Anyway, this morning at about 10:30, he called to ask if it was alright if he started heading this way (of course! ). He got here shortly before 11:30am and got the job done (also had us flush our toilets to make sure there was no blockage - the last people who pumped our tank did not have us do this) as well as giving us a recommendation for a guy that could straighten a pipe that needs fixing and replace the deteriorating covers to our tank. He was very polite on the phone and a good guy in person. We really appreciate the way he made sure to go the extra mile in making sure we were satisfied!

Very unprofessional! My mother called this company and they…read morescheduled her service for this past Saturday, September 12th. The guy came out but brought out a truck too big, I'm guessing this could have been fixed that day but the guy that came out admitted to not wanting to work because of the Texas game! If they didn't want to work on an important day to them, why waste peoples time?! My mom being nice, understood and rescheduled for Monday. The guy came in at 630 (unbeknownst to me that they make calls that early) so I questioned why he was there so early. The guy never once looked me in the face and told me, "yall find someone else". Literally left speechless because I wasn't rude, just unsure of what was going on. A conversation could've been had but the emotional man didn't care! We have 2 septics on the property and I will NEVER call him out again. Too bad he was recommended by our septic guys who check it out yearly. I will make sure everyone knows what a douchebag that guy was. Edited to add: after speaking with family further.. My grandfather mentioned that the guy that came from Anytime septic had noticed that their septic pump switch had been turned off that Saturday, when Eric first came out. He didn't even work on the septic, so unsure why he did that! Had it continued to go unnoticed, this could have caused further damage. My brother also noticed the same size truck Eric brought Saturday was also the same truck he brought that Monday. That just goes to show you he didn't want to help us. We are unsure why we were treated this way and that is why this review is posted. We stand by our review!

We live in SW Austin and needed our old gas water heater replaced that was over 20 years old!…read more We went through six plumbing companies for bids and two of them wanted to skip city regulations to save us money but this option is a huge mistake short and long term after doing my research. Home Fires, Co2 poisoning and busted water pipes have caused lost of life and properties over the years. The City of Austin has added these home regulations over the years for the purpose of saving lives and properties. We contacted One Call Plumbing and they came to give us a bid. Mr Tony Martinez did not take short cuts to safety and made a signed bid of over a thousand of dollars less than the highest bidder. The others were slightly over priced but were eliminated because of attitude and not too specific on their bids. One Call Plumbing owner Tony and his son Jonathan were courteous, professional and knowledgeable in their craft. The quality of work and safety precautions were exemplary and their water heater removal and safety installation price were Fantastico! Tony is an Austin Living Plumber Legend.

TL;DR -  Fixed most likely broke my washing machine when investigating a leak in a unit below and…read moreis charging me for a "courtesy" visit. I live in a complex that regularly uses Fixed's services. My HOA asked if I would agree to have employees from Fixed come into my unit to investigate a leak in the unit 2 floors below. After making arrangements to be home for the appointment, they had to reschedule. I wasn't able to rearrange my schedule again and so made arrangements for a building staff member to let the employees in and stay with them throughout the visit. The staff member reported to me that they ran my washing machine and paused the cycle around a dozen times and concluded that the leak was not coming from my unit. My washing machine never worked again after that. My property manager contacted Fixed to ask them to come look at my machine. They refused. She asked them to reconsider and they sent an email saying they would send someone out, but that if they determined it wasn't their fault, I would have to pay for "it". I assumed they meant a new washer, not the visit itself. The email was full of typos and grammatical errors - not exactly clear communication. I assumed this was a courtesy visit since I let them into my unit as a courtesy and they are the preferred vendor for my complex. I had a GE technician come out who said there is no way to prove that Fixed didn't break my machine. A couple months later I got a bill for $85 from Fixed for their visit. This after spending nearly $1,000 between a new washing machine and the GE technician visit where it was confirmed it would be more expensive to repair than replace my washer. Not only am I and the building staff member fairly certain they broke my machine, now they are charging me. My property manager went back and asked them to drop the charge and they refused. Talk about salt in the wound.
