So brought my jacket to get zipper repaired.... They destroyed my jacket. Gouges on left side of Jacket that are not repairable.. Was told seamstress all of a sudden had back surgery... I would hope so, and hope they weren't lying to me. This is a total replacement of an Jacket, I am hoping all those positive reviews stand for something. This was my first visit, though my husband had bought me a shirt from here last year. They have a ton of leather products here and definitly cater to the biker crowd with a large selection of vests, chaps and an entire room of helmets. They have some really awesome boots here that seem to be great quality and good brands. There was an alcove of various leather luggage and several pieces doubled as coolers, which I liked. Some non leather items include a unique selection of bandanas and a hilarious assortment of stickers. There were a variety of patches and a sign on the door says they sew patches too! There's a variety of prices but everything I wanted was pretty pricey. You have to pay for quality though! It really wasn't as high as I was expecting. Some items I expected closer to $500, but when I flipped the tag it was a little over $200, so this seems like a good find. The only person working was handling a personal emergency call when we entered. The situation was understandable and she checked in with us when she was done. The building doesn't really stand out as it's off a fast section of 380. There are two small shopping centers on the corner and you would probably notice the florist or Subway sign first. They are near the florist and gas station, one building past the subway, but not the same lot as the Subway. I would return, I want to eventually invest in a pair of their boots and I have an unhealthy obsession with luggage! :) read more

If you're sick of paying too much at the Harley shop, this is a great place to get good leather/ simulated leather. Vicki is real nice and plays Christian music throughout the day in her shop. I went in intially looking for bags. I didn't get any because I decided my fat boy looks better without saddlebags. However, as I looked around, I saw a lot of leather that looked good and was very well priced. Just as an example, the saddlebags at Harley were about $800. Here, they were ranging from $100-$150. Vicki is pretty knowledgeable too, as she likes to ride. She rides a white Suzuki, but we Harley guys won't hold that against her. I already got stung buying authentic Harley stuff at the dealer, so I didn't need much except the bags. But if I had it to do over again, I would certainly come back here and get some leathers at a better price. She's got tons of patches, helmets, trinkets, and leather for sure. read more

This is a great place to get excellent quality leather goods at a excellent price. I can barely buy a T Shirt at the local Harley shop but here at Lonestar Leather I have bought many items going back soon to get my leather Crash guards - I checked on Ebay and she is 50% cheaper I love this place and Vicki is a great knowledgeable person she now rides a Harley I bought her Suzuki (Another great deal) before I bought my harley. This little shop rocks. It has more biker stuff in one little shop than a whole rally. If they don't have it they can get it. Leather, patches, helmets, boots, doo dads and all manner of cool stuff. If you are tired of paying top dollar at the dealer they also have knock-off stuff that much cheaper than a dealer. Maybe not quite the quality but not near the price. read more

wow, everyone I know has told me what a great store Lonestar leather shop is, they said Vicki was a great gal, if I needed something and she could find it, she would, I noticed she has a great assortment of patches, including Harley patches, I asked her about a patch, and she rudely told me she is not a Harley dealership, so the 1000.00 dollars I had to spend on leathers... I spent down the rode somewhere else, the other gal in the store was amazing, but I don't think I will go back, lost my business. read more

Over a period of over 5 years our biker community has spent well over 25,000.00 for various items here because the selection is good, and we love supporting local business. With this being said, over the years we were also offered a "club" discount of 10% on any items we purchased. We recently went in and I personally needed to get over $1000.00 in items including a vest, jacket, patches, and helmet. When asking about our "club" or military discount, Vickie the owner rudely stated " my prices are so low we do not offer discounts, and never have of any kind", which I know is a complete lie. When bringing up our previous purchases, and discounts, she blew us off and refused to give us anything. She then had the audacity to charge $68.05 to sew on 3 small patches for one of our new members. 10% may not be very much, but it is a gesture that word of mouth and reputation facilitates. She was so rude, and acted like she was so much better than us, our club will no longer purchase anything from this local business. We used to go in her establishment a lot with new members and show them what to get and she would get them what they needed. It is sad that at the end of the day, this business does not support Military, the biker culture, local clubs and the community. I will make sure to let the other local clubs of her inconstant pricing policy and poor business practices. Beware that most of the leather she carries is from China and Pakistan. Vickie has ok pricing on a few items, but in this case, principal wins. We will not support a business that does not support our Military or our culture! Beware of "sale" and clearance items, you can find most of it online a lot cheaper without being duped! read more
