We pretty much gave up hope of replacing them (unless we wanted to spend over $4,000 for a new pair of similar quality), so we decided to see if they could be fixed. Wow! I called Chuck's Custom Upholstery last week and they immediately put Mike on the phone. These are the nicest guys! Mike came right over the next morning to take a closer look, and said he thought he could fix them. He would take them back to his shop to see if there was anything broken inside. He thought it would be around $200 per chair, plus pickup & delivery. IN JUST 3 DAYS he brought the chairs back with new foam (carefully protected inside by an extra covering of upholstery). He retied the springs and showed us the photos of his entire process. Our chairs feel BRAND NEW. He also stayed right on budget. We HIGHLY recommend these guys. Excellent communication, superb work, and a great attitude to top it off!

As soon as I sent them, he called me right back and patiently walked me through troubleshooting the issue. He easily could have told me I needed a service visit, and I would've had no way of knowing otherwise since this isn't my area of expertise, but instead he was honest, kind, and incredibly helpful. It turned out something was simply unplugged under my chair. Once I plugged it back in, the headrest worked perfectly. The leg recliner still has some issues, but Steve even suggested that I could just use it as a regular chair instead of pushing for a paid repair. Not many people would do that when they could make money. I really appreciated his honesty, patience, and customer service. Steve is a good guy, and I definitely recommend Upholstery Fix.

I went in to repair the seat covers on my Acura RDX. They ordered the material right away and got me scheduled for the very next day, which was super convenient. The job was done neatly and on time, no back-and-forth hassles. They charged $450 for the repair. Their service is great. They communicate via text and email. They had a wait time but they gave us the option of picking up the sectional when they were ready. So we were without the couch for less than a month instead of months while we were next in line. They made my sectional look brand new and contacted me about ways to make it look better. I went in today to get a quote on some canvas panels I needed for a business project. After explaining what I needed the employee that was in there informed me that they didn't want to do the project because they don't do custom work. This is interesting since I thought that's all upholstery shops did was custom work. When I asked him if he had a referral for somebody who would do the job he told me to find someone who was desperate. Unbelievable... Absolutely disgusting. I of course am now on a mission to inform every one of this disgrace of an establishment. Hopefully the empty store was indicative of how long they will be in business.
