I couldn't pass up the 4th of July sale, and the monthly body scan progress check sealed the deal…read more Jocelynn signed me up and she was incredibly informative. She clearly explained everything included in my membership, made sure I understood what I was signing up for, and answered all of my questions. I'm excited to start my membership with EOS Fitness! Thank you, Jocelynn, and the friendly young man at the front desk for making my sign-up experience so welcoming and enjoyable.

1 Star -- Extremely disappointing personal training experience…read more My experience with the personal training department at this gym was extremely disappointing, and I would strongly caution anyone against signing up for their personal training program without carefully understanding how the cancellation process works. I was initially advertised a free personal training session with no commitment. However, what followed felt much more like an aggressive sales pitch. The trainer eventually brought out the manager, who continued pushing me to purchase a personal training agreement. I ultimately agreed to eight sessions because I was offered what seemed like a good deal. My understanding was that after those eight sessions, the program would transition into an ongoing monthly commitment. I specifically did not want a recurring monthly commitment. I only wanted the eight sessions I had agreed to. After completing four sessions, I proactively went into the gym and asked staff exactly what I needed to do to cancel. I was given a specific date and specific instructions by the fitness manager, and I followed those instructions exactly. I submitted my cancellation request as instructed. Despite doing everything I was told to do, I was subsequently charged for four additional personal training sessions after I had already requested cancellation. This is where the experience became especially frustrating. When I went in to cancel, the fitness manager Abdul Rahim Mansoori "Sia" specifically told me that if I received any additional charges for personal training, he would refund them. After the first additional charge appeared, I contacted him, and he again acknowledged the situation and said he would take care of the refund. Then the communication essentially stopped. I called multiple times. I emailed multiple times. I attempted to get an explanation and simply have the charges refunded. I eventually managed to speak with the fitness manager again roughly two months later, only to receive generic explanations about the gym's policies. I was even offered a free personal training session as an apology. That is not what I was asking for. I didn't want another free session. I wanted the money that I was charged after submitting my cancellation request refunded. At the end I was charged an extra FOUR sessions even though I followed the fitness managers exact cancellation instructions. I also specifically reached out to Brian Morris, who handles cancellation requests on the corporate side, regarding my situation. I did not receive a response to my email. What makes this experience particularly frustrating is the contrast between the way the gym treats you when they are trying to sell you something versus when you're trying to cancel it. When I initially signed up, I was charged for my first session almost immediately. Yet when I attempted to cancel, the process took months and resulted in additional charges. That doesn't feel like good customer service. It feels extremely profit-driven and predatory. If the gym can process charges within 24 hours of signing someone up, there should be a similarly efficient process for handling a legitimate cancellation request. Customers shouldn't have to repeatedly call, email, and chase down management for months just to get an explanation for charges they believe should not have occurred. The biggest lesson I took away from this experience is that the personal training department seemed extremely interested in getting me to sign up, but once I became a customer who needed assistance with cancellation and billing, that level of attention disappeared. I strongly recommend that anyone considering personal training--or any subscription-based program at this gym--think twice before signing up at all. Personally, after this experience, I would tell people not to give this gym their business, not to give them their money, and to take their business somewhere else. There are plenty of gyms and training programs that will treat their customers with more transparency, respect, and integrity. I would strongly encourage anyone considering this gym to look elsewhere. My experience left me feeling like the priority was making money, not taking care of the customer.

He then connected me with Josh (in sales), who introduced himself and gave me a thorough tour of the entire facility. He addressed all my questions about the gym and the individual equipment. Although, I was here only for a day pass, the staff treated me as if I was considering a full time membership. This spoke volumes of the company's commitment to providing each potential member with the same respect regardless if they ultimately decided to purchase a membership or not. Kudos, to both Josh and Gabe for their professionalism and outstanding customer service. I'd ask management acknowledge them in some fashion for their good works. I will start by saying the facility is nearby, very clean, patrons clean up after themselves well and aside from the typical phone scrollers hogging machines, I was able to get in a decent workout session each time. Equipment was new and several varieties, lots of heavy bags, octagon, challenging obstacles. I walked in and first thing I hear is "they can't come in!" Referring to my kids. I had heard that this gym allowed ages 8+ with parent supervision. Whatever the case maybe, no way to greet a potential customer. Automatic turn off. I respect the rules, but the next time I went, I saw a ton of kids walking the floor. What gives? My kids are almost teens! This alone swayed me away from becoming a member. It turns out the manager was the manager for this location, which is shocking to me. It must trickle down to the staff, they were not very friendly, knowledgeable of the membership options and the pricing did not appeal to me one bit. I hate to stick with 24 hour fitness, but sadly it's a better choice.

I've been a member since 2023. If you're reading OTF reviews you're probably considering joining…read moreand contemplating various fitness formats/gyms etc. You've probably viewed some YouTube videos on how the classes work but essentially at this location you have the following formats - 2G, 3G, Tread 50, Strength 50, and I believe like a lot of OTFs trialing Hyrox format. How it works is you sign up for class on their app. Show up. Eat a bunch of free mints. select a station # on the treadmill or rower (2G) or treadmill or rower or weight floor (3G). If you're in a 2G class you're on treadmill for 23 minutes and weights 23 minutes. If you're in a 3G class you're on treadmill for 14 mins, rower 14 mins, and weights 14 mins. Tread 50 you're on the treadmill whole class (approx 40 mins) Strength 50 you're on the weight floor (approx 40 mins) the whole class. The coaches are there to direct the flow and keep you motivated throughout. Everything is tailored to your abilities and injuries. You can walk, jog, run, haul ass on the treadmills. It is a workout for all ages and abilities. Everyone is kind and welcoming from the members to the coaches. I think the most difficult thing will be taking the first step to give it a shot and then to come back. But if you're reading this then you've made the first step in wanting to change some aspect of your life. Now what you need to do is take the free intro class to get a sense of the place. But 1 class is unlikely to give you the full picture of what OTF can become for you. You need to come back and take those baby steps towards changing your habits. It's never easy starting a new thing. But you need to just show up. Even if you just walk on the treadmills or row casually or do body weight training - just show up. Commit to it. Give it a month before you decide. That's the hardest part. Stop making excuses or pushing it off. You have 1 body and 1 life to live so make it the best life. Ignore the naysayers the negativity and take a step towards change. Don't live with regrets and don't let life pass you by. Shout out to the very sweet, kind, and most important fun OTF crew: Hitch,Rocco, Sarah, Meg, Ray, Hannah, Tiffany, Sareena, Carson, Dakota, Alyssa, Alexa, Kamila,Savanah, Jake, Maddy. Most importantly don't forget to eat the free mints.

When I called regarding a billing issue, Shawn welcomed me warmly and immediately made me feel recognized and valued as a member. He listened carefully and assured me that my concerns would be directed to the appropriate person so the matter could be properly addressed. Prisma, the supervisor, then took the time to thoroughly understand what had happened. She investigated the issue, explored every possible remedy within the scope of her role, and made sure my concerns were not dismissed or passed over. Her professionalism, patience, and willingness to help were truly appreciated. Margarita, the assistant general manager, reviewed the situation in full, identified the error, and took complete accountability on behalf of the company. What impressed me most was that she did not simply blame a system or make excuses. She recognized that the team represents the company and treated the issue with the seriousness and ownership it deserved. She also went a step further by making sure the financial discrepancy was addressed and that I was appropriately compensated for the inconvenience. When I came into the gym, the team carefully removed the outdated payment information, cleared the billing setup, and helped me establish everything correctly from the beginning to reduce the possibility of this happening again. Kevin continued that same level of service. He was gracious, apologetic, attentive, and reassuring. He made it clear that the team would continue taking care of me moving forward. Mistakes can happen in any business. What reveals the quality of an organization is how its people respond when something goes wrong. This team listened, investigated, accepted responsibility, corrected the issue, and treated me with kindness and respect throughout the entire process. The entire Fullerton Chuze Fitness team consistently creates a welcoming and high-performing environment. As someone who has experienced premium fitness clubs where memberships can cost hundreds of dollars, I can honestly say that Chuze has raised the bar for what an affordable fitness center can offer. The quality of the facility, the culture, the cleanliness and especially the customer service demonstrate that an exceptional experience does not have to come with an excessive price. I am extremely appreciative that my concern was not merely acknowledged, but genuinely heard, taken seriously, and fully addressed. I would confidently recommend the Fullerton Chuze Fitness location to everyone I know. Thank you again to Shawn, Prisma, Margarita, Kevin, and the entire team for your accountability, professionalism, empathy, and outstanding service.
