The employees there are always so nice and helpful, their cafe has great drinks and treats (my personal favorite is their rose chai with pistachio milk, have to buy it every time) they are my local book store so it's very convenient if I want to add more books to my tbr corner . The only downside is they don't have all the books in the world, the books and music that are available are the only ones available. But that's totally fine because you can always browse and discover more authors and genres that they have available. 11/10 will recommend this place, it's like my very own heaven. Definitely have everything a new collector might want but may not have the deep cuts a long-time collector (like me) would be looking to purchase. Prices - a tad high. But I expected that considering I'm in a metropolitan area. Their rent is probably super high, but I don't mind paying an extra $2-3 per book to keep an independent store open. Regarding those deep cuts: - I did find some authors that I think are often overlooked, including Richard K. Morgan, Chuck Tingle, and Ann Leckie. - I was saddened to see that there was no Ronald Malfi in stock, which I find to be a mainstay in horror. - There was no Between the Buried and Me vinyl in stock, which saddens me due to concert tonight (that's why I drove all the way to this coast). Rating - 4.2/5.0

Everything in the store is in a sealed flap casing and has a sticker on it which doesn't allow you to look at the album. They are grading the album but not the sleeve which seems odd and they are using trading like VG++??? All CDs are priced at 4.99 or 5 for $20 except the ones that are "more rare." The prices seem to be quite a bit higher than most other shops I have been to (and that's a lot) plus Discogs. To be honest I am not sure where they are getting their listing price and I probably won't be back.

Triangle Vinyl is a great place to seek out a couple of records and there is something definitely cool about wandering and just flipping through the records. Regardless of it being that I am getting older or whatever the case, I found my time here at Triangle Vinyl made me recall those bygone days. Triangle Vinyl is a fantastic business to head towards and spend a bit of time in there. I will give it five stars overall.

For the most part, the equipment was the shiny black stuff we all remember from the late 90s and early 2000s. Sadly, I didn't see a single beautiful amp from the 1970s or 1980s. I judge an equipment section based off of how many VU matters and oscilloscopes I see. Sadly, it was all black plastic and blue LEDs. I don't live super close, but I try to check on it when I'm around. Someone mentioned several copies of the same record in different parts of the store and different prices. I have noticed that, too, but that is common of many record stores. The new copies will be the same price, but used copies will have different prices depending on the condition. I think the problem might be that the New, Used, and genre sections are not labelled clearly enough and there are many different sections. The first time I actually was able to get in, the store was open and music was playing, but there was no one manning the store. If there was someone there, I didn't see them in the 30 minutes or so I was browsing. I ended up leaving empty handed. They do have a decent collection of records, though.
