My husband and I stopped by tonight for some BBQ. We got a little nervous when we walked in and the place was empty. I would consider it a fast food restaurant. There were multiple places to sit and it is connected to The Watering Hole, which is a bar with pool tables. We went up to the counter to order. My husband and I each had the two meat, two sides plate. I chose the sliced brisket and sausage with the Mac and cheese and the smoked potato salad(so good). My husband had the chicken and sausage with smoked potato salad and Mac and cheese. We both really enjoyed the food. The smoked potato salad was our favorite. We also tried their BBQ sauce. One was "spicy" the other was regular. I liked the spicy one and my husband liked the regular. We would definitely eat here again. Service was great also! The only con was that our food was just warm. It didn't even take 15 minutes from the time we ordered to the time we got our food.

Toilet was gross, no soap... not sure if that was drywall in the corner of the floor???

The ambience is soso. ordered the sliced brisket and received chopped that was dry. The coleslaw had turned bad and was ... we'll just bad. the green bean were ok... sorry was just disappointed. The lady that helped us was very polite. ... update. The restroom was a disaster and we got here just after opening.

We are staying the weekend in a cabin near here. We came in around 5:15pm on Saturday, no one was here. My husband picked this place mostly because he was starving and it was close to the cabin. He ordered the two meat Brisket and Sausage with coleslaw and smoked potato salad. I ordered the two meat Brisket and chicken with green beans and smoked potato salad. (Moonshine sauce) Every thing was delicious. I really mean everything. So good I wish we would have eaten here last night. The guys were friendly who worked in here. The place started to fill up around 5:30pm so I guess we beat the crowd. Best of Business to whom ever owns the place. Loved the decor with all the mixed tables and chairs. We will visit again next time we are in this area. I can believe we both ate for $17.00 with tip. Wow!

Okay, so after my first impression while ordering at this place I REALLY didn't think I would like it. However, after eating there I have to admit this was some of the best BBQ I've ever had. When we arrived they were all out or cribs (they're special that evening.) They were also out of pickles, sweet tea, unsweet tea, and I think chicken.) Basically everything but brisket. The girl at the register seemed a little defensive when we were out out that they were out of almost everything. We got what was left. Brisket. I got mine on a baked potato. My husband and mother just had it as a plate. My daughter had it as a kids meal. And I'll be darned if that wasn't some of the best brisket I've ever had. As we were eating an employee found more pickles, made more tea, and even brought us out some extra butter for my potato. So, I thought the staff redeemed themselves because everybody can have a bad day/ bad moment. 10/10 would come again. And hopefully get something besides brisket.

Rib plate with no taste, especially non existent smoke flavor.

I'm trying to figure out how to write this review without being biased. I'll just start by saying, if you live down south, don't expect to come here and get the same thing or a reasonable facsimile thereof that you're used to, especially when it comes to BBQ. I was in the mood for BBQ and passed by this place. The only problem was, I didn't SMELL smoke on the outside of the place when I got there. My first thought was Ruh Roh!! Now I'm thinking here in Georgia there are a few places that are the same and when I walk in I'll smell it. So I walked in. The Walk In: I walked in and said to myself, jackpot!! You can smell the smoke all through this place. I'm not sure which type of wood but I would say hickory. My glands started to salivate. So I ordered a couple of rib plates, and was looking forward to it once I got back to my place. They brought it to the vehicle once it was prepared and everything was good to go. On the drive home, I didn't pay attention but if I had of really paid attention, I would have known something was wrong on the drive back home. I DIDN'T SMELL ANY SMOKE IN THE CAR!! I didn't think about it until I got back. Time to eat: My friend started eating before me then told me, you're not going to like this!! I said Ruh Roh!! Then I really noticed that I didn't smell any smoke at all. I bit into that rib and I was like WTF is this?? I mean, no smoke flavor at all and the seasoning was meh. Yet I saw all of the reviews on this place and figured out if you live there, that's what you're used to as being good bbq. The sides were subpar at best. Just wasn't what I was looking for. Lesson Learned: I've learned that when you leave the south, just because you smell smoke doesn't mean you're going to get good smoked meat. Smoke is my pet peeve when it comes to BBQ. I have to taste it!!

My husband and I were visiting Beavers Bend and had a craving for BBQ. We searched online and came across this place. We decided to go and try it out, but the address that Google had not updated to the new location so we were lost and ate somewhere else that night. The next day we were so happy we found the place. FYI - Adam and Eve coffee shop is in the same place as Rock Bottom Boyz BBQ. We were confused at first to see if we came to the right place, but again happy to have found the place. We both got the brisket. I chose the grilled potato salad and mac n cheese for my sides. The brisket was delicious and juicy. There's a variety of bbq sauce to choose from such as Moonshine and Original. I chose the original and it did not disappoint. But what took the show for me was that potato salad. This was nothing that I had tasted before and I wish I had a plate of that now. The potatos are sliced and slightly grilled with the perfect dressing. To top off our meal, we got the pecan custard. Who I assumed was the owner saw we only got one and offered another one on the house. Such a kind gesture! My husband absolutely loved the custard, especially with vanila vanilla ice cream. If you're in the area and want some great BBQ, definitely come out Rock Bottom Boyz.

Amazing food and service! Portions were huge and the sides were amazing. The hot bbq sauce was my favorite. Nice lunch during our stay!

Naamans BBQ is the definition of "so close, yet so far." First off, credit where it's due--the…read moreservice was great, the place was clean, and walking in smelled like a BBQ candle made by angels. The outdoor area was awesome for the kids to play, and being in a plaza with other shops makes it an easy family stop. Now for the food plot twist. I ordered the pulled pork, ribs, and chicken. The chicken showed up ready to represent the whole team--tender, smoky, and honestly the MVP of the tray. The pulled pork, however, tasted like it had been placed into the warming tray first thing that morning and was still serving overtime by the time I got there. The ribs looked like competition BBQ, but flavor-wise they mainly introduced me to black pepper and then left the conversation. Sides review: the twice baked potatoes were seasoned well and definitely pulled their weight. The mac and cheese was okay--nothing offensive, nothing life-changing, just there for moral support. Overall, this place has a lot going for it: great service, family-friendly setup, clean atmosphere, and some real potential. But the BBQ was more of a split decision than a knockout.

The ribs had a unique, slightly crystallized crust that worked well and added a nice texture. The meat beans were just okay, but the green beans were very good and clearly well seasoned. Their BBQ sauce was excellent and complemented the meats without overpowering them. We also had the Caesar salad with smoked chicken, and that was a pleasant surprise. The chicken was awesome; very juicy and full of smoke flavor. Overall, solid food with some real standouts, especially the brisket and smoked chicken. Worth the stop.
