As a retired engineer I was impressed by the quality of the equipment and knowledge of serviceman. When it comes to drains especially old drains on a septic system, experience and knowledge are key to finding the problem. We had the cheap drain services out a couple of times and they created more hidden problems. The first came out and ran a snake from the vents on the roof, this did get the blockage out but knocked in lots of extra debris I found out later when it blocked again weeks later. The next at least had the toilet removed and cleared the blockage but used an auger which knocked off a lot more debris from old cast iron pipe. It was blocked again in about a week. Finally we decided to have it checked with one of the new video snake systems. Rocket came out and via video we realized our drains in some areas were 1/2 full of old debris from the cast iron plus other stuff causing toilet paper and any roughage to block the drain. I recommend paying the little extra first to get a video of the drain, that way you know what is causing the backup!!! Rocket came out with a jet power washing snake and used the video to be sure they were clean when they were done. read more

Last Saturday our bathroom started flooding, showers quit draining, and the toilets were having issues flushing. After a week of dealing with plumbers that our landlord kept hiring that were either unresponsive or would no-show, we finally had one come out and say that he couldn't do anything and that our septic needed to be pumped. Our landlord's maintenance department told us they couldn't get anyone out until Monday, despite our bathrooms flooding and toilets no longer flushing. We have 2 young kids and I am pregnant so we couldn't wait another 3 days. My husband decided to call Rocket Rooter on Friday shortly after 5pm and they scheduled someone to come out the following day. After my experience with plumbers this week I was afraid they wouldn't show up, but they did! They were fairly priced, in and out quickly, and were so patient with my 3 year old that wanted to "help". I discovered a pin hole leak in the service line to my water heater and started research on new units because it was 18 years old. Quickly found what I needed but decided to not make this a DIY project because of the 50 year old plumbing in my Mobil home. After reading several web pages and reviews, I called Rocket Rooter and spoke with Doug. I sent him pictures and shortly had an estimate over the phone. We agreed I would go purchase and pick up the new unit to save time and money, and he would be at my house first thing in the morning. I did, and he was... The old unit was removed, new plumbing installed, and new unit installed... they left my driveway 70 minutes after arriving, everything cleaned up and they took the old unit with them. Excellent company,had septic issues came out same day. Technician Mitch was very knowledgeable in the field. For the size of the job couldn't finish in the same day. Said will be back first thing Monday morning. Received call from Mitch the very next day a Saturday. Said he was on a job in the area and wanted to come finish the job from the day prior.
