Muggies is a local coffee company that's fairly new and growing! I tried their location near Garland after seeing some Spokane friends post about it. I will say that some of their drinks are very sweet, a little too sweet for me even when I ordered one of their signature drinks half sweet. That said, service was very personable and fast. First-time experience was awful. The girl taking our order rushed us the entire time, and we had to repeat ourselves at least five times because she didn't seem to be listening. We ordered two drinks but somehow ended up with four drinks that weren't even the right drinks & we had to pay for them. We had seen this coffee shop all over TikTok and instagram and were excited to try. We ordered a latte and lucky charms matcha. However, after waiting in line, they gave us the wrong order - we ordered lucky charms and they gave us fruity pebbles, and instead of remaking the drink, they poured the old drink in a new cup and put lucky charms on top - the drink didn't look good and tasted like fruit pebbles (see picture). Plus, they forgot to give us our coffee order and tried to quickly dismiss us before we were able to say anything - seemed rushed and annoyed by our order. While, Muggies does make some yummy coffee, the owner illegally charges taxes on gift cards per WAC 458-20-103 gift cards are to be treated as cash and you are not allowed to charge taxes on them. The Attorney General's office made the owner, Madison Hare, return taxes that were charged on the gift cards to a family member, she is still charging taxes on those. I know because I went through to get a gift card this weekend and they tried to charge me tax. This is illegal. read more

I took a jaunt to this place because I have seen a lot of people talk about it. I ordered a dirty soda (pine berry, huckleberry, sprite and coconut milk). It was decent. Not entirely sure why this business would turn away a paying customer due to not wanting to combine punch cards. What kind of loyalty do you want? You do realize we are all human and there's plenty of possibilities for reasons as to why people would have multiple punch cards. Whether that be separate wallets, forgetting to grab it, or misplacing one. No where anywhere on the punch cards does it specify you cannot combine them nor does it say anything on your menu or stand. To only ride off of word of mouth is ridiculous. My partner works at Shadle Park HS and your coffee stand was our go too for lunch breaks and early morning coffee runs. Took my dog to get her very last pup cup on February 13th, 2025 but yet I can't even get a free drink when I've bought the 10 before to get it? I can even pull up transactions to prove every single punch was earned by me. I am appalled by the treatment of your staff, your policy you've claimed to of had for years, and ultimately how unloyal you can be to your own customers. I'd highly advise to not support a business doing things like this. read more

Incredddddibly slow service. I come back because it's so close to my house and I like to support small local businesses vs Starbucks or Dutch Bros but a 15-30 minute wait for 1-2 people ahead of you is insane. I came one morning, right at opening on a Saturday , one girl working and she was so quick and still super friendly and on it. The other gals are just on leisure time, slowly moving, talking slow and quiet, coffee is good but the slowww service is a killer. If they don't pick up the pace I'm afraid they will be out out of business with the new coffee shop going in on the corner. read more

The food is pretty good they have a choice between three different breakfast burritos and a couple other sandwiches. The service is great it's the same couple of people working there every morning and they know exactly what I like to get. The ambiance is nice, a small coffee stand right off ash. Overall, good spot. Good coffee. We drove by at 9:30am on a Thursday and there were 3 cars on each side so you know this place is good. It's been here more than 15 years as well. We ran an errand next door and came back and the cars had cleared. Quick service, always 2+ people working the drive through. You can walk up if you are close by.
