I really enjoyed the cream cheese rangoons, the sushi kinda just tasted like cucumbers, If that makes sense. I think I just need to get something different, my friend got the hibachi and it was delicious. The prices aren't too bad, staff was very nice. It was a friday night and it was not too busy we were seated immediately. The interior is huge and decorated super cool, they have a big stage so maybe they do karaoke which I think would be fun to go!

This is hands down one of my favorite sushi spots, and I come here regularly -- not just for the…read morefood, but for the experience. First, I have to shout out Carrie, my absolute favorite waiter. He is truly one of a kind. His personality is amazing, he's incredibly kind, attentive, and genuinely cares about both customers and staff. He's always doing thoughtful things -- even giving little gifts to coworkers and guests -- which says so much about the kind of person he is. Every visit is better because of him. That said, every single staff member here is wonderful. Everyone is friendly, welcoming, and attentive. Even when the restaurant is super busy and packed, it somehow never feels chaotic or rushed -- which I really appreciate. The seating is another huge plus. The tables are large, the booths are super comfortable, and most of the seating options are booths (which I personally love). There's also a full bar, and the drinks are really good. The food? Always fresh and made to order. The all-you-can-eat deal is amazing and absolutely worth it. Some of my favorites: * Imperial rolls * Dragon roll * Pork gyoza * Cheesy wontons * Fried rice And this might sound silly -- but above all else -- their chicken nuggets are UNMATCHED. Truly. I don't know what they do to them, but they're perfect every time. Another thing I really love is that they never rush you. You can take your time, enjoy conversation, and eat at your own pace. As a slower eater, I appreciate being able to order food gradually so everything still comes out hot and fresh. Lastly, the bathrooms are large and spacious, and I really appreciate that the handicap stall includes a changing table -- that extra thoughtfulness doesn't go unnoticed. Overall, this place consistently delivers amazing food, incredible service, and a comfortable, welcoming atmosphere. Highly recommend -- especially if you get the chance to be served by Carrie!

The salmon is good, could be fattier. Their red snapper sashimi is so so good! I also enjoy their fried noodles, it's very tasty and not too salty or oily. Their steak hibachi is good! For dessert, I love their sesame balls with red bean inside and their matcha ice cream! They also have fried Oreos, they come with 4!

Wonderful Experience at Yamato Steak House & Sushi Restaurant!…read more Now I understand why my cousin loves this restaurant so much! We had such a great experience at Yamato Steak House & Sushi Restaurant. We started with warm sake, which was smooth with a slightly sweet taste, along with a fresh tossed salad with ginger dressing. For my entrée, I ordered the Filet Mignon & Shrimp with zucchini, onions, carrots, and fried rice. Everything was delicious! The filet mignon was cooked perfectly medium-well, just the way I ordered it, and the shrimp and vegetables were fresh and flavorful. Our chef made the experience even better! He was very entertaining, kept us laughing with his jokes, and made dinner feel like part of the celebration. We were a group of 15 family and friends celebrating my cousin's promotion to Master Sergeant in the U.S. Army , and Yamato was a great choice for our special occasion. They accommodated our group well, and everyone was able to enjoy the celebration together. Great food, great entertainment, and a great atmosphere for groups and celebrations! My cousin loves Yamato...and now I know why!

We went Friday night to celebrate our 22nd wedding anniversary. The food was great and the waitress was good. However the chef was a bit annoying. I don't mind a little conversation but he talked to much and made a lot of racial jokes that I thought were highly inappropriate. I'm only writing now because it's been on my mind off and on all weekend. I don't remember his name but he stated several times he was from the Bronx, he was a Philippine descent and that he lived in Wood Lake. Hopefully I won't have him as a chef again. If I do and he goes down the path of telling the racial jokes I will approach him and ask him to stop. If he doesn't, I will contact the management at that time. Thank you
