Elite Builders & Design

We hired Elite Builders at the end of 2024 to build an ADU, with permits approved in January 2025…read more The project took longer than expected and wrapped in mid-October, but most of the delays came from normal construction hiccups and added work we chose along the way. We requested two EV charger outlets, which required a more involved panel upgrade, and demolition revealed a few structural issues that needed extra support. These changes increased the cost, but nothing felt out of line for the added scope. Elite Builders was not the lowest-priced option we considered, but also not the highest. Gabriel was our main point of contact and the strongest part of the experience. He is knowledgeable, responsive, and genuinely tries to help. He added a couple of items at no charge, stayed available by text throughout the project, and even sent an edible arrangement to thank us for our business. His effort and attitude made a real difference. My interactions with his partner, Sheron, were not as comfortable. His communication style made some conversations harder than they needed to be and it is something I would consider carefully if deciding on the company again. A few quality items needed follow-up, but everything was addressed in the end and the finished ADU looks great. Overall, this was a positive experience with a few bumps, and the final result and Gabriel's commitment stood out.

After spending $200,000, the project was scrapped! THE DID NOT TAKE RESPONSIBILITY AND I LOST ALL MY INVESTMENT IN THE PLANS! $200,000 DOWN THE DRAIN! They didn't offer any reimbursement at all for their mistake!!! Good luck if you use them, and I hope they don't mess it up like my plans if you use them. Found Letter Four online and read glowing reviews like the ones here... I should have looked…read morecloser. Having worked with them for 2 years, I now realize most of these reviews are either (1) 5+ years old or (2) from people who work there - Alex S, J M, etc. I spent about $120k and the last 2 years on a 4-bedroom remodel with Letter Four. I have *nothing* to show for it. No plans, no permits, nothing. Just a home that I cannot live in with some holes in the walls and ceilings (they just enough minor demo that I can't live there and then they disappeared - fun!) What I do have are shady invoices (they pad their invoices, double-charge you, refuse to send you receipts even after you ask 5x, charge you for everything they can with a 20% markup - Ubers, printing fees, software fees, etc). What really bothered me is that they pay their Project Managers almost nothing and then they charge you $200/hr for those PMs work. When I tried to do calls with them to understand the invoicing, instead of listening and admitting their mistakes when they very clearly double-charged me for the same things - they yelled at me. The owner Jeremy talked over me the entire call. (To his credit, he did apologize for not letting me get a single word in - he said something like "I've been told I do this to women"). If you want to work with two really arrogant people who want to talk a lot about how great they are and how right they are but won't listen - by all means, sign up to work with these folks. The work itself isn't just subpar and sloppy - it's actually unusable. They were constantly making mistakes - you'd send them measurements and then get the plans and everything would be the wrong size. I never got a window schedule that had windows that matched the plans. They never got approval for a permit for the plans they created. They made so many mistakes, it's laughable. I hired a new Engineer and Contractor who both can't stop cracking up about Letter Four's work. "This isn't even to scale! Look, they have the downspouts at the highest points of the roof! Look at this - that part must be a joke, right?!" For the prices they charge and how arrogant they are about their experience, they deliver really sub-optimal work. They claim their high hourly fees and high-end rates will make your remodel easy for you - but I found that working with them is 5x more work than with my new contractor. (Message me if you want his info - he's *amazing*). Finally, their design aesthetic is really cheesy. It doesn't match any of the photos in their portfolio. All their design proposals felt something you'd see in a cheap flip. It was a total waste of money to pay for a "design + build" firm because I ended up designing every inch of it myself. Another reviewer called them "awkward" and I 100% found that to be the case. Their online portfolio is great, but actually working with them is a total nightmare on every level. Most people don't love their contractors - but you will LOATHE these people. I guess if you want some cool horror stories about your remodel, this is the company for you!

The house had a very closed-off layout, and our goal was to open it up, improve the flow, and make it feel more connected and functional for everyday living. We met with a number of contractors before moving forward, but Neev and Mai stood out immediately. They brought a level of thoughtfulness, care, and attention to detail that we didn't see elsewhere. More importantly, they really listened. It never felt like we were being pushed into a one-size-fits-all solution. They took the time to understand what mattered to us and approached the project with a clear sense of intention. Throughout the process, communication was consistent and transparent, and we always felt like we were in good hands. They also handled important upgrades behind the scenes that gave us real peace of mind, not just the visual improvements. You can tell they care about doing things the right way. Of course, like any remodel, there were moments where unexpected things came up. What really set them apart was how they handled those situations. They were calm, responsive, and solution-oriented. That level of professionalism made a big difference for us. We're honestly thrilled with how everything turned out. The house feels completely transformed. It is now open, warm, and truly enjoyable to live in. It's even better than we had imagined, and my parents couldn't be happier. We're very grateful we chose Oasis Builders and would absolutely recommend Neev, Mai, and their team to anyone considering a remodel.

From our first meeting with our Project Manager, Idan Behar, I knew we were in good hands. Idan is a true professional who genuinely cares about his clients. He worked with us step-by-step to ensure our vision came to life, and while we had a clear idea of what we wanted, his expert advice on materials and placement proved invaluable. The entire crew was exceptional. From the demo team and plumbers to the tile experts (Jorge and Lucia), drywall/paint (Ismael), and finishing touches (Leonardo), everyone was professional and considerate. As someone who works from home right next to the construction zone, I especially appreciated their thoughtfulness. They frequently checked in to see if they needed to "quiet down" or adjust their lunch breaks to accommodate my meeting schedule. They completed a full gut renovation of our primary bathroom and a renovation of our guest bath, and the results exceeded our expectations. The tile work is absolutely gorgeous, the attention to detail is next level, and the job site was kept impeccably clean--which was especially important since my partner and I were living in the house with our dogs throughout the project. That level of thoughtfulness made a huge difference. Baldo was amazing at problem-solving and offering smart ideas and workarounds, especially given the surprises that come with an older home (ours was built in 1977). Michael was equally outstanding--always diligent, responsive, and proactive in addressing any questions or concerns I had along the way. We were so happy with their work that we've already had them back to update our kitchen with new backsplash and tile work, as well as an outdoor bar. I can't recommend Bela Development highly enough. I got about five bids for my whole-house remodel, and Creative Innovation Developers stood out for…read moretheir great communication and solid references. Their pricing was comparable to others, but the ability to visit their in-progress projects gave me confidence. I'm very very particular, and while no remodel is perfect, Creative worked to bring my vision to life. My advice: plan everything in detail beforehand--or hire a designer. To save costs, I handled all the design myself while working full-time, which was highly stressful. Having everything mapped out helps avoid delays, last-minute changes, or compromising on your vision. Golan and Jordan were fantastic--Golan handled planning and communication, and Jordan ensured everything stayed on track. They always responded to my texts in a reasonable amount of time. Their tile crew was exceptional (I often bumped into them because they worked long hours and weekends to complete my home and were really nice and respectful people), and they tiled nearly my entire house beautifully (we're talking 2000 sq ft of flooring, 3 bathrooms, and a fireplace). I appreciated that Creative didn't nickel and dime me for small changes, and when a gas leak was discovered (due to careless cabinetry work), they fixed it--and more (we found more leaks during the repairs)--without extra charges. Despite delays beyond their control, they completed the full renovation in about six months--from pulling permits to final inspection. Major work included a new kitchen, three bathrooms, tile flooring throughout, interior paint, a new electrical panel, and whole-house LED recessed lighting. Even after the job was done, they returned to fix small issues without hesitation. That kind of follow-up is rare in a world full of disappearing contractors. I would recommend Creative for any remodeling project, big or small.
