We worked with your sales associate for three days on a Razor trade. The numbers were discussed, the deal was worked up, and we had an appointment scheduled. We loaded our Razor onto a trailer, drove 1 hour and 30 minutes, and even received a call confirming we were on our way. After arriving and sitting down, we were told the machine we were trading for was not even there. That is unacceptable!!!! You knew we were coming. We live over an hour away. Loading and hauling a Razor is not a small task. We rearranged family plans and missed events because we were prepared to move forward. This was a complete waste of our time and a serious failure in communication and customer service. We will not be returning. Absolutely lost our business. Never been so disappointed Full transparency, I wouldn't even leave one star, that's how disappointed I am. I am not surprised that this business has such low reviews. I called today about a UTV for my yard. I talked with a sales rep, and told him that I didn't want to spend more than 10k. He told me about a machine for 9,500, and then proceeded to send me a bunch of pictures. I said let's go, and next thing I know the actual price was 13k plus. I then received a call from Jose, and when I questioned him about the extra 3k plus, I heard his "trainer" in the background say, "groceries" to which he started telling me that it is like groceries...there are extra fees. The service shop is an absolute mess. Brought in a tire Tuesday. Was told it would be done Wednesday morning, so I left work early but ended up in 2 hrs of traffic so I could be there in time to pick it up. Turns out they didn't get to it. I was like okay. While at least they'll have all day tomorrow and I can get it Friday morning. I call towards the end of day Thursday and they still haven't gotten it but he says they will and I can get it Friday morning. I go in Friday morning before work and they haven't started. I have to go to work now and I can't get back in time and I missed a motorcycle trip with my friends because of this. If they would have been clear from the start I could have gone somewhere else. Instead they lied every day saying they were gonna do something and never did. Finally got it late Saturday afternoon. I think they gave me a little lost count on one of the tire mounts. What a joke. Okay, lets start off with i wasn't very happy with how long it took My application for a motorcycle it took one Full day for them to do a credit check and get me approved. just seemed like they weren't doing anything, but really they were so I put my application in at 10am and it took them until closing time to get me approved but when I went to the dealership tge next day he sat down with me and explain what he did and everything and showed me what all the other dealerships did that i apply at be for going here and why I didn't get approved with the other ones it was because they only ran my credit once and only gave it to one bank and said I wasn't approved this dealership I actually looked at my credit and gave it to banks that they knew what was going to get me approved not just send it to anyone. I took my two KTM adventure bikes in to have the valve clearances checked and this is what I got when I picked them up. See pics. The 990 had loose bolts, wrong bolts, missing washers, a missing lower tank bushing, and a cracked fuel vent line under the seat that didn't manifest itself until I filled it up when I got home and it sprayed fuel all over me. The 1190 had multiple error codes on it and I didn't know about them until I got it home and rode it. Multiple 90 miles round trips to Karl Malone Powersports and the problems haven't all been resolved. read more

Bought a waverunner from them. The negotiation on price was super annoying. They were all over the place on price, hid much of their profits in other items like registration fees, mark up in msrp on trailer and machine. I was able to negotiate a little with them on price but it still kind of makes me mad that they try to hide their profits on other line items. Just tell me you need X for your profit margin. When the machine and trailer were ready for pickup a week later, it took them 45 minutes of me waiting to be able to pay with cash and sign the paperwork. The sales guy did not know much about the machine. I specifically asked about the oil and he was not sure where the dipstick was. Said it was ready to go, and be driven, that a full pre-delivery inspection was done. He put the trailer on my truck but I had to tell him that the trailer was not properly on the ball hitch and fixed it myself. When I got the machine home, first thing I did was open it up and read the manual. There were tags left inside the machine with title "Important notice to Dealer" which were left unread and as part of the pre-delivery checklist. One of them was on the oil dipstick and said do not fill with oil but check the oil level. Which I did and it was wayyyyyy low on oil, like it did not even barely register on the dipstick. Those tags were supposed to be removed from the machine after the checklist was done. Also I bought a double trailer and they forgot to hook up the crank for the other side of the trailer only for the one side with the waverunner, so I had to go back to the dealer and get the parts and put it on myself. Just not a great experience over all. Just felt like I was getting second class service for a first class price. read more

The system does not seem to allow zero stars. Pity. That would be a fair and accurate review. New vehicle sales at Provo (sales person Hunter) was good but after that everything went badly wrong. I ordered a windshield washer and wiper in December last year. Poor communications from their spares department and delivery dates kept going backwards. So I called in to see them in person. Riley seemed initially to be helpful but after that 3 phone calls to him got nowhere. He decided to make himself unavailable for customer calls and would not come to the phone. On my 3rd phone call I had the misfortune of speaking with Lyndsay who succeeded only in making the situation worse. Lyndsay prefers talking over customers rather than listening and providing solutions to badly overdue spare parts. In frustration I asked to speak with the Dealer Principle. Not in or not available. Surprising that. Who can I speak to at Can Am? No names or contact details from Lyndsay. I gave up and went to their sister dealership in Heber. Hard to imagine this is the same company. Adam found the wiper kit the same day and it was fitted within 24 hours. Karl Malone Heber achieved in 24 hours what Karl Malone Provo failed to achieve in 4 months. It's a shame. The vehicle (Can Am Maverick R) is fantastic. Karl Malone Heber is great with fantastic service and results. Karl Malone Provo? Hopeless. Clueless. Rude even. They make further purchases of a Can Am unlikely and in my eyes tarnish the whole Maverick experience. read more

From the moment we stepped through the door and began working with Marty and Bryan to the moment we bought our new RZR these guys had our best interest in mind. Not once were they pushy, not once did they try to sell us on things we didn't need, not once did the act bothered by our millions of questions. In fact they did just the opposite embraced us as one of their own. They assisted us with some accessories we wanted and advised us against others we thought we wanted. They were honest , to the point and not your average salesman. As I said in the beginning they are part of our family now and we feel we are part of theirs. We have had our RZR in since for routine service and maintenance and the same can be said about their service department. "Changed engine oil and filter, checked air filter and found cover to be dirty, cleaned and replaced air filter, checked wheel spacers and nuts were torqued to spec, checked the rear tires and found that the bead lockers were starting to loosen and needed re-torqued, retorqued and aired up to pressure proper, checked the seat and found it to be mounting as intended. Can send it Pennys to get reupholstered if customer wants. Can replace if the customer wants." So I was skeptical about coming here right from the start, but had few options since Utah Power Sports was gobbled up by Karl Malone. Basically, I paid 389.56 for oil and air filter change. I asked them to specifically check the tires as both back tires were leaking. There solution was to put air in it. Gee, I wish I would have thought of that. 62.99 for 5w40 oil kit. My truck take 8qts and it cost less than that. The worst part was when I asked the service person if that that was a fair price to basically inspect the ATV they sat there with a dumb look on there face and said nothing. Service sucks and Customer Service sucks. In the end it was my fault, I should have heeded the other reviews and stuck with my gut. My advice, spend the couple hundred dollars on the tools you need and teach yourself how to do it. read more

Karl Malone Provo is an unending pain in the neck to deal with. 9 out of 10 phone calls end up in an extremely lengthy hold that rarely get picked up. Service department specifically is as unreliable as they get. They regular commit to calling the customer back with an answer and never do. They need to be repeatedly called in order to get anywhere. 2 years in a row I've snow checked a brand new $20k+ snowmobile and have regretted it both times. Cannot recommend these guys and would highly recommend finding an alternative dealer to anyone consider these guys. read more

Bought a brand new bike here. It's been a piece of crap since I've bought it. Never has start. Never been laid on its side. Take it back. 3 and a half months to find a valve to replace. Was told over the phone 300 bucks, after getting the run around of terrible communication for another month. Then show up and it's 583 for labor and 157 in parts., 736 for crap. I've had multiple experiences with the place, trying to get parts, oil, etc. All of there stuff is way over priced and charge a restocking fee for returns. An example is quart of oil that costs $11 anywhere else is up charged to over $23 after taxes. The ridiculous prices are on everything in the store. Polaris rzr has 2 recall notices on my machine. I've tried a dozen times to schedule the recall maintenance for my machine and the regulatory service that is part of the warranty we purchased and have been ghosted every time. I've requested a phone call to service my machine and 4 months later no call. I've called them to only be told they don't have parts for the services requested! What does that even mean? You are a "gold" service location with no expectations to service any machine you sell. How does one go about getting their damn machine serviced by this company? Don't by the extended warranty from them, they obviously won't honor it. read more

This place is a joke. Took my CF Moto into them that is basically a new machine just a little over 100 miles on it in November because of power loss and wouldn't start. Now after three months in the shop. I had to call them again since they will not call you with updates. Had a terrible experience with this organization, for three days I have been working on buying a bike from salesman PHIL and sales manager Markus. everything was going perfect. I contacted my personal shipper and arranged pick up. As a contract was being written Phil called me stating the GM cancelled my deal. I briefly spoke to him an he stated he won't ship a bike unless the buyer is there to receiver it. Whats the point of a shipper? Why was the sales department not aware of this bogus policy? Maybe the most incompetent...or worse...dealership I've ever been associated with. I own 6 snowmobiles, 5 ATV's and a UTV. All Polaris machines and so I've dealt with a lot of dealers. I know what I'm talking about. Karl Malone Powersports diagnosed my ATV as needing a $1200 fuel pump and gas tank. I said "no" and gave the machine to a local high school shop class. The high school kids cleaned the mud off, replaced a single fuse and it now runs perfectly! A FUSE. Total cost was exactly 30 cents....30 freaking cents. To their credit, Karl Malone promised to refund their diagnostic fee. But I won't be back...for anything...nor should you. read more

I bought a RZR from this dealership (different owner/name) in 2017 and it was a great experience. I went back in March 21 to buy another RZR and had a totally different experience. Karl Malone himself must be going broke because that's how I was treated. I tried to purchase a RZR XP Turbo 4 S. They wanted MSRP to order one. I get that based on demand. The thing that made me walk was the fact they wanted $1,400 for shipping, $700 for assembly, $700 for a street legal kit plus over $300 for doc fees. Absolutely ridiculously! I went to another dealer, closer to SLC, and got the machine for less than MSRP & the above additional costs were half as much. My son and I each bought a machine. I'd recommend shopping around. Not sure where the sales manager learned the trade (not sure of his name but he was from Wisconsin) but he could have made some money that day. Instead, he made nothing AND lost future customers. Update - 8-2022 These guys are close so I thought I'd drop in to buy a small part and see if anything has changed. I bought an e clip which cost $3.15. Pretty costly but whatever, it's $3. I looked at my receipt a little later and saw the part was $1.89 and there was a "Logistical Fee" of $1.03 added. No signs indicating an added fee anywhere. So I have to pay them an additional fee in order to buy highly marked up items from them? Nothing has changed, and oh, the same sales manager was there. I did take it back as a matter of principle and got one at Ace for $.40. Buyer beware!!!!!! read more

My Polaris Ranger needed a service and had a leaking water pump seal so I took it in to have these things taken care of. This they did do. After two months the water pump seal was leaking again we had not put 20 miles on this ranger I took it Back in to find out that they have a 30 day warranty on their service. I left the ranger with them after a month of not herring from them I called the part had just gotten their they told me it would be done the following week another month went by with no word from them. I stopped in to find that it had fallen through the cracks and they had not even started on it they would let me know. I am not impressed and will not be returning here! read more

While the staff were very nice, some of them were very inexperienced and not very knowledgeable about their products. I dealt with three different salesmen and one finance gentleman and only one person would text or call me back when they said they would. The other three left me hanging. So I ended up driving to Rexburg Motorsports in Rexburg Idaho and bought a snowmobile from them, plus Rexburg only wanted $470 in shipping costs where Karl Malone wanted over $1000 for freight. Ordered a machine 8 months ago from a store they purchased in springville UT. The machine came in I was paying cash so I asked them to have the paperwork ready for me to sign, I was in a hurry they assured me it was all ready to go. After standing around for awhile I asked the guy what are we waiting for? where's the paperwork? He said I have to see some other guy I said here's the check get me the paperwork and let me sign it. He refused I walked outside and stood there not believing how bad their customer service was then I remembered I tried to purchase a couple snowmobiles from their heber store last yr and since they lied about the price to me they told me it was xprice plus tax in the end they tried to nail me for shipping assembly and a bunch of other crap which any human alive would assume would be in the total price not in the tax price. Out of principal I didn't buy the snowmobiles. The walked out after being there for over an hr said there were ready for me. I told them to take the wave runner off. Bought a dirt bike 3 weeks ago from this location. Sales staff is all pretty new so they aren't sure what they are doing. I did not love the over all experience from knowledge of products, price negotiations, and pressure for warranty to name a few. I went back into the dealer today to buy a second brand new bike. The bike had some large cosmetic scratches on the sticker and fenders. They would not budge $100 off MSRP. I called another local smaller family owned dealer on the spot and they priced the same bike for $1,000 less so I walked out of Karl Malone, went to this other dealer, and just came home with my new bike and found a great Kawasaki dealer in American Fork/Provo area. Karl Malone had zero concern with having my repeat business or a favorable option of the dealer. Take your business elsewhere! read more

In all cases "Bryan'" and Escape's sales service has been superlative and they are my best choice for Yamaha, Star and Suzuki. Escape and I have built an excellent business relationship over the past few years and I am very pleased with their pre and post sales service. Escape's receptionist is probably not the glowing bastion of warmth and welcoming hospitality, but Escape has proven to be my best choice in Northern Utah among the competition. read more

I'm not sure what happened to this place. They used to be great. I will never buy here again. There was zero customer service. There were cross threaded screws and loose parts on a brand new general. The rugged radio system doesn't work correctly. We still haven't even received the owners manual. This place is not interested in making sure anything is done right. Just to be very clear this review is on the parts and service departments. **update 5-4-19. just found out the rugged radio system was only part of what we paid for. the other half was "out of stock" so they had to order it. still have not received the "other half" of the rugged radio system. still no owner manual for the general or the radio. I would think since between the two purchases that came to about sixty thousand that they would be prompt in making sure something was done about these issues......*just saying* I'll update again soon. read more
