I went in for an issue, the doctor got fixated on what he thought it was, even though I told him there is not way it could be what he was thinking. He gave me medicine for it anyway, ordered bloodwork to confirm and of course the bloodwork came back negative as I knew it would. Then when the girl called to tell me it was negative, all she said was keep taking the antibiotics that the doctor gave you. I asked her so you want me to continue taking antibiotics, but you have not idea what for, you don't know what is wrong with me. All that was said was yes. Not we can run more tests to see what is actually going on, but yes. BTW, the antibiotics did nothing but gave me other issues. Stay clear from this place. Edited: I have since seen another doctor who took the time to order more than one test (a test on something I told the doctor it couldn't be) and found there are serious health issues. She had him laughing and smiling through the whole physical, which is no small feat with a middle school 6th grader. Amberly was our nurse and made the visit easy and quick and don't get me started on the front-desk nurse Cyndi! She helped us over two years ago when we were desperate with a more emergency situation (that they still saw us for even though it was 30 minutes before closing time on a Saturday and that appt took over an hour). This location was under a different name and company back then, but two years later and she STILL remembered us when we came in today! Not only that but she remembered what we'd come in for previously and made our checkin seamless and easy. I also LOVED the ease of scheduling and how online you can see how many people are in line before you schedule, set up your appointment, and check-in online before you even get in the car (along with telling them how long of a drive you have to get there) and then you fill out paperwork on your phone on the car ride over so by the time you walk in you are ready to go! I never get service like this at my regular doctor's or our pediatrician's offices - we had one person ahead of us and we were in and out in under 45 minutes - and at a price of $35 for a physical, this will be our go to place from here on out. The nurses/techs were very nice, and the doctor took me seriously and listened to everything I had to say. Sometimes I have had to wait 15-30 minutes or more because their beds were full, or because they had someone who was sicker than me they needed to see first, or if an ambulance came in, which is totally understandable. This is an emergency room, so whoever is having the most serious situation takes precedence. I would recommend this standalone ER for anyone who is having a medical situation that can't wait to see their family doctor or go to an urgent care (like if you broke a bone or something). But I will say that if you think you are having a stroke or heart problem you would want to try and go to a real hospital, because if you check in here for that sort of thing, they will stabilize you and all, but then immediately call an ambulance to transport you to an actual hospital with a cath lab like Lakepointe. I know because that happened to my friend's mom, and she got taken care of and is fine now, but she did get a bill for the ambulance ride, when if she had just gone to the regular hospital ER instead, she wouldn't have had to be transported. But if it's a life or death situation, then you can definitely go here because, I mean, it is an emergency room after all and they'll make sure you stay alive. It is bringing up a lot of emotion to even write this because of the way I was treated. I came in, nearly being carried by my husband because I could barely walk. When I got to the room, I was bawling, shuddering with tremors, and could barely get a word out, let alone explain what was going on. Instead of listening to my husband, he decides to force me to speak and gets irritated when I can't get much out. The nurse asks me what typically works for me in situations like these because I also suffer from multiple chronic and painful illnesses, so I answered that it just depends. Sometimes a medication will work for certain pain, sometimes it won't, and I didn't know how else to answer. So they ask about Norco. I said no, because I'm already taking that daily for those chronic illnesses, so it's not likely to be effective. The doctor ignores that, gives me 1 Norco, which was no different from what I had already tried before going in. I told him after 20 minutes that nothing changed and he sent in the nurse, who then told me he would give me something for anxiety and to relax. Bitch, I was NOT having anxiety. I was crying from excessive pain and I hope you experience every single BIT of pain I do every single day. You know exactly who you are, Mr. Football is More Important Than the Patients I am PAID to give a shit about. So, we obviously left 'against medical advice' when he refused to even speak to my husband, and he had to practically carry me out in tears again to go start the process OVER again elsewhere, where I got immaculate care. SO, anyone thinking of going here, save your time and money and drive out to Greenville's ER if you have insurance. Trust and believe these people do not care one iota about you. You should absolutely fire the useless doctor you've got up there. Seems like maybe the little tyke would have preferred to be in the NFL. He should have availability to watch it 24/7 because he's the worst doctor I've ever been to, which is saying a whole hell of a lot with my medical history. My review is regarding the treatment I received today from the receptionist (Lailani?) Upon checking in, she promptly informed me that I was no longer was covered by my insurance. Since it is the beginning of the new calendar year, I pulled out my new insurance card and told her that I was covered and I had verified this information with my insurer prior to coming to the office. She didn't look at my insurance card; instead, she turned her computer screen toward me and coldly stated, "well my computer says you're not covered." She then stated that she would enter me as a self-paying patient. I told her that I was covered and I would not be paying out-of-pocket for the visit. I asked her to call the number on the back of my card to verify my information. She rudely informed me that wasn't her job and that she would not check me in. I immediately asked her to let me speak to someone with more authority which seemed to agitate her. She finally took my insurance card with her to speak to someone behind the counter. Shortly she returned and without saying anything to me, she began keying something into her computer. Within a few seconds, she told me what I already knew--my insurance was valid. At no point did she apologize to me or acknowledge that she was in error. I understand people can have bad days, but her blatant rudeness and lack of professionalism were uncalled for.

I will never return to this doctor's office, and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone, not even my enemy.
