I was in the Vaudreuil-Dorion area and decided to get an iced black tea before I headed off to shop. I did a quick search and found this cafe. I decided to check out the drive-thru. It looked so new and inviting from the road. I placed by order with a cheerful barista. They switch effortlessly between French and English. She made sure that there wasn't any lemonade in my drink, which I appreciated without any prompting! There is a lot of parking. I parked briefly just to take a picture of the cafe's entrance. My drink was perfect. I loved my experience here today! (238)

I usually come here as my last resort .. don't really like their coffee Cons: 1. It's always super busy.. and super difficult to get a seat inside 2. It's pure price gouging for coffee! I mean super pricey.. it nearly only costs them maybe 30-50.cents to make a coffee and maybe the other stuff max 1$ .. yet you pay lIkr 6-7$ for a cup of filtered coffee.. I don't normally come here only when II want to sit down and spend some time wIth a friend over coffee it's alright and very convenient 3. The tables are always super dirty and never wIped down.. grrr and the floors were filthy .. I didn't see anyone of their staff cleaning the place up from the timee I came in and after about 1-2 hours after I left nothing was being cleaned up. Pros: 1. Free Wifi throughout the joint. 2. Free outside parking, and even has a drive threw for the very hurried ones. 3. Condiments galore to pick and choose from 4. I really enjoyed their new flavour latte called "Butterscotch" was really delicious and tasty! I love the blended flavours and reallyy liked the foam it has a salty base. it wasn't as sweet as I expected it to be ! Overalve safe and convenient for me and probably will be back soon as I enjoy sipping my 1 cup of coffee from home :p

Words that come into mind after eating here: -delicious…read more-unique -homemade -friendly -so many choices And finally... INCREDIBLE! This was such a treat to come here! My friend brought me here and it was such a lovely experience. It's a small little gatherie nestled off a Main Street with a small parking lot (and street parking around). You walk and in and are immediately greeted by a warm and friendly service person. There is a delicious odor you breathe into your lungs as you walk in that makes you want to eat everything in there! Some things we had and recommend: -Gelato! They have tons of great flavors, including kid friendly ones. My daughter loved the "le barbe de Papa" (what a unique name! Translated to "Papa's beard") -Cannolis! They make them right in front of you on demand wow! The big ones are HUGE fyi so I would go with the mini (3 minis equal to 1 big). Or if you are a big cannoli fan totally go with the big one but for me the big one was a bit too much. I'd go for the smaller one next time. -Churros: the churros were crunchy, and just the right amount of cinnamon and sugar! -Savory flatbread: they had so many savory choices! I got the zucchini flavor and it was delicious. They warm it up for you! They also have lots of great choices too for coffee drinks and tons of other baked goodies. One thing I loved that it was super kid friendly! They have lots of tables to sit and water with kid friendly cups of different colors that I thought was a nice touch. Highly recommend this place for a lovely gouter! A great way to treat yourself and your kiddos. They will think you are the BEST parent for taking them there :)

The only thing is you can't eat it the next day as they don't taste the same and get really stale. At least you know you're not getting any preservatives added to last longer and it's all natural. The balls are vegan ahaha that really doesn't mean its healthy lol. I also tried their coffee and frappes .. it's really good .. but I don't think I'd come here just for the coffee. The quality is definitely worth the visit. I absolutely love their sugar cinnamon coated balls and their white chocolate covered ones most! The atmosphere is always very cozy and the menu is simply amazing. They offer a wide range of sandwiches, soups, drinks and desserts. Drinks include lattes, teas, coffees and smoothies. The menu is full of healthy options and choices offered for vegetarians. While they have their specialty sandwiches, you are also able to make your own! This is what I always do while I am there. My usual order is a panini with chicken, avocado, brie cheese, mustard, hummus, tomato and spinach. While the prices may seem just a bit high for some items, it is VERY worth it. For my sandwich, the amount of brie cheese they use alone would cost the amount of the sandwich. It is delicious and I am craving one as I type. There are quite a few restaurants in Ste Anne's I would recommend however this one is perfect for a snowy day inside or a refreshing summer day. I would go to TWIGS every day if I could.

I was asked to work in Ste-Anne-de-Bellevue and someone recommended going to this place for lunch…read moreas opposed to one of the restaurants on Saint Anne Street so I decided to give this place a try. The other place which was recommended to me to try was the cafeteria inside John Abbott College (but I decided not to go there for no particular reason). Cafe Twigs is located at McGill University's Macdonald Campus (on the West Island in Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue) in the Macdonald Stewart building. It is a small cafe which serves lunch/breakfast food along with the usual snacks. Lunch starts at 11:00am (breakfast offerings finish at that time). For lunch, I decided to get one of their sandwiches as opposed to one of their hot meal plates. Their sandwiches are named after people (I'm assuming named after the people who work at this place). The sandwiches are pre-made and when I ordered it, I was asked if I wanted it toasted to which I answered yes. The person placed it into one of these grill machines while I waited and looked at their board hanging on the wall. I saw that they had chili so I decided to order a large chili as well. The sandwich was made ready in a few minutes and I grabbed my chili and sandwich which were placed on the counter and headed to the cash to pay (and get my spoon and napkins). They accepted credit cards and their machine was one of the touch machines so went very smoothly. They didn't ask me if I wanted my bill and immediately threw it in the waste basket. I found the prices to be fair or slightly expensive for what I got. It wasn't what I would consider to be inexpensive nor was it what I would consider to be overly expensive. For my meal, it was a little less than $13.00 which didn't include a drink. As a basis of comparison, the large vegetable chili here was ~$5.00 and it is smaller than a Wendy's large chili and the Wendy's chili includes meat. There were a few seats which were empty so I had my lunch there. This place is like a university cafeteria so most of the customers are university students and the seats get taken up pretty fast at lunch time. The sandwich that I had was pretty good. It was called the "T.J" and the chili was also very good for a vegetable only chili (I normally prefer a meat chili).
