I've taken several exercise classes, but I haven't found any place that tailors the instruction to each individual like this one. Even though it's a group class, Lisa pays attention to each and every person. read more

My wife and I had a great time at her beginner class! The class felt like it flowed super well and even the beginner class felt really challenging. Lisa was really knowledgeable and helpful in guiding us through all the form and making sure we were doing all the movements correctly. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a Pilates instructor! read more

I've taken two group Pilates classes with Lisa so far, and honestly, it's been such a great experience. I'm already planning to go back and am excited to make this part of my regular routine. A couple of weeks ago, I took my very first Pilates class ever. I was a little nervous going in. I'm not very active, and I wasn't sure how I'd do on the reformer machine. But the studio has a relaxed, welcoming vibe, and everyone was super friendly, which really helped put me at ease. Lisa is awesome--she's super knowledgeable, down-to-earth, and makes class really fun. She explained everything clearly, offered helpful tips throughout, and made sure everyone felt comfortable, no matter their level. I especially appreciated how she gave personalized modifications based on each person's needs. Most recently, I took the Pilates Reformer Flow class, which was a great mix of stretching, core work, and balance exercises. It was definitely a workout, but not in an overwhelming way. After the intro class, I left feeling stretched, more aligned, and surprisingly relaxed. After the Reformer Flow class, I left feeling tired in the best way (the "I got a good workout in today" kind of tired) and honestly, a little proud of myself for sticking with it. If you're thinking about trying Pilates or just want a supportive, enjoyable group class, I definitely recommend Lisa's. I'll be back next week! :) read more

I was looking for a Pilates studio after hurting my back and wanting to build my core and found Yolisa on yelp. I'm new to Pilates, and Lisa has been great at showing me the correct form which I felt I couldn't really learn in a large group class setting. She cares deeply about wanting her clients to build strength. I have recommended her to a couple friends who have all loved her teaching style and have become her clients. She is warm and personable and is in amazing shape (which you want to see in your Pilates instructor as a motivator). Highly recommend if you're looking for a private or semi private Pilates experience! read more

It was my very first time learning Pilates, and as a beginner, I was a little nervous. However, I couldn't have asked for a better experience than the classes at this studio. The instructor, Lisa, is incredibly patient and understanding, which was a huge relief for me. She provided clear, step-by-step instructions and made adjustments when needed to ensure I was getting the most out of each exercise. Lisa is a highly skilled and knowledgeable instructor who guided me through every movement with precision and care. Lisa truly stands out as one of the best Pilate trainers you can find. I've been practicing pilate for a while in London and in the Bay Area, and I've taken group classes and been with personal trainers so I understand the importance of a good instructor. Lisa is passionate, professional and knowledgeable. During her sessions time flies by because it's fun, yet It's hard. My muscles are fired up and sometimes shake from challenging poses. I always feel I gained more strength and mobility at the end of each session. I'd recommend Lisa to anyone without hesitation. I've looked through a lot of Pilates gym and instructor before I found this place. Upon reading all the reviews of several places, I found Yolisa Pilates the most suitable for me. I am picky when it comes to finding a private instructor, because honestly, meeting the right teacher is important to improving. I was looking for an instructor that really assesses my base level and pushes me to my limits and caters the workout to my needs based on my strong and weak areas. Reviews seemed good, so I checked it out. I was not disappointed. The reviews were right. She's friendly and prompt at following up. I can tell she really likes to teach and truly wants people to get better. I signed up for the duo 10session with my bf, who I persuaded to try it out for improving flexibility, endurance, and core strength. My bf actually sweats more than I do! So guys, don't underestimate Pilates (I know some guys are shy or underestimates Pilates as workout). All in all, I'd definitely recommend Lisa if you're looking for a good instructor! if not the packages, at least give one lesson a try. read more

I had been looking for a Pilates spot in the city I work in. There are quite a few in La Habra. However, not one like this particular suite. As a first timer, Pilates seemed so intimidating but as always when you have not tried something it can feel like this. I reached out to do a class, went & enjoyed it. I enjoyed the class so much I went out on a limb and dived into the 10 pkg class. Lisa will correct your form immediately and praise when she sees your improvements. Very happy I joined her classes. The class is for up to 3 ppl., no more than 3 at a time. I highly recommend!! read more

I have had multiple gym memberships, and always end up cancelling them because I don't get my money's worth. But I like that I get to save money for when I'm busy and can't go in for a week. She responds super quickly. I'm not someone who works out consistently, but her sessions are so informative and time really slips away! I love the one on one attention she gives to her clients, each and every sessions is personalized to which areas you want to hit. Her studio is ridiculously clean. I love that I don't have to worry about anyone working out around me, and I really think I see changes bc she catches when I'm not engaging the right areas. read more

I've been telling the world I wanted to start pilates, so I was pretty thrilled when my friend invited me to a class with her. After the first class, I immediately booked several classes because I really needed to level up my health + strength. I've been to about 12 or so sessions and I absolutely LOVE IT! It's light cardio mixed with weight + core training with a splash of yoga and Lisa trains/guides you so well :) Lisa is really attentive and encouraging throughout the workouts and my body definitely feels stronger and toned up now. She is definitely interested on what your workout goals are and is awesome at providing a movement that really pushes and strengthens specific areas. I seem try a new method of working out my core, arms, and legs each time I go, it's quite amazing what you can do on the reformer! Pilates by Yolisa - Reformer for private session - Pilates Near Me - La Habra, California

I was never really a exercise kind of person. So when my friend asked me to come try I thought I would just try it a couple times. Now it has been more than 5 months and we are going to continue. Lisa makes the class fun and she keeps us motivated. Since I never really exercised and maybe just tried yoga classes a couple of times. At the beginning I wasnt really able to follow the instructions. Now I have muscles and I am more toned than ever. She pays attention to our progress and ups the skill level when appropriate. So compared to group classes where you get bored after a couple classes this is so much better. Her everlasting energy is also why the class is always fun. Since I have been coming to Lisa I have gotten so many positive comments from friends and coworkers saying I look good. So I can definitely give her my 5 star thumbs up. read more

I had no idea what pilates was, and I had no idea what to expect when I first walked into the studio. But after one session, I was absolutely hooked. First off, Lisa is an amazing instructor. I informed her at the beginning of what I was looking to get out of pilates, and she was able to design a workout to fulfill my exact needs. Since I knew nothing about pilates, she was very helpful in patiently teaching me the basic exercises from the start, making sure I always have proper form. I've been having lower back pain the past several weeks, but after a couple sessions with Lisa, it is much better already. Her workouts were the perfect intensity for me, and she also kept it fun and engaging throughout! I used to think pilates would hardly be a worthwhile investment of my time, but I realized how wrong I was once I started coming. Even if you mainly lift or play sports, pilates is a perfect complementary workout designed to strengthen your entire body. Since starting pilates, my core strength, stability, and overall flexibility have been much improved, helping my performance both in the gym and in everyday life. I am already looking much more sleek and toned from when I first started, and I absolutely plan to continue coming. A huge thank you to Lisa for opening my eyes to the beautiful world of pilates! Highly recommend coming here! read more
