Fincher's at the Stock Show where they had a booth selling Justin Boots -- and the experience was outstanding. Earlier that day, we visited several other booths and honestly felt disappointed. There was very little assistance, and most places seemed overpriced and uninterested in helping customers. Then we wandered into C.B. Fincher's booth and were greeted by J. Morton -- and everything changed. J. helped fit our twin boys and was incredibly patient with them as they tried to figure out what they wanted. He had them try on multiple boots in various sizes and took the time to teach them what to look for in the "perfect fit." He didn't rush them or push a sale. Instead, he focused on making sure they understood the fit and felt confident in their choice. He also made sure we, as parents, were completely comfortable and happy with their selections. The boots worked out great, the price was very fair, and the quality is excellent. What really stood out wasn't just the product -- it was the service. J. Morton was a true salesman in the best sense of the word. It was obvious that he cared more about making us feel welcome and taken care of than simply making a sale. Great prices. Great quality boots. But the real star of this western store is the people. Real quality products and real quality people. We'll absolutely be back. If I could give this store zero stars I would! My complaint is not regarding their products, but…read morerather the service, especially if you are a person of color! My coworker and I dropped by the store this afternoon to purchase some earrings. I needed to replace a broken pair, which I had purchased at this very store some years ago. As we were browsing around, we were followed around the store the entire time we were there. Mind you, none of the non-black patrons were being followed. To avoid being in the store longer than necessary, I asked for assistance to locate what I was looking for. I go over to that section and once again, here comes a store worker, acting as if she had to put product on the shelf in the same area and at the same time I was there. She did the exact same thing in a different aisle that we were in a few minutes prior. She did not to provide assistance or ask if I needed some help, her sole purpose was to keep a watchful eye as if I was there to steal something like a common thief. This was the same woman who was following my coworker and I. Never, in my 56 years on this planet have I ever been treated so poorly! I will never again patronize this store! If you are a person of color, please be mindful of where you spend your money. It definitely shouldn't be in spaces where we are not welcomed. #shoppingwhileblack!

This is a pretty neat shop and it is quite full of interesting and mostly unique items. It was unexpected in Rio Vista, which is a suburb of a suburb of a big city. On my most recent trip in, I was looking for a new cowboy hat. One of mine blew off and got stepped on by Wyatt. It left an unsightly dent on the front of the brim. The sales lady asked if I had the hat saying she might be able to reshape it.... In a manner of 5 minutes, she had it reshaped and looking almost as good as new! Even better, when I asked her how much for fixing my hat? Her reply was "Free!" It's a service they supply when you purchase hats there! What a great value!!
