They have an unbelievable assortment of soda in bottles and along with regular fountain soda, they had a specialty fountain too. We ordered the combo of onion rings and fried zucchini. They both had no flavor. The breading was nice and crispy but had zero seasoning. The chili cheese fries were disgusting. The fries were old and also had no seasoning and the cheese wasn't nacho cheese it was melted sliced cheese. The chili meat looked like dog food and was so gross, I don't think my dog would have eaten it. There was a huge puddle of grease layered on the bottom of the fries. The single cheeseburger had a very thin patty and also no flavor. The Mexican hot dog wasn't too horrible but it was mostly bread. The turkey club sub was also mediocre. I could have went to subway for half the price, yuck! The breads for the cheeseburger, hotdog and sub were all great quality but had hardly any meat and toppings. Love me some Rocket Burger! As a family we usually go on a Saturday for lunch. I would give 5 stars but the parking is tight and recently there has been a storage container next to Church's Chicken which makes it even tighter. My husband and I both usually get a bacon cheeseburger but this time I ventured outside my box and ordered the Thai chicken sandwich special. it came on the signature bun that is great and always fresh but never seems to hold up and at the end of the burger it falls apart..but I'm not complaining! Sandwich was a real chicken breast breaded and fried with a spicy peanut sauce and a spicy slaw. Sandwich was amazing. Now I will be torn on what to order on future visits. Hubs bacon burger is just that. A bacon burger, single patty with fresh customary burger toppings. Fries are always hot and freshly cut. This thing came with 3 patties, lettuce, tomato, onions and cheese. It also had pickles and a "rocket sauce" aka thousand island. The bun was a sub type roll and was fine. All the ingredients were not that great though. The burgers were way way way too salty, small and didn't taste good. The dressing had a weird "tang" to it also. The cheese and bun were the only good things about it. At around $10.00, I was dissapointed. My mouth was swollen dry afterwards because of the salt! Never again! I ate the whole thing but would never get another one. Diet Pepsi- This was partly my bad. They have 1000 or so bottled sodas for sale but I chose a fountain drink. The Diet Pepsi was nasty! The worst fountain soda I have ever had. Tasted like root beer mixed with dirty water. So nasty! The guy at the counter and the guy who brought me my burger were friendly. I got the afterburner burger and fries. The fries are seasoned very well and overall a good quality. The burger was delicious! I like a good juicy burger, but if there is one nit pick I have for this place it's that the burger was quite messy. He ordered it for me without mushrooms, but the woman he ordered from corrected him and told him the Garlic Melt didn't have mushrooms. Having not been here before he believed her and lo and behold he came home with a burger covered in mushrooms. It would probably be good if she learns the menu, as my lunch was destroyed because she doesn't know the menu (I'm pregnant and can't handle the mushroom smell). I think this place qualifies as a dive. In a good way. Not much on decor and located behind a Church's Chicken which is very hard to find the restaurant. if you are into different kind of sodas this is your heaven. Not only different kind of soda for display but to drink. Had the Eddie Lopez Single Burger which was a burger with Pastrami. Was pretty good and a solid bun to hold the burger together. The fries were on the soggy side which I personally prefer to be crisp. The soda selection is second to none and really overwhelming but if you want to try something new and different this is the place. Would like to come back to try a hot dog or a sub which both look great. Overall come for the food and not the decor, this could easily be a candidate for diners drive ins and dives.
