I stopped in about 6 months ago and asked how much is it for a men's haircut and was told $30 something. I have been there 3 times and have even sent my husband there for his cuts. The first cut was awesome! Thanks again Sydni! The second cut I had to fix at home due to a sloppy job. Today I went in for a cut and when I was checking out the charge was $59!!! I was never told by anyone there are "Levels" ?? Very deceptive. And to be honest the first $30 something cut was the best. Me and my husband won't be coming back * I do recommend Sydni, so if you Have to go there ask for her. She does an awesome job. read more

Honestly, I don't think I've ever had a better hair experience in Northern Colorado and I've been living up here for a little over four years now . OMG my stylist was Elaina and I got a full bleach and tone plus a cut. She absolutely KILLED it. She is so kind and so knowledgeable and the rest of the staff was also just so welcoming. Anyway, Elaina idk what you did to make my bleached hair feel so healthy but!!! It is amazing. I'm getting so many compliments and TRUSSTTTTTT I will be back read more

This place rocks! They were so accommodating when I needed a same day appointment because I was visiting from out of town. I lucked out and was able to get an appointment with Schalena, one of the owners. Schalena is a true artist and gave me the bangs I'd been holding off on getting because I didn't want to let just anyone do them. Even before she was done, I was already so psyched with the new cut and could tell it was going to come out great, and it did. She knew exactly what I was going for and communicated her next steps throughout, and checking in for any alterations I wanted. Very down to earth vibe in the salon as well. Great experience overall. Highly recommend :) read more

Twenty years ago I stopped in the Bel Ami hair salon and was treated so well I kept going. The owner sold and relocated, I followed for many more years. That stylist is now retired, looking for a new hair care expert I returned to Bel Ami. Newly remodeled and spacious, I scheduled and was met by a Master Stylist. Truly an expert in color and cuts, beautiful interior, friendly staff, and selection of products. What a complete circle, I am happy to recommend this salon. read more

I stumbled on this salon last year, and it's my new favorite. I've shared my discovery with friends, and now I'm telling everyone. I was able to get an appointment same day. Their pricing tier was well explained. My hair stylist was Sydney. I haven't gotten a haircut in 2 years due to embarrassment of Seborrheic dermatitis , but it was more than time to do it. She listened to my concerns , and made me feel very comfortable throughout the process. I was undecided on how I wanted my hair cut, but she was very patient and kind nonetheless I would recommend her anytime. The salon was clean had great music playing. Everyone including their clients seem to be getting along very well. I was immediately greeted and asked if I would like a drink if I waited. And asked again if I wanted a drink prior to seating. read more

Took my kids to Emily and she did a super great job on both of their hair cuts. She took time to give them a real haircut with shape and layers-- not just a two second trim like some people do with kids. Will definitely be back! read more

I'm impressed every time I leave an appointment with Lindsey, she's been cutting & coloring my hair for over four years and does a phenomenal job every single time. I trust her with my hair to help decide what colors and cuts to try and always love what we come up with. I wish I would have found Lindsey years ago as my stylist! read more

I had what I considered to be "hair emergency". I booked an appointment with Olivia based on a review (maybe more than one). My hair needed color correction & a good haircut. I explained what had happened to Olivia and what I wanted. she immediately understood what I wanted. She set to work on corrective color, root cover up & cut. Wow! I could not be happier! Olivia is sweet and knowledgeable & easy to talk to. The total experience was great! In my eyes she is "small but mighty". Do not let her youthful appearance fool you! She knows her stuff! Did I say she did a fantastic job? Well, she did. When I was there one of the stylists had a new puppy that was in the shop. He was so cute to watch! Added bonus to being there. read more

I just got highlights! Coppery reddish ones. I love, love, love my hair. Olivia is great. Her suggestions were as good as her technique. I needed a change and I love the one I got!! This pic was taken on a windy morning, ok. read more

I moved from TX to CO at the beginning of 2022 and was in need of a skilled stylist for my bleach blonde hair. Schalena outdid every salon professional I've ever seen, hands down. She was quick and did an AH-MAZING job - I was icy blonde and loving it. Several months later my hair needs changed and I wanted to from icy blonde to - and again, Schalena delivered. Cannot recommend her enough!!!!!!!! read more

I'm not the kind of person who goes to the same salon as a regular, but Bel Ami makes me think differently about that. The open, inviting atmosphere makes coming here a treat and the booths are set far enough apart to keep those client-hairdresser conversations private. I love this place! read more

Olivia was great. I didn't give her much to work with after chopping my hair off to donate but she worked wonders on what was left. It's honestly the first time I've left a salon and didn't cry in the parking lot. She was even understanding and super quick when I started to feel sick at the end and got it done ahead of schedule. Very nice salon too. 10/10 would recommend. read more

Emily was wonderful!! My hair turned out even better than I was picturing after going from long hair to short hair, and I was shocked at how affordable the price for the cut was! All the staff were extremely nice and helpful. Overall, it was a great experience! read more

Nothing in your response below is accurate. I was very clear when I scheduled the appointment she wanted her entire head bleached and pink. I discussed it in detail with the person who scheduled. When we arrived and we're told there was no time for what we scheduled, highlights were suggested as a work around but that was shot down by the stylist as well. Perhaps a professional consultation would have helped - which is what we were offered and received at another salon. read more

I went to this salon based on the stellar reviews but was very disappointed. I spent 4 hours and paid over $200 for a balayage and cut. I told the stylist I wanted a brighter lighter blond than what I had when I walked in and showed her several picture examples but I somehow walked out darker. The cut was also the worst I've received in years... I had to walk the stylist through revising it a couple of times before I gave up - I do believe she would have kept working on it if I could have articulated what she needed to do but I'm not the stylist here and she should have the skills to interpret what needed to be done to accomplish what I wanted. She was such a nice person that I genuinely enjoyed chatting with so it was hard to express how disappointed I was before I left... but after all of the time spent there she didn't even style my new cut. The last 10 minutes was a rush to get me finished and I left with a poofy mess of hair that I immediately tied back when I got to my car... they should have been embarrassed to allow a client to be seen walking out of there looking like I did. But, I gave it a couple of days to see if I could style it myself in a way that didn't make me want to cry. No luck. So, I decided do the right thing and call to express how disappointed I was. I have never in my life complained about something like this; I don't even send food back when it's wrong ffs. The owner was extremely kind, easy to talk to, and offered to make it right ASAP, that day even! She told me to come in at 4 and she'd see what could be done. Well, I got there and she'd already left for the day. Luckily, the front desk knew I was there for a revision but the stylist she booked me with didn't. I had to explain that I had been there a few days before and was unhappy with the outcome. The new stylist told me the color would lighten (sounded like BS then and time has proven it was indeed BS) and she did what she could to give me the cut I wanted - the cut is definitely better but she took much more off than I would have preferred. And for some reason, both stylists cut my hair with a part down the middle despite being informed that I normally part it on the side. Now it doesn't really look right when I part it on the side so I've had to adopt the middle-part until it grows out again. I'm not one to write bad reviews but my experience warrants it... luckily my hair will grow but I will have to find a different salon soon to fix the color. Won't be this one. read more

This has been my all time favorite cut and color. My hair is naturally medium brown and I went from a grown out blonde balayage to a Ginger Spice Brown/Red. It is incredible and Schalena is so talented and enjoyable to be around. The only reason I didn't give 5 is because this was also the most expensive cut and color I've ever had in my life, $500. read more

I came in today sobbing because Deina at Salon Salon had cut 7 inches off my hair even though I didn't even ask for a cut (I just wanted my roots touched up). The whole experience was amazing! As soon as I got there, I was offered a complimentary drink, and was almost immediately taken accounted for. I was with Emily, which gave me the best haircut I have ever had in my whole life! Emily made sure I had went through the right options to find what I was looking for, and gave me great advice on products to use, how to style my hair, and how to maintain it. Emily did not cut off too much, and styled my hair in a way that fit my head shape. I will definitely be coming back, and will enjoy doing so!! read more

Went here twice and was disappointed both times. Spent a lot of money here (about $350) and didn't even get what I asked for. Plus, is a haircut supposed to take over 5 hours?! The hair stylist also was -SUPPOSED- to be 5 stars. She told me if I start to not like it, I could come back in and she would redo it. So when I came back, she ended up charging me even though she said she would do it for free. Like I said the second time I came in, I was really disappointed. Screw this place. read more

I had the best color and cut of my life from Erin Johnson at Belami. She is super talented and an absolute doll! I love the texture of my hair and the fact that I don't have to fuss with it to look good. I had a cut and partial highlights. Both services performed by a level 3 stylist ( 2 years of experience is all) I stressed several times I wanted predominantly blond... I got the worst color and cut in my 50 years of going to salons. There were NO HIGHLIGHTS WHAT SO EVER, INSTEAD A Yukky BROWN tip to tip. I spoke with the owner Shakina and complained about the terrible service. She said I could come in get highlights redone by a lady level at level 1, with less experience than the other BUT I had to pay again $165.00 ! I cancelled the appointment- not wanting a fleecing. I had paid initially $185.00, the owner did not even offer what the worst salons offer in Ft Collins! Shakina did not attempt to the right thing by me- - stand up for her business' reputation and take responsibility for a poor performing employee this morning. Therefore, I cannot recommend this business. I hate having to write this. read more
