The complimentary wax does not cover all waxes, and it did not include my Brazilian wax. However, they were kind enough to offer 50% off of my first Brazilian wax with them. Only $27 for a Brazilian wax? That's pretty hard to beat. I called them at 10:34a and was able to get an appointment for 11a the same day. It was wonderful. When I walked in, I had a wonderful conversation with Miciah. She was such a sweetheart, and not overly pushy with products and services like some of the other waxing centers. Now, I'm not a pro at getting brazilian waxes, but this was my third time. My waxer, Chaunci, was an absolute treasure. The whole experience was like being touched by an angel. Not one part of my experience was painful, and I really enjoyed her conversation. All in all, my experience was great and I'd highly recommend EWC to anybody looking for their new waxing spot.

I was told there is a free slot for the next hour, see you soon. I arrive, am taken directly back, within five minutes I'm out. The wildest part is my underarms were NOT grown out significantly, often esthetician's give up, rip off my skin, or charge me for four hairs on a strip of fabric all while double dipping and not wearing gloves. Jill, I believe it was, plucked a few and I wholly expected to see endless stragglers as I had multiple different hair lengths coming in at once. I have maybe seven stragglers total (I am happy to pluck those myself), my skin is not sore, it was well priced, efficient, nearly painless, clean, and speedy. I will not go anywhere else from this day forward.

(Mind you, I've had the same eyebrow lady for 23 years; she is essentially my therapist and has become a very good friend). I came here on a recommendation from a cute couple I met out one night. We chatted about life and the many silly situations I've found myself in as of late. She listened and gave great advice just like my friend back home . It was nice. I finally found my go-to eyebrow place after months of searching!! Highly recommend. Great pricing.

Recently I decided to ask her about her tanning services since I've got a wedding coming up and I'm not super happy about showing off my winter skin. I've never been a big fan of tanning salons since I've gotten roasted a few times, and I also don't want to damage my skin anymore. That being said, I was super skeptical about self-tanning too. I had all these awful thoughts of looking bright orange and/or having a really uneven tan. Brittany did a test patch on my side and it was amazing! The tan looked so natural that I was shocked. I'm definitely going to be seeing her soon for a full body tan!

I would call this a very average experience with a few surprises. I booked last minute when my…read moreregular specialist wasn't available, and booking was easy, but finding it was not. Navigating the neighborhood in the snow with dozens of similarly-designed condos and no outside signage at all made it... interesting. The surprise came with the location - from booking I knew it would be in someone's home, but you literally get waxed in the middle of her dining/living room. She stated she lives alone, but it's quite odd to be in the middle of someone's living space with no curtains or doors for privacy when changing (or someone else was home - I wouldn't know). Very strange. For the same price, someone else can offer waxing from a clean business storefront with a private room. The wax itself was fine - not the most painful I've ever gotten and not the least painful, either. She uses a different kind of material to pull up the wax which I didn't feel strongly about, but it did seem to have a habit of being hard to pull up around the edges. For the same price, I'd go elsewhere, but it works in a pinch.
