Be prepared that it will take a few hours, even if you get there right at 10am, but you can leave and come back or stay and shop around. Definitely have everything a new collector might want but may not have the deep cuts a long-time collector (like me) would be looking to purchase. Prices - a tad high. But I expected that considering I'm in a metropolitan area. Their rent is probably super high, but I don't mind paying an extra $2-3 per book to keep an independent store open. Regarding those deep cuts: - I did find some authors that I think are often overlooked, including Richard K. Morgan, Chuck Tingle, and Ann Leckie. - I was saddened to see that there was no Ronald Malfi in stock, which I find to be a mainstay in horror. - There was no Between the Buried and Me vinyl in stock, which saddens me due to concert tonight (that's why I drove all the way to this coast). The majority of their stock is used vinyl and that's great if you're into that, which I am not. A lot of used hi fi gear that's not in great shape seems to be collecting dust. Pretty underwhelming experience overall and I won't be back. It was my second trip. Too many other good record stores in the Tampa Bay Area to patronize.
