One of the most unprofessional experiences I've had with a company in a long time…read more First of all, be warned, this company uses a mix or AI (robots), international customer service, and local people, to handle their inbound calls. So you never know if you're speaking to someone local, someone over seas, or a robot. I called and scheduled an appointment to have my kitchen sink snaked, using their $93 or free promotion. The tech was supposed to arrive between 1-5 pm. (I later figured out that I was talking to AI, to schedule this). So the following morning, I get a call, from a human in their office, saying no, I need to be home at 11 AM, because the plumber will arrive earlier. So I had to leave my job at 10:45 AM to meet this plumber. By 12:30 he had not arrived, so I called the office. The office informs me, we never said at 11, we said AFTER 11 (this is absolutely NOT what they had said to me). They proceed to inform me that the plumber only has one stop before me, and should arrive early afternoon. By 3:30 pm he STILL had not arrived, and I had missed almost an entire day of work. I called the office again, and got an over-seas customer service person who had no idea what was gong on. This so-called plumber shows up at 5:15 pm! He brings in a hand snake, that looks like a child's preschool toy, and performs one of the most half-assed, half-hearted attempts to clear a drain that I've ever seen. He says he can't clear it without a power auger. (Anyone with half a brain would have brought a power auger with them initially). He says he can do it tomorrow, with a power auger, for $500!! At this point I told him to leave. There was no charge for service since he was unable to clear the drain. BUT, this is a BAIT AND SWITCH sales tactic. Advertise one price and service, and then BAM, hit you with a higher price. This waste of time cost me nearly an entire day of work. I was able to get a different company to come out and clear the drain that same evening. The other company arrived on time, and cleared the drain for only $200, less that half the price that M & S wanted to charge me.

He was very personable and professional, and took the time to clearly answer all my questions (which I'm sure was a challenge, as I am not very good at understanding things like this). M&S has such wonderful customer service and great service technicians. I highly recommend this company to anyone who is considering installing a mini-split.

Christina answered the phone promptly during business hours, provided a competitive quote right over the phone, and scheduled the job during the same call. Everything was handled quickly and efficiently. On the day of the appointment, Christina gave us a courtesy call to let us know that Daniel was on his way, and he arrived exactly on time. Daniel was professional, courteous, and well-prepared. After setting up his work area, he got right to work removing two old 40-gallon water heaters and expertly replacing them with a new 50-gallon unit (picture attached). Before wrapping up, Daniel double-checked that the hot water in the house was working perfectly - and it was! We couldn't be happier with the service, professionalism, and results. We highly recommend Charlie's Plumbing!

I had also requested a new spigot on the outside of the house. Unbeknownst to me, the plumber pulled out siding from the house, broke the spigot knob, burned/melted the siding, and never replaced the spigot. The siding in that area is going to have to be replaced. I have put in numerous calls to the Owner asking him to call me and schedule a time that he could come out and talk about how to deal with the wreckage that is left. I have not received any call back. Since I've been dealing with this for two weeks with no follow up from the Owner, I have resorted to using this forum to warn others of the poor work done by this company. So disappointing.

I asked ChatGPT for the best company suited to my particular problem and Johnson Bros was the…read morerecommendation. My criteria was honest, competent, and fair prices. I feared a complicated drainage diagnosis and possibly a very expensive repair. I had already worked myself into believing this might involve cameras, locating equipment, drainage plans, excavation, and who knows what else. Jeremy took one look at the situation and said, essentially, "Nope." The problem was simple, and so was the solution. He explained that the pop-up drain was doing what it was designed to do, but the excess water had found an easier path underground, which also explained a soft depression nearby (this was causing a lot of soil erosion on my neighbor's property). He then spent a great deal of time walking me through the remedy: where to dig, how deep and wide to make the area, how to use gravel and plants, and how to install deeper edging so the water would disperse properly instead of gushing toward my neighbor's property. I asked a lot of questions. Jeremy answered every one patiently, then went over the plan a second and third time because I wanted to make sure I understood. He physically mapped everything out so I could clearly understand what needed to be done. There was no attempt to sell me camera diagnostics, unnecessary cleaning, excavation, or an expensive drainage system. He charged only the $79 trip fee and nothing more. That kind of honesty is increasingly rare. Jeremy could have turned my anxiety into a padded invoice, but instead gave me a practical, inexpensive solution and made certain I understood it before he left. This is exactly the kind of company people hope they are calling. I felt so relieved that I was prompted to reciprocate his honesty by writing this review.

Apparently AO Smith assembler does not know what torque wrenches are for or he was being ugly and decided to make a few peoples lives miserable. So I have to pay for delivery of the old unit back to Lowes, delivery of replacement to my home, and then pay for installation.....How's that for a 6 year warranty?
