The Short Ribs were fall off the bone tender, juicy with a great tasteful gravy. The Mashed potatoes were cooked perfectly not sure what was all in them however I would definitely get them again and again! Service: Absolutely hands down the best customer service. Upon arrival we were greeted warmly and promptly. Our waitress was so sweet and polite also attentive but not pestering. My first visit the place was beautifully appointed, we were greeted warmly and sat pretty quickly. Our server was lovely. We started with cocktails which were great. As for our meal the food was just lacking, everything was missing flavor. I ate a couple bites but decided early on that it was a miss for me. On my most recent visit I actually ordered the 6oz. Ribeye with whipped potatoes and asparagus (so I thought and to be fair I could be wrong) but came with broccolini instead. I'm not a fan of broccolini and I'm not sure I would have ordered the meal that included it. In total it took about an hour to receive my food I kid you not. I inquired about it a couple times with the bartender who walked back to the kitchen to check. Each time I was assured it was coming. I was served what can only be called chargrilled hotdog buns as I waited. Maybe not actual hotdog buns but looks and texture wise? Hot dog buns lol. Super charred and dry no butter no olive oil just grilled hot dog buns. So bizarre. I think the bartender forgot to put the order in hence the long wait. When it arrived my ribeye had been butterflied to cook quicker (which I can only assume by the appearance). The steak was cooked perfectly, so no complaints there. The meat wasn't particularly seasoned and look people I'm not expecting the stars and the moon, I was starving and I'm a reasonable person so just a pinch of salt and pepper would have done the trick but for $68 I wanted a better meal. The mashed potatoes were seasoned to perfection so I just ate the under seasoned steak with the perfectly seasoned potatoes and made it work (see totally reasonable lol). And that broccolini? Surprising good so no complaints there. All and all there are just better places to dine. Is the place beautiful? Sure but if I go to a restaurant I want the food to be the star of the show. Not sure I'd try a third time but I'm glad I tried again even if the experience left much to be desired.

We started with the mussels - which were outstanding. Probably the best we've ever had. The creamy, garlicy sauce was so good we considered placing another order. For mains we usually order fish and try to avoid anything fried or cooked from frozen. No worries here! My GF had the Chilean Sea Bass and I ordered the pan seared tuna. (and there were other great options as well) Both were amazing. Fresh and cooked to order. Dessert was an automatic order -- we had tried the Banana Pudding ice cream last time and absolutely had to have that again. Better than I remembered. This place has a great atmosphere, a busy oyster bar and a lively bar with TVs (showing football!!!). Our service was also outstanding. Our server was helpful when ordering and very attentive. Even the food runner was great - we had a question and our server was there in less than a minute with an answer for us. Don't find that level of service much anymore. Great job! Good value for money as well. Overall 5 start meal. See you again soon Becks!

And after almost 20 years on Peach Orchard Road, Roadrunner Cafe has a lot to say. Whenever a meeting involves a meal I try to visit somewhere new and when the other person recommended this I was all in. Some days I go in having combed the menu and have my order ready, other days I just wing it and walk in. This was the latter. It was suggested that I go with the Sampler Platter and when I saw "A meal in itself" as the menu description I knew it was meant for me. Cheese sticks, onion rings, fried mushrooms, chicken wings, and chicken tenders. Don't even think about asking if something can be grilled or anything remotely healthy. You come here to indulge. Also, the tea is Georgia sweet so keep that in mind. Domestics (beer), always $2.75 a pint. And if you somehow have room for dessert be sure to treat yourself to a slice of that Philadelphia Cheesecake. There's plenty of indoor and outdoor seating that will accommodate a larger group and the team here are some of the kindest you'll meet. The house special soup is your broth with a mixed collection of different meats. There was barely any tendon or couldn't say it was much of a meat variety. Wasn't sure what the cut was, but it was very dominant. The rare steak for my soup was pretty chewy & noodles in both soups were blocky. Just in chunks we had to break apart or just bite through the block. Wasn't a fan of how large the onion pieces were and it was fairly oily. The beef fried rice was actually good. Wasn't too oily or dry. Their Pepsi zero tasted very watered down. Plenty of seats to dine in, fairly quiet, and plenty of parking spaces. Service was okay. We saw the waiter twice during our entire meal. It was an overall "okay" experience for us.
