Rocket Plumbing inspected my dishwasher that continued to back up with water. I was charged an initial service fee to send someone out even though that person couldn't diagnose the issue. I had to request for another person to come out to inspect. The 2nd person said the issue was due to an air gap and would be $200 in addition to the service fee which in retrospect seems high given the cost of a new dishwasher. We proceeded with the proposed fix. I now have a dishwasher that backs up with more water. After having them come back a 3rd time I was told I have to call the manufacturer. I'm now down $225 and now have more standing water in my dishwasher than I did before. Be cautious and shop around, Rocket Plumbing may not be your best option. read more

Awesome service! I called at 7am for an issue with a clogged kitchen sink. I received a call back by 7:45 and Anthony arrived at 8:30! Very professional, reasonably priced (with a coupon on Yelp), and had my sink fixed in under an hour. read more

I had a super leaky faucet in my bathtub and I e-mail Rocket via Yelp. I got a response in minutes and was on the phone w/ someone an hour later. I had an appt booked for a few later. The day before the appt, I received a call to confirm the time and address and I was asked if on the day of the appt the service person was early, would I be interested in an earlier meet? Who asks that? Normally, everyone is usually running late. Lo and behold, on the day of the appt, I got a call letting me know that the plumber is available sooner and if I could meet earlier. I said yes. The plumber (Sam) was exactly on time and did such a good job! I live in a condo so the water shut off is a pain in the behind, because the whole condo's water would be shut off. So, minimizing the down time on the water shut off was a must. Sam did everything that needed to be done within in the allotted time I had. Once the water was turned on, he even went to all the other faucets to make sure that the water pressure was good. He found an issueswith one of the faucets (I didn't even know there was a problem), but he saw that the regulator was past its prime & went to his van to get me a new one. Overall, great experience in working with Rocket Plumbing from start to finish. So easy...staff was super friendly and the work was done very well. And to top it off, the cost of this service was the most reasonable, as I had received quotes from 2 other companies. I would highly recommend Rocket Plumbing if you have any plumbing issues. read more

The appointment making process was easy, we had a few small jobs lined up: replacing a few cartridges that were too stubborn for us to get out ourselves, and replacing a bathroom faucet. Nick and Mike arrived about 10 minutes ahead of schedule, were professional, and worked efficiently. Overall, we are happy with their work and would call them again. The portion for swapping out the faucet was more than we expected, so we're glad to use the yelp coupon. read more

We had a major water leakage from the condo unit above in the middle of the night and I am so glad we called Rocket. They call back first thing in the morning- so prompt- and always were helpful that day. They ended up coming out three times to help solve our problems (each a different issue) and each time they were timely and professional. Sam, our plumber, was so helpful throughout this entire process. He always explained the situation very carefully and openly with us so we felt comfortable moving forward and understood what was happening. He was always prompt and did his best to fit us into his day to make sure our job got done ASAP. We will definitely be using Rocket again! read more

Hands down the best solution to all plumbing problems! Had a clogged drain line to the street. Roots in several locations blocked the flow almost completely. The drain line cleaning tool/machine owned by Rocket Plumbing is revolutionary and returned our entire length of pipe to 100% flow with zero evidence of roots. Completely cleaned the inside of the pipe. They also fixed multiple other plumbing challenges in our house as renovations continued. Fast, professional, at the right price! read more

I had a new water heater installed on 4/15/17 and it went off without the slightest hitch. Anthony and Ryan did the job and were fast, friendly and answered all of my questions. They also cleaned up afterwards. This was the second time I've worked with Anthony and had a great experience both times. I would definitely recommend. read more

After a major mess up by another plumbing company while doing routine maintenance rodding in our main sewage line, I called Rocket Plumbing for help in an attempt to avoid a $2,500 remediation project. The crew was friendly, knowledgeable, and best of all, persistent. When it looked like they wouldn't be able to solve the problem, they kept at it a few more times and it worked! I highly recommend Rocket Plumbing. read more

I had Anthony and Angel come by today, they were quick to diagnose the issue and fixed everything in no time. I think the best part about it was they were very transparent about how to prevent the issue in the future and gave me a lot of good information about things to do/not do in the future. Would use again read more

Lined them up to replace filters in our reverse osmosis system. My mistake was not asking for a quote first before allowing them to continue. He charged $100 more than another company and I even supplied filters. Will not be calling them in future. Again, I gave 2 Stars because I think the job got done. Hopefully, there will not be a problem with water filtration system. read more

If you want expert plumbers for a fair price call Rocket. We have had a few different issues with different sinks and Rocket has always been prompt to reply and fix the problem. The last two times Danny has been out and he's been great. He diagnoses the problem, tells us what he is going to do, does it and then cleans up. No one wants plumbing problems but when you do call Rocket. read more

Fast, helpful & very friendly! Would def use again. Thank you!

Brian was fantastic! He was here right on time (maybe a minute or two beforehand), jumped into the problem, was up front about capabilities and resolved our issue quickly while educating us on ways to prevent future problems. He's a nice guy, is passionate about his business and is honest - hard to find these days! read more

Absolutely great service and wonderful plumbers! Our neighbors had a little disposal backup that caused flooding in our kitchen and Rocket Plumbing came to the rescue within in an hour to unclog the blockage and give us a little plumbing education. Brian was such a nice guy and even offered to fix our wobbly faucet for no cost. We can't thank you enough for the wonderful service and I will definitely give your number out to any friends around the Chicagoland area with plumbing issues! Thanks so much for the quick service, the sink drain works better than it did before you came! read more

We needed someone to come and fix our water heater, so we called Rocket Plumbing. The man on the phone was honest enough to say that his workers don't have a lot of experience with that brand, and, depending on what was wrong with the water heater, they might have trouble getting parts for it quickly. Instead, he recommended another company, Design Temperature. read more

I was pretty concerned when my water heater stopped working and the control showed that it was locked up due to detecting gas fumes... not because there was a chance of a gas leak, but rather because more than half the water heaters in my building had been replaced with similar problems. These replacements happened right before owners were moving in and the builder came across this error and couldn't unlock the heaters. A slight glimmer of hope was the folks the builder had subcontracted didn't seem like the most competent in the world. So with a potential water heater replacement in the back of my mind, I called Rocket. I spoke to them first thing in the morning, but they were busy and couldn't send anyone over until 1pm the next day. Bummer. However, I was called the next morning and they were ahead of schedule, so Tony, the repairman, dropped by before 11am. He seemed pretty familiar with the type of unit and explained some of the common issues. Turns out painting can cause the heaters to lock up, so that was probably the issue that happened to the builder as they put the finishing touches on the new condos. After going through a series of unsuccessful attempts to "jump start" the heater (such as unplugging the control panel and sensor) Tony called the manufacturer who had him unattached the fan and try to to reassemble the top portion of the unit. No luck. He then spoke to the manufacturer again and they decided to try to reboot the whole unit. This time it worked. Boom! Tony was super nice, helpful and explained everything that he was doing, so if anything else happened I had a frame of reference. Only cost $75 and nothing blew up, so I was pretty stoked. Also, a tip offered was refused even after I offered it twice. All around fast, great service provided by super nice people. Rocket is now my go to plumber for any issues that arise in the future. read more

Ejector pump and sump had to be replaced. Tony was fast, efficient and even explained a few things to this noob.

I was not very impressed with the service. We had two(what we thought were minor) reasons for calling the plumber. First, there is water collecting under the kitchen sink. The plumber took a brief look at the pipes under the cabinet and made a determination that there was no leaks in the pipes but it was the gap between the kitchen faucet and the counter where the water was leaking from. Without examining the faucet, he proposed that we replace the whole faucet and provided a quote of hundreds of dollars. I was hoping he would examine the faucet more closely and also propose some cheaper solutions. He kept on saying that this faucet was a cheap quality Moen from home depot and not the high quality one from plumbing supplies. The least he could have done is maybe discussed whether parts of the faucet could have been replaced at a lower cost. Second, i asked him to look at the flush in the toilet which was having some minor trouble flushing. He did break some part of that system. He kept making excuses that it was cheap low quality home depot stuff that was installed. Eventually he somehow made it work but i regret having him touch it and fear that it could stop working anytime and would be worse than before he touched it. He even charged me "only $10" for "fixing" while he spent only around 5 minutes and also broke some part of it. The plumber did arrive on time as promised. read more

Rocket has saved me twice now. Once for an incorrectly installed dishwasher (not installed by Rocket!) and yesterday when my condo flooded due to a building plumbing issue that backed up into my unit. Yuck! I called mid afternoon and they were able to send someone by 6pm. Sam was able to come even sooner! He was great - very thorough, left zero mess, and explained everything to me. I learned so much! Sam even called the next morning to make sure everything was still ok. I'm so glad I trusted the yelp reviews and called Rocket! read more

I have never had a good experience with a plumber- until today. First they came out on a Sunday, without charging anything extra, which is amazing. Secondly they were there within an hour and I ended up being late to meet them at my building. Ben was super friendly and professional. He and his colleague finished the job quickly and efficiently- even though it was much more challenging then anyone anticipated. Thanks Rocket Plumbing! read more

Anthony was not the first plumber to look at the leak under our sink, but he certainly was the first (and only!) one that took care of the problem!! Service was great, pricing was fair-- what more could you ask for? Thanks! read more

These guys really helped me out in a 'plumbing emergency'. They were timely, very knowledgeable and nice to work with in general. I will definitely be using them for all my plumbing going forward. read more

These guys truly are fabulous! They responded to my phone call right away, called the night before to confirm, and then called again to be sure we were satisfied. You have to love a plumber who charges the regular price for a Saturday house call. They really go above and beyond to treat their customers right. Sam came out on a Saturday and was a wealth of information. He answered all of our questions thoroughly, let us know what we could do as a stop gap measure (we are just starting the process of redoing the kitchen) and could not have been nicer. He did his very best to save us money and it only ended up costing $25 (mention yelp and it's $10 less then their usual $35 charge). We are definitely going to ask for Sam again when we need the new faucet and garbage disposal installed. This is a great company and we are so happy to have them as our "go to" plumbers. read more

Fast, friendly, knowledgeable and clean! Sam came out to fix a clogged kitchen drain, worked quickly, efficiently to fix the problem, explained how we can avoid an issue in the future and left everything cleaner than when he got here. Very impressed with Rocket Plumbing! read more

These guys are great. Sam has come out twice now to fix plumbing projects I've started and failed out. Beyond doing quality work, they are super professional, communicative, and tidy. read more

I am going against the grain on this review as I have not actually used this outfit. However, my customer service experience was so good that I had to write a review. I went into my basement this am to find water backing up from my shower drain- which is tied into my ejector pit. It appears as though the pump in the pit has worn out and simply needs to be replaced. I couldn't reach my normal plumber who completely re-piped my basement (incl the bathroom) which is why I needed a back up plan. As a result, I checked out the Yelp reviews for Rocket Plumbing and called them. The office rep was SO warm and easy to communicate with. She said there is no charge to check out the problem and they work on a flat rate, not an hourly rate. In my opinion, this was an awesome start and it made me feel at ease that I will know exactly how much it would cost to fix the problem. If I wasn't happy with the price then I could send them on their way with no strings attached. In addition, she set up a time for a plumber to come out later today (also great news!). I set up a time with them. Coincidentally, my regular plumber finally called back so I called her back and cancelled. My thinking is that my regular plumber knows the exact layout of where my check valve is located, where the pipes where laid before we put in the floor, the design of the pit, etc. The office contact couldn't have been more understanding and did not give me a hard time. I would absolutely recommend this place based on this experience. You can just tell that they know how to run a business which is great for a change! read more

Called on a Friday to have my hot water heater replaced. It wasn't broken but was out of warranty and inefficient. Was quoted the same day and scheduled for the following Wednesday. The guys showed up on time and completed the work within a couple of hours. Price was fair and included haul away. Highly recommend. read more

They did it again! After I had a friend of a friends plumbing company came to check out some of the issues I had they weren't able to fix the problem. They wanted to open my walls which was going to cost a lot. I decided to get a second opinion and remembered Rocket Plumbing did great work for me a few years ago. Well sure enough they came in and fixed both the issues the other company couldn't. You guys are great and a life saver! Thanks to Nick for getting the job done. read more

Easy to schedule. Tech showed up on time and was friendly. However, $299 for less than 30 minutes of work (faucet install), is rather excessive. Given the high price, would not likely use again unless I had no other options. read more

Having your water heater break in the middle of winter sucks! They took my call Sunday night and by Monday morning I already had an appointment. Danny was great. I highly recommend this dude. He walked me through the process, was super patient with all my questions, and by Wednesday we had hot water again. Living in the city, you learn how precious space is. Our laundry room isn't very big, so going tankless just made sense. The install was painless and now we always have hot water and tons more space. If you can swing it, you'll never regret it. On a more personal note, we haven't owned for very long and this is our first place. Not sure how everyone else feels, but every time we have to get something fixed, I kind of walk away feeling ripped off. Not with these guy, they're patient and understanding and do their very best to make the experience a positive one. I stopped stressing out about the whole thing the minute I got them on the phone. Customer for life. read more

Rocket Plumbing really is great! I called them yesterday and got an appointment for after work the very next day. Brian, the owner, came to check out our leak and fixed it on the spot. I would HIGHLY recommend using Rockit. The entire experience was very positive from start to finish. First, the company was very flexible about scheduling the appointment. I had to cancel our first appointment last minute due to a work conflict and the owner was very gracious about rescheduling. The service technician (Tony) arrived right on time and was very professional and gracious. He took the time to place covers over his shoes so he did not track dirt into the house. He was able to find the problem with my shower immediately. He explained what was wrong and what it would cost to fix ahead of time. He then fixed the problem and made sure to demonstrate the fix afterword and to show me the damaged valve that needed to be replaced. I would DEFINITELY use these guys again. read more

We called over to Rocket with an emergency issue this morning and they were able to setup an appointment for only a few hours later. I called Rocket to come look at our hot water heater. They were out quickly, took a look at it and told us it needed to be replaced. They gave us an estimate which ended up being exactly as quoted. They ended up running out to pick up the new water heater, brought it back and installed it within two hours. They showed me the damaged water heater and it definitely needed to be replaced. They cleaned everything up and took away the old water heater away. I was incredibly happy. We did have one issue, which we ended up resolving amicably. When the guys were replacing the old heater, they shut off the main gas line. After installing the new one, they forgot to turn the gas back on so we couldn't get the furnace to work when it got cold. I called an HVAC guy, not realizing that it might have something to do the plumbing work we had done earlier. I ended up having to pay just to have the gas line tuned back on. When I messaged Brian via Yelp, he got back to me quickly, apologized for the mistake and helped pay the HVAC bill, which I appreciated. My wife has a condo that is having plumbing issues right now and we're planning on calling Rocket in the morning. Their work is great and so is their customer service. read more

Once again I am singing the praises of Anthony. My toilet was leaking like a sieve. (only one toilet in this apartment) It started out with 1 bucket of water per hour and ended up 1 bucket of water every 15 minutes. I went into panic mode and called Rocket and asked for Anthony. He was completely booked....BUT.......made time to come over and repair the toilet. I can't say enough about how efficient and knowledgeable Anthony is, plus he cleaned up the mess and was on his way. Thank you Rocket and Anthony. read more

Sam and Ozzie showed up earlier than expected (always a good thing) and went right to work on the problem area. Sam explained exactly what was going on and how much it would be to fix. When he discovered there was another part that was missing from the original setup, he ran out to the hardware store and returned immediately to finish the job. The work was more than originally expected but I was charged more than fairly and not billed for an extra hour even though it took longer. While they were there Sam also looked around at my other plumbing questions and concerns and shared his knowledge freely as well as helping my water pressure run better and smoother at no cost. I will contact Rocket Plumbing again with my plumbing issues. read more

My water heater died two days after moving into my new place. I found Rocket Plumbing on Yelp based on the other positive reviews.
