I lucked out and was able to get an appointment with Schalena, one of the owners. Schalena is a true artist and gave me the bangs I'd been holding off on getting because I didn't want to let just anyone do them. I was able to get an appointment same day. Their pricing tier was well explained. My hair stylist was Sydney. I haven't gotten a haircut in 2 years due to embarrassment of Seborrheic dermatitis , but it was more than time to do it. She listened to my concerns , and made me feel very comfortable throughout the process. I was undecided on how I wanted my hair cut, but she was very patient and kind nonetheless I would recommend her anytime. The salon was clean had great music playing. I had what I considered to be "hair emergency". I booked an appointment with Olivia based on a review (maybe more than one). My hair needed color correction & a good haircut. I explained what had happened to Olivia and what I wanted. she immediately understood what I wanted. She set to work on corrective color, root cover up & cut. Wow! I could not be happier! Olivia is sweet and knowledgeable & easy to talk to. The total experience was great! In my eyes she is "small but mighty". Do not let her youthful appearance fool you! She knows her stuff! Nothing in your response below is accurate. I was very clear when I scheduled the appointment she wanted her entire head bleached and pink. I discussed it in detail with the person who scheduled. When we arrived and we're told there was no time for what we scheduled, highlights were suggested as a work around but that was shot down by the stylist as well. Perhaps a professional consultation would have helped - which is what we were offered and received at another salon. read more

This has been my all time favorite cut and color. My hair is naturally medium brown and I went from a grown out blonde balayage to a Ginger Spice Brown/Red. It is incredible and Schalena is so talented and enjoyable to be around. I went to this salon based on the stellar reviews but was very disappointed. I spent 4 hours and paid over $200 for a balayage and cut. I told the stylist I wanted a brighter lighter blond than what I had when I walked in and showed her several picture examples but I somehow walked out darker. The cut was also the worst I've received in years... I had to walk the stylist through revising it a couple of times before I gave up - I do believe she would have kept working on it if I could have articulated what she needed to do but I'm not the stylist here and she should have the skills to interpret what needed to be done to accomplish what I wanted. She was such a nice person that I genuinely enjoyed chatting with so it was hard to express how disappointed I was before I left... but after all of the time spent there she didn't even style my new cut. The last 10 minutes was a rush to get me finished and I left with a poofy mess of hair that I immediately tied back when I got to my car... they should have been embarrassed to allow a client to be seen walking out of there looking like I did. But, I gave it a couple of days to see if I could style it myself in a way that didn't make me want to cry. No luck. So, I decided do the right thing and call to express how disappointed I was. I have never in my life complained about something like this; I don't even send food back when it's wrong ffs. The owner was extremely kind, easy to talk to, and offered to make it right ASAP, that day even! She told me to come in at 4 and she'd see what could be done. Well, I got there and she'd already left for the day. Luckily, the front desk knew I was there for a revision but the stylist she booked me with didn't. I had to explain that I had been there a few days before and was unhappy with the outcome. The new stylist told me the color would lighten (sounded like BS then and time has proven it was indeed BS) and she did what she could to give me the cut I wanted - the cut is definitely better but she took much more off than I would have preferred. And for some reason, both stylists cut my hair with a part down the middle despite being informed that I normally part it on the side. Now it doesn't really look right when I part it on the side so I've had to adopt the middle-part until it grows out again. I'm not one to write bad reviews but my experience warrants it... luckily my hair will grow but I will have to find a different salon soon to fix the color. Won't be this one. read more

The whole experience was amazing! As soon as I got there, I was offered a complimentary drink, and was almost immediately taken accounted for. I was with Emily, which gave me the best haircut I have ever had in my whole life! Emily made sure I had went through the right options to find what I was looking for, and gave me great advice on products to use, how to style my hair, and how to maintain it. Went here twice and was disappointed both times. Spent a lot of money here (about $350) and didn't even get what I asked for. Plus, is a haircut supposed to take over 5 hours?! The hair stylist also was -SUPPOSED- to be 5 stars. She told me if I start to not like it, I could come back in and she would redo it. I had a cut and partial highlights. Both services performed by a level 3 stylist ( 2 years of experience is all) I stressed several times I wanted predominantly blond... I got the worst color and cut in my 50 years of going to salons. There were NO HIGHLIGHTS WHAT SO EVER, INSTEAD A Yukky BROWN tip to tip. I spoke with the owner Shakina and complained about the terrible service. She said I could come in get highlights redone by a lady level at level 1, with less experience than the other BUT I had to pay again $165.00 ! I cancelled the appointment- not wanting a fleecing. I had paid initially $185.00, the owner did not even offer what the worst salons offer in Ft Collins! Shakina did not attempt to the right thing by me- - stand up for her business' reputation and take responsibility for a poor performing employee this morning. Therefore, I cannot recommend this business. I hate having to write this. read more
