I met Rocio through BreakthruFitness and she is such a blessing. She is incredibly knowledgeable in how to prevent injuries and how to rehabilitate old ones. I struggle a lot with my hips and bad knees and she is always comes up with alternative workouts that are low impact but still give me a great burn. Rocio is super high energy and is always dancing around while I'm doing sets which is a welcome distraction from the pain I'm in The thing that I respect most about Rocio is her insane attention to detail in regards to form. To her, form is critical. I always felt scared about the weight section of the gym, frankly because I have no strength and no idea how to use the weights. She made me more comfortable with the weights by constantly saying "it doesn't matter if you're doing a little bit of weight as long as your form is right." Sure enough, when she thinks the weight affects my workout form, she adjusts (because I have pride issues and think I can handle when I really can't) and she's probably prevented injuries and helped me be more aware of my body. I can proudly say that her voice is in my head when I work out or when I want to cheat on my diet (that she custom made for me!).. all the time. It helps keep me in track. I have been losing a pound a week thanks to her help! I am in the process of convincing my mom to start seeing her! I'm a broke college student but to be honest the knowledge, support and work out sessions with her are soooo worth it. read more

Rocio leads a Circuit Blast class at my corporate gym and she brings high energy and fun to the workout but pushes you hard for a full 30 minutes. You definitely feel it the next day but it's worth it when you see and feel the results. I Started doing Pilates several months ago because I needed something that would be easy on my body, I had lower back pain and a bad knee and wanted results.
