The section is nice and clean, the staff didn't speak or even look at us until after an awkward silence we said "hello" and were finally acknowledged w/ response. (It's one room, an entrance and the counter, we were the only people in it) After we got our order we had to pay for extra sauces when that is usually free when we dine in. While the portions were plentiful the seasoning of the food wasn't. The soup which I usually love tasted like bland water w/ mushrooms n green onions floating in it. My steak, chicken & shrimp were all pale w/ no seasoning. I was disappointed. If you care to visit, dine in is the way to go. Avoid take out

The chicken and steak were both tender, flavorful, and cooked perfectly, and the rice was spot on. To our surprise, we visited on a Tuesday and found out the bowls were buy one, get one free! That was such a nice bonus. We ordered four bowls, and the manager even gave me a receipt showing that one bowl had been refunded because of the promotion. I assume the cashier didn't know. I wasn't sure if the promotion meant we should have received two free bowls, but honestly, I was so pleasantly surprised by the deal that I didn't even ask. It was a thoughtful surprise and made the experience even better. The only thing that wasn't quite my favorite was the salmon being fried--I personally would have preferred it grilled--but it certainly didn't take away from how enjoyable the meal was overall. Great food, friendly service, and an unexpected promotion made for a wonderful first visit. We'll definitely be back!
