He easily could have told me I needed a service visit, and I would've had no way of knowing otherwise since this isn't my area of expertise, but instead he was honest, kind, and incredibly helpful. It turned out something was simply unplugged under my chair. Once I plugged it back in, the headrest worked perfectly. The leg recliner still has some issues, but Steve even suggested that I could just use it as a regular chair instead of pushing for a paid repair. Not many people would do that when they could make money. I really appreciated his honesty, patience, and customer service. Steve is a good guy, and I definitely recommend Upholstery Fix.

The fabric is heavier than usual and the chairs have a shaped back, adding to the difficulty. In addition, there is cording along every seam. They look better than new! When I first had him to redo my Allen White sofa, he noticed that the back side had not been sheared, and was left plain.
