I was supposed to get a new CPAP as part of the Phillips Respironics remediation. The website said the process should be complete on 2022. Of a replacement hasn't been received, contact the company you received the original device from. Well... that's great except I've called half a dozen times over the last several weeks and no one answers. And apparently the voice mailbox is full so I can't leave a message. I tried emailing the person I was in contact with to order replacement parts years ago and that email bounced. It's beyond frustrating and very unprofessional. read more

This is the second sleep study I've ever had done. The previous one was over 10 years ago - a very awkward set-up in a hospital room big enough to have a tennis tournament in... and they had too much light, etc. and I had to sleep in a hospital bed. This place was such a surprise! Each person having the sleep study done is in their own private bedroom. Even though this is in an office building, they set up the rooms so they feel like small, luxury hotel rooms. The beds have leather padded headboards and footboards. The sheets, pillow cases and blankets are laundered between each visit (I saw them stripping beds and bagging for laundry as I was leaving). Nice, luxuriant pillows, sheets and blankets. I brought one memory foam pillow with me, but they had lots of extra pillows to use in the room for patients to use. The bedside table had a landline phone, towels (in case I wanted to shower in the morning) and a breakfast bar for when I woke up... and bottled water. The folks who set you up with the electrodes, etc. are very professional and make you feel at ease. They really do a good job. I wish I could remember the name of the woman who helped me - she was awesome. The rooms each come with a wall-mounted TV with the Dish network - all channels... so I was able to mellow out before I got ready to sleep. I do not sleep well in strange places... and knowing there's a camera watching you as you sleep is creepy! But, I felt comfortable enough here that I was able to get some decent sleep. While I had the TV on, my aide turned off the light and said goodnight - and in about 30 minutes, I had the TV off and I was out like a light myself. My only problem with this place is the loudness of the doors when they open and close. I am a very light sleeper - especially when sleeping in a strange place. Any time another patient would open or close their door to use the restroom or whatever was going on, it would wake me up - because you could hear the heavy wood door hit the metal door frame with a loud wooden clunk. For all the money they've invested in bedding and ambiance, they should invest in some felt padding for the door jambs and quieter door mechanisms. I was awakened at least 5 times through the night from the sound of another person's room door opening or closing. Before hopping into the bed, I asked what I needed to do if I had to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night. There are at least 10 electrodes attached to you - legs, chest, head and face. They have a pulse monitor on your finger - I was told if I just took that off, they'd be in immediately to see what I needed and help me disconnect so I could use the bathroom and then come back to bed. At about 4:30 a.m., I rolled over a bit (so I was still kinda sorta awake) and one of the attendants came in faster than greased lightning. Apparently I unhitched something when I moved, because it appeared to them that the pulse monitor had come undone. It was on and still attached to my finger. She popped in 3 separate times in quick succession because it was still giving a reading of no pulse... so even though I didn't have to go the bathroom in the middle of the night, I do know they will come in immediately if they think you need them. At this point, they said there was enough data recorded if I wanted to go ahead and leave instead of trying to sleep for another 30 minutes, so I did decide to bale at that point. The directions I got via e-mail to this place stated that there was a parking garage. There is - but patients cannot park in there. I found this unsettling - as my appointment was at night. You have to park in the not-so-well-lit lot behind the parking garage, because every single slot in the the nearly empty garage is marked "RESERVED - WILL TOW." I don't think this is safe, especially for women - walking into a building after nightfall while carrying pillows and blankets. It so makes you a target, in my opinion. read more

I contacted them for parts for my CPAP. The didn't get be back to me for 10 days. By that time I was back at home in Ohio.

Friendly, knowledgeable technicians. Clean rooms. The upstairs staff is great! Waited downstairs at the corperate office for some time when returning the device. No one at reception so I had to call. Waited on someone to pick up the phone. Waited a LONG time for someone to come out. That little critter looked like he was on some serious drugs. Stick to dealing with the sleep clinic upstairs. read more

I had 2 sleep studies there back in 2006 and my experience was just fine. No problems and they checked on me a several times when they thought I needed something. I just called today to get a different mask and they said they will call me back as my records are in archive. Will post again if any issues with that. Update, they called me back and said my new insurance would not cover me anymore. They did go out of their way to search for a company that would help me and called me back with the info. I was very impressed they went out of their way and got me in touch with a company they helped me. Very professional. read more

This place will give you nightmares. I should have known this place blew the night I did my sleep study a few years ago. I waved the lamp at the camera to get the attendant to unhook me for a trip to the boys room. I had to finally yell for him to come in. He told me to sit up if I needed anything and he would be right in. I was the only one there that night. Since then, every time I have to order CPAP supplies, it takes at least 10 phone calls to get it done. What a bunch of fools. They also bring out my inner Naomi Campbell. They need a good slapping. read more

Do you like horror movies? Games like Silent Hill? If so, this is the place for you. Let's get started! So I pull into the driveway and notice a sign that says the entrance is in the back. Drive on around to the back and notice a brightly-lit parking garage. The ONLY signage says "handicapped parking only in garage." Looking up at the building, it looks closed...aside from the flickering fluorescent light and TV on never-ending static. I'm starting to get goose bumps. With no clue where to go, I park in the pitch-black lot and stumble my way into the garage. Oh cool, an elevator. Now tell me this isn't creepy: the elevator light is on and the doors are open, like IT'S BEEN WAITING FOR ME. I head up to the first floor, and step out into a darkened medical office building. The only sounds are my footsteps and...the echoing sound of classical music in a minor key. It's almost as if someone went way out of their way to make this the worst experience someone who is already nervous about a sleep study could possibly have. Finding no live people, I look for a sign that might point me in the right direction. STAT medical! Awesome! I just need to follow this arrow...out the front door. Every hallway I try takes me to a dead end. All the doors have padlocks on them. At this point, I decided a sleep study wasn't going to happen for me tonight and high-tailed it out of there before I was murdered with a chain saw. read more

Having never done a sleep study before, I was pretty apprehensive going to sleep in a medical building. Wasn't sure how much sleep I would actually get. When I got there, it was, of course, night-time and there were no other people around. When I checked in, they were really nice, and showed me to my room, which surprised me. It was very homey, like a bedroom in a house. It put me so much more at ease. They explained the procedure, what to do if I needed to get up, how to get their attention, etc. I was very comfortable, overall, as much as I could be in such a situation. I found the staff to be very friendly and helpful, especially for me going for my first time. They were just as great the second time I went. Would totally recommend them. read more

I had two sleep studies done in July. The first thing I can say is the room was set up nice. The problem I had was there was no sound control. Every time one of the other patients in other rooms had a problem they would use a intercom and it was loud. Plus one of the workers was having a phone conversation and talked very loud. The only other thing I can suggest is do not buy your equipment from them. They only have one supplier and they have a limited supply of masks. The cpap machine I was supplied to purchase, was a lesser model, and I was told that was all the insurance would pay for. The insurance was charged 5 prices for the equipment. I found out later that I could have had better equipment had I have shopped around. read more

Good thing: Easy check-in and nice rooms. Things I didn't care for: 1) They leave all the sticky electrode tabs on you and gauze in your hair. I was so tired when I left that I didn't notice until after I woke up from my nap in the afternoon. My skin was irritated and raw in some areas due to my adhesive sensitivity. 2) Security. Office door is probably locked after last person arrives, but the elevator in parking garage remains operative all night so anyone can come inside while you sleep. The instruction sheet mentioned using parking garage, but you cannot park there unless handicapped. Some people may feel uncomfortable walking in a dark parking lot to the elevator in parking garage while loaded down with pillows and other items. 3) Noise. You can hear everything going on through the doors -- people in rooms next to you snoring, typing, chair moving, and at one point it sounded like a clothes dryer was going. They do provide ear plugs, but I still heard noise. I recommend bringing better ear plugs or go elsewhere if you are a light sleeper. 4) Results Wait Time. I was told someone would call in 1-2 days. After 6 days, I called the office and was told results were ready but nobody had a chance to call yet. 5) High cost. The physician who read results billed insurance $9,125. This did not include facility charge for staying overnight. This was my first study, so maybe this is a normal fee, but it seemed extremely high to me. 6) Cleanliness: Paper products empty when I used restroom the first time. Second time I used restroom, I rummaged through cabinet and replaced products myself. Bedroom area had some trash behind chair. It made me wonder if bed was clean, but it look freshly laundered. In summary: They told me what I expected to hear --- NO sleep apnea or other sleep related issues (my heart doctor sent me to check for possible undetected issues common to cardiac patients). So they did what I feel is an accurate study, but I would not recommend this place. read more

Please think twice before using this company. I have been unhappy with my mask since the night of my study. No choices were offered, but $125.00 charged for I'll fitting mask. I tried several emails, calls and a visit to find a solution. I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and the Sleep Center responded, so I dropped the complaint after they promised me face to face to replace my mask with one that fits. But the manager was lying! She told me I had to wait the full 90 days that insurance required before she could help. I waited. I called, she then said of course she would help me ... for $125.00 OR MORE. read more

This is a terrible facility. The mattresses were saggy, and the sheets were dirty. I found sticky residue, dirt and what appeared to be pubic hair on the sheets. The office staff completely lied to me about my insurance coverage. They guaranteed me by email my new machine would be covered when it wasn't. Absolutely don't use this facility! I got my sleep test and they did not have a mask and told me to come in to the office on Monday so on Monday I went to the office Angie M. waited on me she told me I need an appointment .I told her the they told me to just come in she said they do not do business that way after waiting an hour she saw me. Then I told her they said all I had to do is tell them if my machine was to high and they would turn it down Ha Ha Angie said the tech did not know what they where doing and only the doctor could turn it down so I ask Angie if she could give me the doctors phone number she said they do not have his number. Then I ask her for the mask that I used in my test again she told she would find me a mask I told her it a med. so she gave me a small surprise it did not fix after trying 3 mask on she gave me the one that I had ask for the first time . Again I ask her way did I pay over $6000.00 to be tested by someone who did not know what they where doing . Well it has been one week I still can not used my machine it is to high finaly my doctor has ask for it to be turn down and i do not want to go see her. I have been using an cpap for ten years .And I well not use them again the front office dose not know what the back office is doing and to have a co-worker to tell you how bad they are is very bad business.
