Both times surprisingly the camera was not pointed at my unit. I suspect the manager was in on it, and I don't know if she works there anymore. It wasn't just my unit that was broken into, it was many. One man had just moved here from Arizona and he had over 20 thousand dollars worth of firearms and safes stolen. Do not give these criminals your business.

We rented a unit during the summer of 2021 and everything was fine until we got our first rain and our storage unit leaked. Upon letting management know about our issues they told us we could move into another unit. After getting help and moving our items into another unit we found out the hard way that that unit also leaked. Management told us that they could not fix the problem while it was raining and cold and they are not responsible for any damages that may have happened due to the leak. We finally moved out of mountain view mini storage permanently January of 2022. I definitely would not recommend mountain view mini storage for storing anything that needs to be dry.

Mostly automated in terms of picking a unit etc. The down side is…read morebecause there is nobody at the office to manage the units in person, the doors are always frozen closed after a snow storm. The snow is plowed between the units but the snow is then pushed up against all the sliding unit doors. This freezes which makes it impossible to lift the door open. They should either make sure the snow clearing company clears the snow in front of each unit or the manager of the site should do this. I have been locked out twice already and unable to access my stuff.
