    Results with Enrique guijosa
    Ricca A.

Although all the trainers are nice. Since I started coming here. I have switched trainers to get a more serious program to reach my fitness goal. As I was not seeing the results I wanted. Enrique is great! He has coached me and I have lost over 30lbs and am in the best shape of my life this far. I highly recommend him.

Easy 5 star. Was doing DYI work outs for years and decided to kick it up a bit with a trainer based on my son's advice. Big difference in just a few months. Dropped 2% body fat and added muscle. Jeff is great and will work with your current situation to get you where you want to go but they all are good there. Flexable, friendly and well priced. Fun crowd too, a real local community place. I'm staying and I recommend them

First time visiting a UFC gym facility. Upon entering I was greeted at the front desk by Gabe, who…read morewas very welcoming and friendly. He then connected me with Josh (in sales), who introduced himself and gave me a thorough tour of the entire facility. He addressed all my questions about the gym and the individual equipment. Although, I was here only for a day pass, the staff treated me as if I was considering a full time membership. This spoke volumes of the company's commitment to providing each potential member with the same respect regardless if they ultimately decided to purchase a membership or not. Kudos, to both Josh and Gabe for their professionalism and outstanding customer service. I'd ask management acknowledge them in some fashion for their good works. When visiting Los Angeles and in need of a workout UFC is the place.

Pretty disappointed in this one. I started looking for a new gym and this was my first stop, never…read morecoming back. I will start by saying the facility is nearby, very clean, patrons clean up after themselves well and aside from the typical phone scrollers hogging machines, I was able to get in a decent workout session each time. Equipment was new and several varieties, lots of heavy bags, octagon, challenging obstacles. I walked in and first thing I hear is "they can't come in!" Referring to my kids. I had heard that this gym allowed ages 8+ with parent supervision. Whatever the case maybe, no way to greet a potential customer. Automatic turn off. I respect the rules, but the next time I went, I saw a ton of kids walking the floor. What gives? My kids are almost teens! This alone swayed me away from becoming a member. It turns out the manager was the manager for this location, which is shocking to me. It must trickle down to the staff, they were not very friendly, knowledgeable of the membership options and the pricing did not appeal to me one bit. I hate to stick with 24 hour fitness, but sadly it's a better choice.

She clearly explained everything included in my membership, made sure I understood what I was signing up for, and answered all of my questions. I'm excited to start my membership with EOS Fitness! 1 Star -- Extremely disappointing personal training experience…read more My experience with the personal training department at this gym was extremely disappointing, and I would strongly caution anyone against signing up for their personal training program without carefully understanding how the cancellation process works. I was initially advertised a free personal training session with no commitment. However, what followed felt much more like an aggressive sales pitch. The trainer eventually brought out the manager, who continued pushing me to purchase a personal training agreement. I ultimately agreed to eight sessions because I was offered what seemed like a good deal. My understanding was that after those eight sessions, the program would transition into an ongoing monthly commitment. I specifically did not want a recurring monthly commitment. I only wanted the eight sessions I had agreed to. After completing four sessions, I proactively went into the gym and asked staff exactly what I needed to do to cancel. I was given a specific date and specific instructions by the fitness manager, and I followed those instructions exactly. I submitted my cancellation request as instructed. Despite doing everything I was told to do, I was subsequently charged for four additional personal training sessions after I had already requested cancellation. This is where the experience became especially frustrating. When I went in to cancel, the fitness manager Abdul Rahim Mansoori "Sia" specifically told me that if I received any additional charges for personal training, he would refund them. After the first additional charge appeared, I contacted him, and he again acknowledged the situation and said he would take care of the refund. Then the communication essentially stopped. I called multiple times. I emailed multiple times. I attempted to get an explanation and simply have the charges refunded. I eventually managed to speak with the fitness manager again roughly two months later, only to receive generic explanations about the gym's policies. I was even offered a free personal training session as an apology. That is not what I was asking for. I didn't want another free session. I wanted the money that I was charged after submitting my cancellation request refunded. At the end I was charged an extra FOUR sessions even though I followed the fitness managers exact cancellation instructions. I also specifically reached out to Brian Morris, who handles cancellation requests on the corporate side, regarding my situation. I did not receive a response to my email. What makes this experience particularly frustrating is the contrast between the way the gym treats you when they are trying to sell you something versus when you're trying to cancel it. When I initially signed up, I was charged for my first session almost immediately. Yet when I attempted to cancel, the process took months and resulted in additional charges. That doesn't feel like good customer service. It feels extremely profit-driven and predatory. If the gym can process charges within 24 hours of signing someone up, there should be a similarly efficient process for handling a legitimate cancellation request. Customers shouldn't have to repeatedly call, email, and chase down management for months just to get an explanation for charges they believe should not have occurred. The biggest lesson I took away from this experience is that the personal training department seemed extremely interested in getting me to sign up, but once I became a customer who needed assistance with cancellation and billing, that level of attention disappeared. I strongly recommend that anyone considering personal training--or any subscription-based program at this gym--think twice before signing up at all. Personally, after this experience, I would tell people not to give this gym their business, not to give them their money, and to take their business somewhere else. There are plenty of gyms and training programs that will treat their customers with more transparency, respect, and integrity. I would strongly encourage anyone considering this gym to look elsewhere. My experience left me feeling like the priority was making money, not taking care of the customer.
