Came here to pick up a bike lock while in town and just like all the other cycle gears I've been to, everyone was super welcoming & helpful. Because we knew what we wanted, the visit was quick but, very pleasant. The staff is great, nice selection of gear & services-- Very much recommended.

Not the most organized or clean or shiny place on the planet, in fact it's the patina that really gives it the charm. No, it's not that part that makes it difficult. It's the part where you try to separate the shop from the owner. In the end, you just can't separate Caesar's from Caesar. Caesar is a larger than life character whose eclectic life and personality just oozes out of his shop. He's been a fixture in Midvale City there on State Street and a giant in the SLC motorcycle community. As an outsider to that community, even I know who the guy is. Visit. Meet him. You won't forget it. In fact, he's such a big personality that he's been immortalized by UDOT. Next time you go underneath the TRAX bridge at about 7900 South on State Street, look over on the east side of the road to the concrete wall. There are cut metal art pieces depicting Midvale's past like the old Sharon Steel site. At about the middle of the concrete you'll see a dude on an old school bicycle (the kind where you sit atop a giant wheel) and he has a parrot on his shoulder. That's an homage to Caesar, who has been known to ride an old school bicycle with a parrot on his shoulder. So yes, do check out the shop. But at this point know that it's as much about the "Caesar" in the title as it is about the "Motorcyle Parts & Service" part.

It's painfully obvious now that there is no quality control over his guys. They during this time ordered the wrong piston and somehow discovered that 30 minutes before I was supposed to pick it up?I came to find out all my bike needed was a new stator ($150 part) When I called back to explain the issue Josh was rude and wouldn't do anything to make it right. Terrible communication throughout the whole time my bike was there declined calls, ignored messages and excuses after excuses on why my bike was taking so long. When I finally got my bike back it had missing screws exhaust pipe falling off and still didn't run. Wouldn't recommend these guys to anyone! I brought in a '99 HD Super Glide Sport to have some maintenance done, as well as many wear and tear parts replaced. This bike was fast, super fun to ride, and was passed down by my dad to me. He was the original owner. To make a long story short, the bike I brought in was a sports car, and what I got back was a Toyota Prius. I spent over $2,000, mostly in labor, to have them replace worn parts and do the overall maintenance on my bike. I was patient as they spent several MONTHS trying to get it to "run right" by messing around with the carburetor. I finally got the call on August 15, 2024, that it's ready to roll. I went in and picked it up on August 22. Let me tell you, it was the most disappointing ride home of my life. I almost wanted to turn around and go right back to the shop because of how underpowered my bike had become. It felt like I was riding a moped. Every single gear has been completely botched. The bike has absolutely no power. I'm not confident that I could even take the bike on the freeway; that's how bad it performs. Naturally, I called back the very next day (8/23) and explained my frustrations about how the bike I brought in is worse than the bike I got back. I was told that if I brought it back, I'd have to pay another $800+ to have even MORE work done on it to try and correct the mistake that this shop made. Even then, they couldn't guarantee that it would be fixed. Is this truly how you do business in 2024? If so, I would highly recommend staying away from this shop. My bike was there for far too long, and for what? To run like a gas-powered scooter? Absolute insanity. At least own up to your mistake and get my bike right (however long that takes) without making me pay for it. If I had known that my bike would have ended up like this, I would have never brought it by in the first place. Additionally, I've noticed that this business only responds to positive reviews and ignores the negative ones. This is very telling of how they handle customer complaints and issues.

I'm really disappointed with my experience here due to pricing and lack of transparency…read more I was initially charged $200 to disassemble my forks. When I later brought them back already fully disassembled and provided all required parts, I was charged $412 just for reassembly, plus an additional $35 in "parts" charges, despite the fact that all parts used were my own. In total, this came out to around $700 for the disassembly and reassembly of forks that were already OFF the bike. That pricing simply does not make sense. I've previously worked in a motorcycle shop and as a service writer, so I'm familiar with standard labor practices. Reassembly typically takes less time than disassembly, and when customers provide parts or bring components in pre-disassembled, labor time and parts charges are usually reduced. None of that was reflected here. I was never given a clear shop labor rate, the receipt was extremely vague, and when I asked for clarification on how the charges were calculated, I was not provided any meaningful details beyond "that's just how we do it." For a professional service shop, this lack of transparency and the final cost feel unreasonable. Customers deserve clear labor rates, itemized receipts, and pricing that reflects the actual work performed. Unfortunately, that was not my experience, and I would not recommend this shop.

Right now as they're still in the process of finalizing everything with the remodel and the new lineup, things are a little hectic and not everything is in stock, but they've done their best and have ordered more than a few parts for me already. I also had a concern with my bike and wanted it looked at before I took it out on a week-long trip. They were super busy and still managed to squeeze it into a bay for a small adjustment to help me out. Ask for Chris if you need parts - great guy to work with.
