I absolutely love this coffee shop. I've been to every location and I absolutely love each of them. The atmosphere is so warm and unique. I've been obsessed with their vanilla chai tea with oat milk. Definitely suggest trying it at any of the locations you go to. I refuse to go to Starbucks, Dutch bros, or wake up call anymore. Support local! You won't be disappointed. read more

Needed to meet a friend and get a cup of coffee at the same time. Great spot to make both those things happen. Nestled in the Garland District, this quaint bakery / coffee shop has a lot to offer. Walking in you get welcoming smiles from staff and a whiff of baked goods. Thank god there was a display case between me and everything they had to offer. Nothing sparks my attention more than sweets. However, that day when I came in--I needed more than that. Coffee: 8oz cappuccino was well-crafted and I enjoyed the espresso roast they use. To me it had a happy medium robust flavor. Goes to show how much they care about the products they serve. Bravo! Food: BREAKFAST BAGELS here definitely hit the spot. You get a pick your bagels which comes with a baked egg, Canadian bacon, and cheddar cheese. I'm not much of a bagel fan but I was delightfully surprised. Coffee and bagel orders can pile up, so there may be a little wait but don't be disappointed. It's worth the wait here. read more

June 12 2022 - Reading labels at Huckleberry's on your cookies and treats. How cheap do you have to be to use MARGARINE over butter in your baked goods? Couldn't be more than two tablespoons in one of you FOUR DOLLAR cookies. Margarine contains trans fat, which raises LDL (bad cholesterol), lowers HDL (good) cholesterol and makes blood platelets stickier, increasing heart disease risk. Not to mention increasing visceral fat (abdominal). Butter contains saturated fats but has been proven to be much better for you in moderation. I do not touch margarine so as long as you're proving that you only use the cheapest of ingredients, I won't be spending money at RB. read more

Walked through the door and was greeted with smiles and this "Procaffinating: The tendency to not start anything until you've had a cup of coffee." My kind of shop. This Rocket Bakery has such a great small neighborhood feel to it. The exterior just recently had a face lift and now has a retractable garage door to let in more light and open air in the warmer months. Particular bakery favorites are the ginormous cinnamon rolls and their poppyseed muffins. The cinnamon rolls will feed a small army... This is a great spot to come with a book or a friend and enjoy the mismatched couches and funky furniture. read more

This was a very cute and yummy place to go. I got a hot chocolate that was very good and a piece of banana bread. The banana bread was very big I couldn't finish it all so I took it home. This is a very inexpensive place to go. The workers are very kind to you. It is also a very relaxing place to go. Super quiet inside, just overall a great place and have coffee with your friends or you could even go there and do homework and get work done. I did notice a lady with a laptop there so I'm sure they have WiFi that is available if you needed that. read more

4 stars because this is a big coffee shop with a lot of comfortable seating, friendly staff, and a quiet environment that's great for getting work down. 4 stars, however, because the coffee isn't superb. Admittedly, I just got a black drip coffee, so I can't speak to the quality of the baristas, but from what I tasted they're not using anything particularly special. If you want a solid cup of coffee I'd suggest Coeur coffee, Indaba, or Atticus above Rocket, but if you're up north and looking for a quiet place to sit down and get stuff done this place will absolutely do the trick. When I go into town (Spokane) for shopping and business, I always try to squeeze in a quick (or long) stop by the Rocket for some java and a treat -- usually a chocolate chip cookie or one of their signature raspberry crisps. The java is good (usually excellent), the people are way friendly, the vibe is mellow and I can sit there and check my email in peace. It's also a great place to meet-up with a friend and chat it up. I just moved away from Spokane to NYC and I have to say there are few things I miss...one of those few being Rocket Bakery. Rocket was my go-to location for study sessions for my past two years of college, whether that be for long halls cram sessions alone, or for large group projects. The environment is great, awesome music (not 'top 40 songs' thank goodness) but quiet and friendly atmosphere. Definitely not somewhere you should stop if you are in a hurry, the line is long, and there is little parking, but if you are looking for a cozy study spot or awesome date spot, which of course has great food and drinks, this is your place!! There tea is my personal favorite, and it got to the point where I would walk in and the ladies already knew my order; amazing environment that I have to say, I miss! read more

This is a fun little neighborhood bakery/coffee shop in the Garland District with a good assortment of baked goods from cookies to quiches and everything in between. They have good coffee/espresso and the atmosphere is homey, cosy, and relaxed, with old mismatched furniture to plop down on while you enjoy your pastry or your coffee. They also sell kombucha on tap, which I have not tried yet, but hey, it's cool that they have it available. Don't expect speedy service as they usually only have one person behind the counter who isn't typically a speed-demon, so if you're impatient or in a rush take a deep breath and expect to linger while your order is processed. read more

I love Rocket Bakery, but for some reason this particular one I've always had minor issues at. I'm not sure why that is. The biggest annoyance is they don't have everything the other ones do. Or don't express that, like today they just made me a bagel that was wrong instead of saying we don't have jalapeño bagels. So I got a cheese bagel, and this bakery doesn't have other cream cheese options? (why?) Like just tell me you don't have it, don't let walk out and find out it's only a cheese bagel.. Very disappointing. Other times they forget to give me what I ordered and I'm having to wait in line again to say hey are you going to give me my lemon bar? I'm trying hard not to be a bitch but when it's the only carbs I get weekly and I normally moan loudly while having my rocket bakery bagel... It's super disappointing. The Rocket Bakery on Garland used to be my favorite coffee place, the people were really friendly, the manager was always genuinely nice and made excellent coffee. I moved away from Spokane and came back for a visit recently. I had to go to Rocket of course! I was so incredibly disappointed and confused. The espresso in my drink tasted bitter as well as being lukewarm. The manager took my order, her name was Elssa I believe and she was blatantly rude to another customer, made fun of the lady in front of me after she had ordered and walked away to another employee and was pretty cold to me and my husband. I just can't believe how bad this Rocket got. read more

After reading so many positive reviews on here my mother recommended we go here. We stopped in on the way in to downtown. I was hoping for 2 chocolate croissants but we had gotten there too late in the day, and there was just one left. I let my mom have it and opted for a slice of cake. I figured you can't really go wrong with chocolate cake? Right? Wrong!! Both items were dry - but they were tasty! Maybe if we go earlier next time they will be better.. Jet into Rocket! Stumbled passed Rocket because Taste was on vacation. Though Rocket had 5 stars it was listed far down the Yelp list though I had chosen to list by ratings. The girl at the counter was super friendly to every customer that walked in the door. There's a nice little quiet area in the back that you can sit and read in cozy old chairs or at a community table. Bright windows up in front or two teeny tables outside. Great selection of baked goods, all labelled with the ingredients. I just had regular coffee and it was fine. I recommend the chocolate swirl bread - so delicious! My tab was under $5 which is amazing for 2 items that were quality. I will be back for sure! read more

This is a smaller, more intimate version of the Rocket I am more familiar with on W. 1st downtown, but just as good. This morning I had an iced white mocha iced coffee, and a BIG slice of Potato and bacon quiche. Both were good. I chose to eat my HUGE piece of quiche cold, but next time I think I will ask to have it heated. I didn't taste to much bacon. maybe heating is the key, but it was filling. read more

Had an asiago bagel and an americano, decent prices all around and so many things to choose from. Lots of amazing looking cookies and pastries. I'm pretty sure the bagel was fresh, if not it sure tasted that way. It was very soft and enjoyable. The coffee was made exactly to order and came out satisfyingly cold as I enjoy it. The whole environment was very quiet and relaxing, good music and good vibes. You never know what you'll find while you're struggling to get your Pokemon Go up and functioning.
