We started off with happy hour drinks and calamari. The lemonchello and Negroni are strong!!! You've been warned! The calamari was surprisingly delicious. It didn't have a fishy taste, the breading was thin, tasty and yummy. The sauces it came with were also bomb. It had a nice kick along with pickled peppers that I could eat by itself. Now to the stars of the show -- margherita and pepperoni pizza. Wow. It almost felt like our taste buds were transported to Italy after the first few bites. Both of these pizzas were on the happy hour menu. I strongly recommend getting them if you're in a pizza mood. From the fresh dough, to fresh cheese and marinara sauce.. these pizzas alone are a huge reason we will come back. Our daughter had the buttered noodles which were also tasty. Our server was great, food came out in a timely manner. The space itself is clean and cozy. There is a bar, plus indoor and outdoor seating. Thanks to the Via Farina team for a fantastic dinner experience!

I would definitely go back. We had a group of 6 and the place was busy but we did see the servers were working hard. The only way I would say they could improve is attention to empty glasses or provide larger glass options if they want to sell more beer. Good service overall, I'm usually more thirsty than most! lol Check it out for sure!

We traveled a few blocks for fresh homemade Italian dishes, along with a number of neighbors who had the same idea. Arriving at 5:45-shortly after the 5:30 start time, we were surprised at the line that quickly multiplied with families taking advantage of the great weather and playground equipment that kept the young ones occupied. A wide variety of menu options were available including fresh pasta with a choice of alfredo, marinara or meat sauce. Meatball, brats and Italian sausage subs topped the sandwich offerings. Hamburgers and fries were offered but I didn't see or hear anyone ordering from the grill. A children's menu and family feast were also listed on the hand lettered menus taped to the truck. I ordered the fresh pasta with meat sauce and added a meatball. My husband opted for the Italian sausage sub with potato salad. My entree came with a breadstick and the meat sauce was so packed with meat that I probably could have skipped the added meatballs. My husband raved about his Italian sausage sandwich and I was impressed that they wrapped the bun in foil to keep it from soaking up sauce on the trip home. We had a short 5-7 minute wait for our meals which was delivered in foam takeout containers. Plastic napkin wrapped silverware was available for those eating in the park. The young lady taking orders was well equipped for the crowd and kept the line moving very efficiently. Credit cards were accepted and someone from the kitchen shouted a "thanks for coming" as we exited with our order. Food truck Friday is a welcome addition in our neighborhood and Pomodoro's did not disappoint.

The place is so Cozy, with Great Service, and So Much Fun! The Salad Bar is continually well stocked! The Waiters must Love their jobs because it's a Good Time! The food was ordered and delivered in just the right amount of time as the salad was finished! When the entrées came, every dish was Super! Especially the Spicy Marinara Sauce, as it is a true fan favorite!!!!! I personally loved the Chicken and Broccoli with Alfredo, with a bit of Cheddar on top! Though The lasagna had me at lasagna! As I was able to get a taste of another's entrée! Next time I'm getting a lasagna!!!! We were Celebrating three Birthday's in our group, so the waiter was not only great at waiting tables, but he was also entertaining and well spoken. Don't let me forget, we all had Italian Soda's to drink! Absolutely delicious! It all made for a Wonderful Evening! We will return time after time! Spaghetti Works, Love it!

She also split the check for each player and their family and stopped by several times to check on us and refill our drinks. As for the food, it was good Italian food, but nothing too spectacular. The salad was actually really good as the salad bar had numerous toppings to choose from. I got the chicken parm and it was good. Big piece of chicken and it went nicely with the side of spaghetti. People in our group got different items like the chicken Alfredo, spaghetti and meatballs, and lasagna and they all liked their meals. Overall, it's a pretty cool place in downtown to enjoy a nice Italian dinner and then go out and walk around the area when you're done.

It's very clean inside though and the salad bar seemed fresh and great. It's sad they haven't yet figured out how to cook a pizza without it browning down like a 3 year old trying to roast a marshmallow over the campfire. We've tried this location several times since it reopened and it is just miserable every time (with the exception of the salad bar). If you do dare to try it, don't come after 7. The buffet closes at 8 but they don't make anything after 7. We got there just before 730 and nothing but the old burnt pizza dregs were left out and whatever chicken and runny mashed potatoes. A few pieces of dessert pies, runny ice cream, and the salad bar finished it off. The kicker is that they start vacuuming and cleaning already by then so you've got the loudest vacuum in existence going on while you try to extract what little joy might be in your gas station leftovers quality pizza. The service was fine and the people seemed very nice. We ordered one custom pizza but it came out to the table pretty burned for a pizza. I wouldn't have been able to tell what kind it was if I hadn't ordered it myself. The pizza wasn't quite burned black, but if it were a person, you would have needed dental records to identify it. The salad bar was the only good thing, however, you need really long arms to reach half of it. They have it against a partition so access is only from one side. The guards are so low you have to squat down and fully extend your arms to reach the stuff on the back row. I felt like I was noodling for catfish in the river banks. I'm not sure how this helps with cleanliness or food safety when people's arms are mere centimeters or less from all the other salad items. Needless to say we won't be going back to this pizza ranch again.
