Pros: Friendly front desk staff, always say hello and goodbye for the most part. Everyone who works out there is cool and polite Bathrooms are taken care of (I'm there early morning) TV's work Fireman are usually there and are cool Cons: Equipment is need of maintenance, a lot of it Elliptical machines upstairs are mostly unbalanced. Some have parts falling off. As of this morning only three of the eight work properly because the rest are off balance. Treadmill mats are loose. Injury waiting to happen Cable machines in front of the pool are mostly non-functional. A few are missing handles and have sharp edges. They have no notices on them that they are broken so you get to look real cool going from one to the other seeing if they work. They are proud of the new paint being done, which is great, but I can't believe the lack of maintenance. It's been months now. The clock doesn't even work. I hate to say this, but given the reviews in neighboring cities, this tracks.

There is no scale on the gym floor so you can't weigh yourself at all. Apparently it's been sent to corporate but it's obvious they don't care. Seems like a simple fix. Urinals Are so low that piss splashes everywhere no matter what. If you have sandals on, your feet "will" get wet. Steam room never get sanitized. Same pubic hair stuck to the wall for weeks. Not saying gold's was much better but if you're rebranding, you would think they would try to do better. That's corporate America for you.

First given that we are still in a pandemic I had no plans to return to a gym until things improve. But who needs a gym when Adonis has a mobile open air gym! I feel safe and comfortable working out. Everything is always clean and his equipment is in good shape. Adonis is flexible and accomodating when scheduling workouts which is great! He is supportive and encouraging but definitely pushes you. I enjoy his exercises because they often target multiple areas rather than just a single muscle. For example, this weekend we did a triceps workout that had a balance component so I also got a core workout! His passion for his work comes through not just in the cool person he is but also in the attention he has given to his mobile gym. Every week, he has tweaked something, added something new, etc. Literally every piece of the gym inside AND outside has a purpose! I can't imagine training with anyone else! Super exited to continue on this journey!

He always dreamed about having a mobile fitness and now is coming into reality. I enjoy his mobile fitness because he literally has all the equipment that you need and he comes to you. During my recovery, there were several week long gaps of not actually being able to get any physical therapy sessions due to workers comp being a headache. I researched online and found Coach Mike's physical therapy center. I reached out to him and told him my situation. Mike welcomed me into his gym with open arms knowing my unusual scenario with the possibility of having to relocate at any moment. I've only saw Coach Mike for two physical therapy sessions and been to my previous physical therapy center a total of twenty-four times. Coach Mike leveled me up with reduced pain and improved movement in just those two sessions than I've had at the previous physical therapy center. The at-home workouts Coach Mike had me do were challenging and organized unlike the other physical therapy center I was going to. The one-on-one communication with Coach Mike is also important as I wasn't able to communicate with any of my physical therapist from my other physical therapy center until the next time I saw them. I'm thankful for having Coach Mike in my corner because without him I would probably be far behind in recovery. I truly do recommend Coach Mike for physical therapy because he actually cares about his patients. Thank you Coach Mike.

I honestly felt lucky to have find out about Mike. He was able to pinpoint my issues almost instantly after getting me to do a few stretches and movements. We then started working right away on movements for my shoulder. I was super impressed because I've never felt the activations of my shoulder ligaments like I did with Mike. After our session, he even helped me out with my other minor issues such as my left wrist and lower back. He provided me with all of the exercises and warm ups via an app and it's super organized. I highly recommend Primetime! (I even got my wife to go here)

He was professional, approachable, and took the time to clearly walk me through everything without making it feel overwhelming. What stood out the most was how easy he made the whole experience, he answered all my questions, stayed patient, and made sure I felt confident with my decision. That kind of service really sets the tone for new members. Mike is definitely an asset to the team and represents the gym very well. Appreciate the great experience.

I joined UFC Gym La Mirada four years ago after one Jiu-Jitsu trial class with Coach Anthony…read moreRenteria, and that single class changed my path completely. Anthony wasn't just a coach -- he built athletes. He mentored, developed, and inspired students like me to grow beyond what we thought was possible. The Jiu-Jitsu program had identity, structure, and leadership. Recently, Coach Mikey Alcantar has been a great addition. He's skilled, motivating, and brings high-level instruction to the mats. The students genuinely respect him However, it's frustrating to see the gym consistently fail to retain quality Jiu-Jitsu coaches. Strong leadership keeps a program alive, and the instability has affected the community. On top of that, the Jiu-Jitsu class schedule is limited and not flexible enough for working adults. Serious students need consistent training opportunities. Because of poor coach retention and restricted class times, many dedicated students have felt forced to leave and train elsewhere. The gym has potential -- but without stable coaching and better scheduling, it's difficult for the Jiu-Jitsu program to thrive long term.
