRST ISSUE....If for security reasons you need to verify something with the customer it should be your responsibility to contact the customer, not the other way around. You had questions but you did not call me, you did not email me, you waited for me to call. What if I never checked up on my order? I decided to try and do a live chat with one of their team members. This woman was one of the rudest customer service representatives I've ever dealt with. Not only was she rude but she also cancelled my order???? So I call in and get a really nice lady, she was very, very helpful, polite and put an order back in the system for me, unfortunately somehow she ended up only ordering 3 tires instead of 4. She quickly realized this and did correct it, but because she only ordered 3 first, I was charged for 3 tires. When she added the 4th tire, she charged my credit card again for only one tire but between the two orders the total charge came out to the price for 4 tires which I was charged for the first time, yes your live chat lady cancelled my order but still charged my credit card. You would think the it stops here. Oh NO.... The front tires came via Ontrac on Friday 5/10/19. The back tires were sent via FedEx, a completely horrible company. The estimated delivery date for the back tires was shown for 5/11/19. FedEx's system told me that my back tires were loaded onto the truck on 5/11/19 at 4:38am for delivery and was scheduled first by 12 noon, then it changed to by the end of the day and of course the back tires NEVER SHOWED UP????? FedEx could tell me exactly when I will receive my tires. Their IDIOT Representative told me that they only do home delivery Tuesday through Saturday, so if my package does not arrive by 9pm tonight (Saturday), WHICH it DID NOT ARRIVE TONIGHT, that I probably would not receive my package until sometime Tuesday. As of this review I have paid you for 8 tires, when I ONLY ordered 4 tires of which only 2 tires arrived. I never received a call from this company about where or when my other tires would arrive. Of course all I got was sorry....this company has a lot of issues which was expressed by every person I talked to. Complaints are a daily thing with this company apparently. If you had success with them you are one of the FEW lucky people. READ the reviews before considering doing business with this company. It's a shame Rocky Mountain has fallen from what it used to be. I stopped ordering anything from them a little over a year ago but decided to try them out again. My mistake, I placed an order through the pay in 4 plan and was charged the total amount and the first payment. I was able to contact PayPal and reverse the first payment and was advised to cancel the order through Rocky Mountain and reorder the products. PayPal also informed me that it would have been a problem with Rocky Mountains website. When I called Rocky Mountain I was informed that they would not cancel the order and that in order for me to go back through the order process I'd have to return the items and pay return shipping. They would not change the billing in any way. I told them I no longer want the items, cancel the order all together, and I would take my business elsewhere... again they won't cancel the order and are of absolutely no help. Used to be for the riders by the riders... that no longer applies. I had posted a review about my last issues with them when I stopped shopping with them in the first place on their website, that review vanished quickly and was an issue with receiving something I didn't want because their website is unclear and their policies exploit that. read more

I have a dealer account with them and do more business than the average customer. Recently I bought their brand of tires and after 50 miles one of the tires had the rubber layer peeling causing a flat and leaving me stranded 50 miles away from my truck in the desert. They then tried to tell me what actually happened was a stick magically caused a 2 inch slit in the layers of the rubber even though all there was for miles was sage and a wide open road I was traveling on. I spoke with many reps and even a supervisor. I received one threat to have my account banned when I stated I did not want to file a credit dispute but would do what I had to. I also was told I was Incompetent and their warranty team sees this everyday. Maybe if your brand of tires are delaminating everyday you need more quality control. Unfortunately the quality of tusk parts along with the customer service you receive from Rocky Mountain atv has gone downhill and continues to get worse as time goes on. After this they have lost all my business and I can no longer promote them as the go to place for parts all because of a faulty tire they would not make right. read more

I have made several purchases with Rocky Mountain over the past 5+ years and have always been satisfied with them. However, times must be changing because since April 1, they have done me wrong twice. 1. I sent a return in on April 14, 2021. Item was unused, still in original packaging, and with all tags still attached. The Fedex tracking label they sent me show's delivered on April 19, 2021. I have still yet to receive a refund, and when calling they tell me it will be "processed in the next few business days". This is completely unacceptable that they hold your money. The excuse of "we are experiencing high demand" is a cop out for taking this long. 2. Submitted an order on April 20, 2021 to purchase more parts given I had just sent a return. 2 of the 7 items shipped from Utah and arrived promptly. The other 5 have yet to even been given to the carrier. April 26, a shipping label was printed, but to this day it has never been taken to the carrier. After 6 calls and 2 chats, NOT A SINGLE AGENT CAN FIND THE PACKAGE. I requested a refund instead and they denied it. 2 weeks in and 0 customer service. No promise to expedite shipping to make ammends, refusal of a refund even when items haven't shipped. This company has lost my business and my support from now on. I used to recommend them above all other sites to ALL of my friends I have and do meet riding. That will no longer be the case. I'm sure there will be a cut and paste response made to this asking for me to email their sales support, but given the number of times I've been on the phone I don't feel that is necessary. I will be patiently waiting for the 30 day deadline to arrive in regards to the return and the purchased items before filing a BBB complaint, a consumers rights complaint, and a dispute with my credit card if these transactions are not completed as promised within the 30 day time frame. read more

Ontrac their contracted shipper is a less then an ideal carrier as they are not the most reliable... Ordered a tire with two day shipping on a Monday, and they didn't even bother handing it off to the carrier until late Wednesday. I got expedited shipping so this tire could get to me in time for an important trip. It didn't. Absolute waste of the extra money spent on fast shipping. I ordered a set of 4 tires and wheels. I was sent 2 mounted wheels and tires that a weren't mine. I contacted a customer service representative. First thing I asked was where is my order? Then I asked why I wasn't given the option of mounting and balancing since after seeing the other guys invoice that was sent to me the option is FREE. I was informed that it was "buried" at the bottom of the page and hard to find. "I should have called" she said. Then I was told I would have to ship the other guys tires and wheels back and they would have to receive mine from the other guy before mine would be shipped. I didn't screw this up, Rocky Mountain Atv did. Now I'm on the hook to repackage and return ship. Worst customer service experience ever. Spend your money elsewhere. Absolutely NO SUPPORT read more
