I don't live super close, but I try to check on it when I'm around. Someone mentioned several copies of the same record in different parts of the store and different prices. I have noticed that, too, but that is common of many record stores. The new copies will be the same price, but used copies will have different prices depending on the condition. I think the problem might be that the New, Used, and genre sections are not labelled clearly enough and there are many different sections. The first time I actually was able to get in, the store was open and music was playing, but there was no one manning the store. If there was someone there, I didn't see them in the 30 minutes or so I was browsing. I ended up leaving empty handed. They do have a decent collection of records, though. Last time, I was able to find something I had been looking for for years. I'll go back. Hopefully it's open when I do.

Triangle Vinyl is a great place to seek out a couple of records and there is something definitely cool about wandering and just flipping through the records. Maybe it is a sign of getting older when you find yourself yearning for the times that you knew in your yesterdays and you find yourself believing those times were the best. Regardless of it being that I am getting older or whatever the case, I found my time here at Triangle Vinyl made me recall those bygone days. Triangle Vinyl is a fantastic business to head towards and spend a bit of time in there. I will give it five stars overall.

They have a huge selection of used records, but you definitely have to come with patience to look through every single bin to see if you might find a gem or some thing that you want to add to your collection. The majority of their stock is used vinyl and that's great if you're into that, which I am not. The new records I did purchase had permanent impressions on the cover from their anti-theft tag. there were only a couple people in the store. How hard is it to pay attention to what they are doing. A lot of used hi fi gear that's not in great shape seems to be collecting dust. Pretty underwhelming experience overall and I won't be back. It was my second trip. Too many other good record stores in the Tampa Bay Area to patronize.

There is also a coffee shop and some seating inside, which I did not partake in on this visit but it's a nice added touch! I also sold some books/media here and the process felt a bit unorganized, but I got a decent amount of cash for my items. Be prepared that it will take a few hours, even if you get there right at 10am, but you can leave and come back or stay and shop around. Definitely have everything a new collector might want but may not have the deep cuts a long-time collector (like me) would be looking to purchase. Prices - a tad high. But I expected that considering I'm in a metropolitan area. Their rent is probably super high, but I don't mind paying an extra $2-3 per book to keep an independent store open. Regarding those deep cuts: - I did find some authors that I think are often overlooked, including Richard K. Morgan, Chuck Tingle, and Ann Leckie. - I was saddened to see that there was no Ronald Malfi in stock, which I find to be a mainstay in horror. - There was no Between the Buried and Me vinyl in stock, which saddens me due to concert tonight (that's why I drove all the way to this coast). Was downtown Brooksville for a flea market event back in November 2025,while there doing the event…read morewith my wife I stopped in the store and was greeted very quickly by Tyler,I was very impressed with the store and pleasantly surprised,so I had to take my wife in after the event.Had a few questions for Tyler about a turntable I was to be getting from my Father in law and asked Tyler if they can do any repairs if needed and without hesitation he answered no problem.Well to my surprise when I received the turntable it was in good working condition,but I will be replacing the cartridge so I will be heading to the store to purchase it from Tyler. What a wonderful experience I had been looking for a place to sell records and saw this store…read morelisted on google. The website and reviews recommended calling ahead to see if the owner, Patrick, was accepting inventory. I wasn't exactly sure where the store was; so while out, I wanted to drive by and check the store location out. We ended up being there an hour before they opened and saw someone in the store. We were quickly greeted by the owner and he opened the store early for us! It's almost overwhelming the amount of inventory he has available. I didn't bring my stuff to sell, but explained the amount and quality and he suggested to bring it in for him to evaluate. I can't say enough about how sweet Patrick was. So helpful and informative and I quickly caught on to his Irish brogue and we dove into a long conversation about Ireland - where I feel like I should hire him to be my guide next time I visit We ended up buying 2 books and he informed us about a charity type bookstore in St. Pete where we could find books very cheap and gave us coupons for them. While I haven't returned yet to bring my items in (which I don't think will sell given his high standards and quality of his items-while mine are used and abused lol) , I do look forward to going back again. If nothing else, just to interact with Patrick. Both my partner and I found him to be so great! If you read this Patrick, Jason and I will definitely adopt you as family
