It is good to see that record stores appear to be making a comeback. Record stores were an important part of my growing up and I miss the magic of those record stores and a simpler age. Triangle Vinyl is a great place to seek out a couple of records and there is something definitely cool about wandering and just flipping through the records. Maybe it is a sign of getting older when you find yourself yearning for the times that you knew in your yesterdays and you find yourself believing those times were the best. Regardless of it being that I am getting older or whatever the case, I found my time here at Triangle Vinyl made me recall those bygone days. We were looking for a used record shop to go check out and happen to come across this one while we were in downtown Clermont. Love the concept of being able to order a drink and sit and listen to music (playing on their speakers - you don't choose it) and just browse records. They have a huge selection of used records, but you definitely have to come with patience to look through every single bin to see if you might find a gem or some thing that you want to add to your collection. Unfortunately for us that's not how we like to shop. Might work for others, but just not us. We also felt like many of the records were truly vintage. read more

Decided to check out downtown Clermont. I was pleasantly surprised. Lots of new eating spots under construction and a fresh new vibe emerging. I recently acquired a new turntable and have been on the hunt for vintage vinyl. I stopped into Triangle and left with an armload of records. The selection is excellent and the prices even better. They have crates of records everywhere. If you love digging for that hidden gem, this is the place for you. I stopped in here due to recommendation from a friend. It was okay. No one was very friendly. 3 millennials were chatting at the check out counter and the only time they talked to me was in regards to making sure I wore a mask. Selection looked like it would be great, but I left empty handed. I found the Record Store at Renninger's in Mount Dora to be more friendly with a better selection of the classic rock records I'm looking for. read more

Best vinyl store in the Orlando-ish area. There, I said it. No need to read further..... ....but if you do, I'd love to explain why. First, they have a lot of great records. Hard to find, things I've never seen in the wild, to things I didn't know existed. For a vinyl enthusiast like myself, I found myself digging the bins and saying "wow" several times out loud. Pricing is very fair. These guys know the value of their inventory, but don't price gauge just because Discogs or other online places would suggest they can. Plus, they are happy to help track down whatever grails you may have (I may have overheard a convo or two, sorry!) By far, they have the best and most extensive offerings of soundtracks I've seen in person. I had to tell Justin at the front desk directly. Really cool pieces, pretty much everywhere. Strong hip hop section too. The best part was it was rare stuff, and zero DJ 12"s littering the bin. Thank you! They have $1 and $5 bins if you feel like getting your dig on. At first, I was reluctant to - that's a young person's game, I said - but the reality is I'm a digger and picker at heart, so I made my way through every single bin they had. I found these guys through Instagram, and learned they will sell through their eBay store and IG if you are so inclined. To me, this is what the indy record store is all about: killer vinyl, great selections, super service, all under the same roof. I'd encourage you to check these guys out; definitely worth the 30 min drive west of Orlando (and the tolls that come with that, fyi). DO NOT SHOP HERE ANYMORE! If I could give zero stars I would. We had a $25 gift card and went in to use it today on a total purchase of $40. They would not honor the gift card, has no expiration, because they said new owners took over. Shame on you. We have been shopping here for years, will never go back. It really is sad since we are locals, as well as other family members, you lost our business. I hope the new owners don't ruin what was a really nice local spot. read more

Was visiting family in Florida and looked around for some vinyl shops. Triangle Vinyl happened to be the closest shop with the best reviews, so I made the drive even though it was close to an hour. I am very happy I did. Not only did they have a great selection of metal and punk at very fair prices but I even pulled some fun gems out of their $5 bins. I walked out with a nice sized pile of records. Everything was vary fairly priced and in very good condition. The owner was very cool too and very knowledgable. If you are a vinyl enthusiast and live in the area or maybe visiting Disney and have the means to get there, check this shop out. Its not the biggest shop i have ever been to but they manage to pack a lot of great finds and even better deals in here. read more

I've been driving hour and a half round trip from Orlando to Triangle in Clermont all spring and summer since discovering how great a store this is. It's worth the drive! The prices are so fair and Justin the owner keeps all genres very stocked up. The customer service is great. The records are always in the exact condition as stated and supporting a family owned place that cares so much about their customers is a pleasure. The store also has a strict mask mandate and provides masks and hand solution for customers that don't have their own -- which makes me feel very safe. I say check it out! read more

As somebody who recently got into vinyl collecting, I must admit I have very little experience with record stores and I only have a couple other places that I have visited to compare this business too. That being said, I absolutely love this shop. There is a great variety of genres available, all organized well for a smooth crate digging experience. I have now been multiple times, sometimes with only a week in between my last visit and I always seem to find something that wasn't there before which tells me that they are constantly adding to their own collection. I recently bought The Chance the Rapper Acid Rap from triangle vinyl for $60 - it was 100% download it from Spotify and skipped on the chorus of every other song. When I went back to the shop a few days later to return it they would only give me a store credit... UPDATE: A few days later the owner called me and offered me a full refund. I'm very thankful they did. They said they would be looking into the site they purchased the record from for authenticity. read more

Great record store managed by an owner, who knows what he ´s doing. Musiclover and passionate cratedigger himself. So he knows how to treat customers. Competetive pricing, his Dollar bins under the tables are very good. His selection is pretty good, though not awesome. That is simply because he is rather wellknown now with many collectors, so the good stuff sells quickly, mainly because he is not overpricing it. Store is really clean and neat. Wow! The best record store I have found in the Greater Orlando Area. I'm pretty sure it is the only record store in Lake county. I went looking for a gift and I found what I was looking for even more. An incredible selection of used records in excellent condition. Also, tons of new sealed releases. One of my favorites places ever! They've got such a broad collection of vinyls and they are at such an affordable price. The owner is super chill and very personable and he has helped me with all of my inquiries. He personally ordered vinyls for me and kept them for me if he didn't have them at his store.
