If there were 10 stars, that's how I would rate this business. Plumbing issue on a holiday weekend and there was no hesitation coming to the house. The plumber, Evan, was extremely courteous and explained everything he was doing as it happened. The job took 1 1/2 hours and I couldn't ask for a better Plumbing Company. Thank you Prime and thank you, Evan. read more

In the initial call I explained that we needed someone to go on the roof and open a drain from the laundry to the septic tank. The service person was rude and before long said that if they went on the roof, it would be $600. As we have had this done before, we were shocked and ultimately refused but had to pay the $65 just for the trip call. The son usually does this himself but was unable to clear the pipe and the service person should listen to the customer and not assume they have no idea what it costs initially. Another company came later that day and it was $130. I simply forgot that the second company was the one we had used before. Never again. read more

Technician did a great job but he wasn't very customer service friendly. Once repair was completed I couldn't help but to feel like I had been ripped off after receiving the invoice for a repair that took less than an hour to complete. My total bill was north of $600 which included $400+ in service fees. This was the first and last time I will use Prime Pluming. read more

Thw driver was helpful, no mess was left behind, will highly recommend this company and this gentleman, great service read more

Septic field. Promises not kept. Workers don't care about you only getting the job done. Here's how they did their" best." Salesman(Ben) came out and talked to us about his services. He said they would move any plants in the way. Told us where the field would go. He showed the amount room needed. He said his crew would move pavers and replace when done. The crew came and Immediately the excavator person hit and broke a limb on an oak. Started digging and piling dirt behind him. They buried a 3foot tall bottlebrush tree along with bromeliads. Next day they changed their mind where field should be and started digging in new spot. Ripped up plants and buried railroad ties. Broke pavers. Several days After they finished they called for check. Told them they had to cut down the lawn mn they broke(and promised to cut down) by now lawn had been reseeded. They came out with an excuvator and planned to drive it up the freshly seeded grass and stand in the bucket to cut it down. No way. Guys said I hurt his feelings and would not work for me and left. Ben came out and stood on a ladder to take it down. After listing all the things that went wrong he said "well,we did our best". read more

Our potential buyers hired this company to do a septic inspection. They paid good money for a thorough and honest job. That is not what they or we received. The two techs they sent to our home were not experienced enough to know that we have two tanks. This is very common for larger homes. However, they came to the assumption, very prematurely, that our drain field was bad. We then paid for our own inspection and had the very reputable and capable Leesburg Septic out to our home. The first thing he noticed was that the ground around the second tank was undisturbed. He said that experienced inspectors should know that if you open the first tank and do not see a filter, that should prompt you to look for the second tank. Now I understand that mistakes can be made but when you are paying for an inspection you should reasonably expect the team they send to know what to look for. What is more disturbing and disappointing to me is when Prime Plumbing was contacted to tell them about the findings of Leesburg Septic and question the discrepancy, they doubled-down on their error causing even more concern for our buyers. Now we are having to call out a THIRD company to prove their oversight and lack of proper inspection practices. I would not recommend this company on principle alone. **Update** we had a 3rd company come out and do a full inspection of both tanks and dug a hole for the drain field. He actually did it for FREE because he understood that both parties had already paid for 2 inspections... wow! His findings were in agreement with Leesburg Septic. At this point it is very telling, to say the least, what kind of company Prime Plumbing is. All of the undue concern, delay and creating a situation for the buyers to make them question buying the house was completely unnecessary and highly inappropriate. read more

Had an after hours, weekend backup and our home warranty was telling us they could get someone to help us Tuesday. After explaining that a sewer backup was an emergency, they had me contact someone close and they would reimburse me. Called Prime Saturday evening around 8 or so and they were able to schedule me first thing Sunday. Jimmy got there and went to work. It was kind of a pain job due to the clean out being one way the wrong way, but he managed to get it cleared in no time. Great job and great comms. read more

DISHONEST. Charged $847.60 for one hour of work to unclog two toilets. They charged 500.00 for a fiber optic cable to inspect the drain, BUT they never did it. I spoke to Joe the owner and he said he'd send a refund, BUT he never did. read more

Prime Plumbing has been taking care of our well, bathroom fixtures, water heater and filter system for many years now. They are professional, provide top quality workmanship and are always ready to help us with any issues due to plumbing... Tarrence has been out the past few times. He just put in a new water filtering system for us. He explained in detail how it worked and did a great job of installing the equipment. He even called back to make sure everything was working as promised. We would not use any other company due to the quality and value that Prime Plumbing has provided to us. They are the best. A couple of months ago we were having some plumbing issues ie. water backing up in showers & tiolets not flushing properly, we called prime & they sent a tech to pump the septic drain field which he did. He stated that we needed a new dain field & would send me written estimate which he did. when the estimate arrived I was shocked to see that the total for the drain field was over $8000 dollers!!!!!! . And just yesterday the system plugged up again so we called last night and was told a rech would arrive berween 9:22 & 11:22 & an email would be sent verifing the arrial time. the emial arrive & we wated& waited. Finally at 11:45 I caiied the office & was told by the same person I talked to before that there was NO email or record of such appointment& they couldn't come out till WEDSDAY (this from a company that advertises 24 hour seven days a week) . To say I'm p.o. about this isan understatement. One thing for sure is I will never call them again for any reason read more

Very customer friendly service from Prime Plumbing! The quality of the service is excellent, professional and with a dedication to service by their plumbers. The plumber arrived to my residence and seemed very dismissive of my information involving my water leak. Told my home warranty company the water leak was something that is wasn't and cut excess holes on n my way and replaced a perfectly good piper and the water leak was still not fixed. This caused extensive conversations with the home warranty and delay on fixing the problem. The cherry on top of the whole situation, the plumber said he could fix the problem for $750.00. I was appalled and asked the plumber to leave because it was very evident they were out to rip me off. 2 weeks later another company fixed the leak without any issues under warranty. If you deal with them, watch out for the plumber that speaks like he's drunk and lives in a cave. I'm being completely honest when I say this, stay away! read more

I needed a Toilet repair for upstairs bathroom. My Home Warranty Co. sent Prime Plumbing. Guy shows up and says He repaired toilet. It's my Wifes toilet. She is out of town, so I didn't check behind Him. 24-36 hours later water was pouring from my downstairs Ceiling and Walls. Called Prime Plumbing. Came out on New Years Day! Very impressed. Guy took pictures. Admitted Human Error. And, He could not fix problem. Said He would have His Manager call me. I understand Human Error. Things happen. OK. No one from Prime Plumbing ever called me! It has been 1 week. Still have a broken toilet and water damage. I called them. Talked to Office Manager. She was sympathetic to my problem but, offered no resolution! Morale of this story. I had a water leak i believe was within my wall the tech comes out quickly did a test test ( water Pressure test ) and could see there was some kind of water issue happening. The tech must be commissioned based as he proceeds to try and sell me a repipe without even knowing where the leak was coming from for approximatley $9700.00 Also stated as an alternative he would need to bust up my kitchen and gargae floor to locate the leak. $2700.00 I had to call a leak detection company, American Leak Detectors, ( Highly Recomend ) which was fast at arriving and found the leak in the wall in less that 10 minutes, exactly what I had asked to the tech from Prime Plumbing to to do since you could see the water coming from the wall. I then hired LaTow Brothers in Orange City to complete the job. I dont reccomend this company because i had to spend an extrak $400 to get the answer i already knew and that is the leak was in the wall. I called the Customer Service Manager but 10 days later and he still has not returned my call. read more

Unfortunately this company charges a dispatch fee to simply show up for a quote, to fix a toilet is over $500. A typical Handy man charges $110 to install a completely new Toilet plus $170 cost of an average Toilet. They seem to pray on the elderly the BBB has many complaints. I would stay far far away from dealing with this company. They have you sign an estimate authorization only after the works been done. read more

This company I would not suggest they took advantage of a residential property to charge over $600 to do a very simple job of snaking my line. Fortunately I did not buy it , gave them their $65 in cash told them to hit the road. Then I was able to get the job done half the amount. They are taking advantage of the residential people that just need a simple plumbing job done. Bad business bad company bad karma I would not use them for anything. Sorry that there are people in this world that would take advantage of others. read more

Beware. Don't sign anything till you read very fine print on their hard to read tablet. Way over priced and kind of a underhanded operation.

Called in during the busy season. My property is on a very steep angle causing a very difficult time to get a Leitchfield installed with it being approved through the city. I had over a 5 foot drop, in a questionable 2 to 3 dozen truckloads of dirt going through another company. The team came out and inspected the property came up with multiple different avenues to approach the situation, and found the best and cheapest route available. Due to the cities new rules it was a bit pricey, but with their 0% financing this was something that I was able to afford. (we had just bought this house within the year). Their team came out during the delay of waiting for the city for approval and pumped out our septic. From there added three additional inspection points to help further any issues down the road with diagnosing. Their quality of work is above par, their employees had great attitudes and were very responsive as well as explained and informed me as everything continued with the repairs. We ended up needing six truckloads of dirt were they were very diligent in ensuring that all the dirt was placed in the proper positions to not cause additional costs. During this time I received an email stating that there was a raffle for veterans military and first responders I responded to the email and won to free my Moab sink faucets including installation. These were installed in my house during the Leitchfield install and was absolutely free! This is a great team to work with, the only downside is the roots that were pulled up while running the drainage field were properly stacked in piles but we're not loaded up and taken back with them. This causes additional work on the yard cleanup process. (although I'm quite sure that this could be an easy add-on but since they were working so hard on keeping our overall cost down they probably had this removed in order to save us money). The second thing would of been to pack the dirt where they dumped it and drove on the property as we have more of a dirt bike looking backyard. (once again I'm quite sure that this would've been an easy add-on but working so hard and keeping the overall cast down they probably remove this in order to save us money) I 100% would hire prime plumbing again as well as will be using them as our yearly plumber and septic field engineers. Thank you all for the Hard work and dedication in keeping the highest quality of work with a lower price tag. read more

We received same day service for a non-emergency. A plumber was dispatched in about 3 hours to fix a problem with the faucet in our bathtub. Although they didn't have masks, we provided them with masks for them to wear because we had my elderly parent and children in the home. They wore the masks without issue. Plumbers' rates tend to be very expensive but we think the price was reasonable for an hour's worth or work. read more

Blood Suckers! I have used Prime Plumbing at a previous residence to pump out my septic tank and their price was on par with other companies so I called them to come out and give me a repair quote for a 1 1/2" water line that had been broken and was actually already repaired but was leaking a little as the person who repaired it didn't leave the glue to dry long enough before turning on the water. They quoted me over $600!!!! Giving the benefit of the doubt here and determining that they wanted to remove the repair work already done which was two couplers and replace them, that's about $20 worth of material and 30 minutes of time, 1 hour if they wanted to stay and wait for the glue to dry, but even at an hour of time and double my estimate of material its no where near a $600 repair! I am disgusted and concerned for anyone who may call them that does not have the knowledge to say no, that's a rip off! This is a predatory company, do not call them! read more

Called on the weekend due to toilet backing up. Technician said he cleared the pipes and that the problem was a full septic tank. They wanted more money to pump the tank, so I had a different company come on Monday, when they opened it the tank was not full, and the level was where it was supposed to be. They pumped it anyway. I tried the toilets again, and they immediately started backing up, when I called prime plumbing and explained everything , they said they don't warranty their services, and I would have to pay for them to come out again. They also lied saying they cleared the pipes from the septic clean out, only problem is my septic doesn't have a clean out. This company is a complete scam. I agree with Michelle. Stay far, far away. Outrageous price: $59 dispatch fee, $149 labor charge without doing any labor and a 3% visa fee. My $59 opinion became $214. I bought a foreclosure that sat 2 1/2 years with a well that was pumping black water through the outside hose bib even after running it full blast for an hour. So I called Prime and said I wanted them to check it before opening the indoor water valve to all faucets. I didn't want to clog all the faucets and toilet valves and have to replace them and the faucet seats and springs. They said they would charge the $59 dispatch fee - which for all other companies means check it out and tell me if it was bad bacterial organisms that live in wells after not using them or just minerals. I ran it 5 or 6 times over the next 24 hours and it started to clear. He determined it was iron and magnesium, checked the water softener and said I could open the inside valve to check everything for leaks. He helped me check for leaks. One toilet had a bad fill valve and one a tank gasket (each a 20 minute job which I always do myself). I could see charging $214 if he fixed them but he did nothing other than give me the OK to turn the water on and help look for leaks. read more

I'm only giving them a four-star because they didn't explain all the charges verbally the price to hook up my new dishwasher was a little crazy if they would've told me the price I would've told them not to do it and gone with Best Buy which is where I bought the dishwasher and it would've cost me a whole lot less. read more
