We worked with Colt, he came out and addressed a few concerns we had on the roof, we picked what type of material we wanted and he agreed, explained product and suggestions to my husband. Colt then submitted us with a detailed quote, they were not the lowest quote we received but we liked his personality and professionalism and we made a great decision. The team arrived on time at 8:30 were done at 2:30 and then cleaned up, also used a magnet rake over our front yard and left nothing behind, everything was gone! Colt came out during the process to see how it was going also. My wife and I conducted an interior remodel in 2016 and consulted Rock Roofing regarding a roof replacement at that time as we developed a leak. Rob came out and gave a fair estimate for a full replacement. Rob was honest during this consult, prompt and offered available options for the roof of our 1976 build house (re-roofed around 1992). We decided to wait a few years, hopefully, before having to re-roof the house. In the summer of 2018 we developed another leak and had the original 3 companies re-bid the roof for a replacement. Rob provided outstanding customer service and a competitive bid for the roof replacement. He was available by phone after hours and dropped off samples when requested. I am a do-it-yourselfer, so hiring a contractor for any work on my house is a stretch. It is hard to find companies/people who are still customer service oriented in this day and age versus profit and Rock Roofing stepped up to the challenge and met every aspect of it. Rock Roofing completed the tear off and install of our original roof within a day and a half. I'm utterly amazed at the dedication of their crew not only the perfection of the job but the respect they gave to my home/property and family during the job. After the completion of the job I had a few questions regarding some of the specific areas of my roof. Not only did Rob answer my call, he had the crew Foreman come back to my house the same day which is unheard of in this day and age. The Foreman answered all of my questions, performed additional work I re-quested, which probably wasn't needed, and did so with a smile on his face. My property was cleaned up every day Rock Roofing was at my house and my roof looks amazing. I have recommended Rock Roofing to several friends who will hopefully use their services. I also have several friends who re-roofed their houses the same time I did with bigger corporations and found out after the install they had issues getting a hold of the company, issues with the roof and not installing everything according to contract. Rock Roofing offers competitive rates and has excellent knowledge in their field. The customer service they provided for a major home renovation is worth 10x what they charge. Scott is very professional and reliable. We had some leak concerns around two skylights and scheduled an inspection on Saturday. He came early climbed up to the roof top and checked every part of the roof. He spent almost an hour and inspected very thoroughly inside out. I had a tricky situation and Rock Roofing came to the rescue, delivering excellent service on time and on budget, while beating the competition in pretty much every category: price, speed, and quality. I bought a house I needed to get move-in ready in 45 days. I got a bunch of bids and most roofers offered an inferior product for more money. Also, most roofers were a few weeks out and some roofers closed for the winter. Not Rock. Rock Roofing's bid was reasonable, their install was fast, fast, and the crew was skilled. Rock installed an excellent product for me. I also used them for gutters. Finally, Rob and Colt were good communicators, keeping me informed on progress throughout the process. I appreciated that they were honest and did not replace plywood unnecessarily and resumed skylights that were in good shape. Rock Roofing put a new roof on my home in Oct. 2014, but made a mess of it. The nails they used are too long and protrude/split the plywood of the fascia on all sides of the house and garage overhang. They left the roof with only tar paper overnight and it leaked it two places. They made a huge mess inside the garage. They did only minor clean-up with a blower after they finished (it took a week!), blowing debris all over the landscaping. The original quote was for $9,575, but I ended up paying almost $4,000 extra for the removal of an old rat infestation. They were supposed to remove all of it and install new plywood and insulation. But they did a poor/partial job and it still stinks. I would not hire Rock Roofing again. read more

We used Rock Roofing in 2018 to replace some plastic vents in our roof that had cracked and were causing leaks. They were efficient and had competitive pricing compared to other companies who submitted bids for the project. Just recently, we had another leak that we thought was related to the roof vents. Colt came out (at no charge) to inspect the leak. It turned out to be something not related to the roof, but Colt spent the time to do a thorough inspection of our attic to try to help us determine the source of the leak so we would know which type of specialist to contact next. He did not have to spend the time, but he did, and again at no charge to us. Down the road, when it's time to replace our roof, we know this is the company we will be able to trust to do the job. Had a leak in my roof 10 years after the original roof was put on my house by Rock Roofing. Scott (Owner) was very friendly and took the time to make a thorough examination of the problem. I was dreading replacing our cedar shake roof for all of the reasons you'd suspect. From dealing with salesmen to throwing a lot of money at something I don't even get to play with, I was not looking forward to any of this. Scott from Rock Roofing made my re-roofing project easy. What I liked: He and his crew show up on time. He responds to emails/calls quickly. He listens and offers suggestions. What impressed me the most is that I left my cedar shake roofed house in the morning (Typical Sammamish 3300 sqft home) and when I got home that same day I had a beautiful, long-lasting composite roof. I've worked with Rock Roofing twice now, once when we had a leak in our lower roof, and then a few months ago to finally finish replacing the whole thing. I had my roof replaced a year ago. Rock was professional and the job went quickly despite unexpectedly needing to replace some of the plywood on our roof. Cleanup was superb and everyone on the job site was courteous and respected my home. While Rock wasn't the cheapest bid we got, they were the most reasonable. Scott worked with us to make sure that we had a fair price and would be happy with our roof. It is great when everything goes smoothly and a review is a quick check box. The real test of a company is how it handles things when things go wrong. We had a snafu with the roof material (right color, wrong grade of shingle) and Scott did everything in his power to not only own the mistake, but also to make it right. Once a day was decided (4-11-2018), the delivery was made one day the next day the crew showed up and completed the job in one day. The crew was efficient and worked as well organized team. Cleanup was excellent and thorough. Next day inspection of crews work was a bonus, they want the work done right and are willing to back it up.
