I ordered the new "scratch resistant" fabric that was needed to cover both arms on my piece of furniture. Ignacio was very nice and highly professional. He came out to my home and carefully placed my furniture piece in his van. Ignacio asked me what fabric color I would like to use for the trim which was very thoughtful of him. He did an amazing job of removing the damaged fabric and replacing it with my new fabric. He brought my re-upholstered furniture back to my home about 2 weeks later. Now my cat can enjoy her "furniture scratch pad routine" without doing any visible damage to it! Ignacio's professional fees to perform these specialized services were very reasonable. I contacted Jeff at Markham Restoration, they came by picked up the chairs. When they started cleaning the chairs the fabric started separating and falling apart, age mostly. We decided to reupholstered all 8 chairs in a beautiful fabric that Jeff sent me a sample of and they did an outstanding, quality job. But we were not in a rush so it was fine. The results are wonderful!! They even added extra fabric for the headrest area so we can wash it when needed. The chair legs was reattached beautifully and very strong and stable. It was a little pricey but we selected a good fabric and our chair looks like it just came from the showroom! Highly recommend for any work needed on a piece of furniture you value.

He offered a full refund, but I felt it was only fair to take only a partial refund since the ottoman is completed and looks decent. I appreciated Dan's professionalism in the end and his making things right with me. I have changed my review from 2 to 4 stars and would possibly consider doing business again with him in the future. ORIGINAL REVIEW: The owner, Dan, came to my house to look at a large basic ottoman that I wanted made into a storage ottoman. He was confident in his abilities to do the work and told me it would take 2 weeks. I waited the 2 weeks, but when I called him to ask about delivery, I was told it was not ready. That was inconvenient since I had already made plans for the day of delivery and the day he said it would be delivered. 5 days later, my ottoman was delivered. There were huge hinges on the ottoman that were a total eyesore. I told Dan that the hinges should not be showing, and that a storage ottoman has hidden hinges. He told me he would order other hinges and bring them over to replace the ugly large ones. Almost 2 weeks later, actually 12 days, 2 people showed up with a very thin, continuous hinge for installation. They showed me what they were going to do, but decided it wouldn't really work. Plus, it wouldn't hide the large holes that had been drilled into the wood frame when the large ugly hinges were installed. They finally decided the best plan of action was to take the ottoman back to the shop and get a better hinge. The girl who came with the guy at this time told me I would be priority and that she would call me the next morning with an update. Nothing. No call. I was not surprised. I texted Dan the following day and asked him to call me. He said he couldn't because he was out of town. This was a Saturday, Sept 4th, and their hours state that they are open on Saturdays. After some back and forth, he told me he had ordered the parts and they would be in by Thursday of the following week. Well...... I finally heard from him again on Sept. 15th saying that the team was going to deliver the ottoman. Later that day, I was told it would be the 16th. Would you believe after being told originally that this entire job would take 2 weeks, it took over 6 weeks, and was returned with the original hinges. All they did was move them so they couldn't be seen as much from the outside?!? First of all, this company is totally unreliable, unprofessional, and cannot be trusted. Dan is an expert at talking his way around the lies he tells, probably because he's had a lot of practice. I simply became exhausted dealing with him. I gave them 2 stars because I'm a nice person and because the ottoman looks good (it was brand new when this ordeal started), except for the hinges that can still be seen. It can now be used as a storage ottoman, which is what I initially wanted. I just expected someone who was professional and someone who actually knew what they were doing since they said they could do the job. There was nothing and no one professional about this company. Please look elsewhere for any upholstery needs you may have.

Quality of work was excellent, just had a few hiccups throughout the process that prevented me from…read moregiving five stars. I had some tears in my car's leather seats so I had this company perform the repairs. Fransisco comes to your house, picks up the seat cushions (he takes them out himself) and then returns them and reinstalls them. First the pros: the repairs are like it never even happened (see attached photos). It is convenient that he comes to your house, you don't have to take it to a shop. Fransisco is very reasonable with price and is very easy to work with. Cons: He was late in when he came to pick up the seats. The window was 11-3 and he showed up at 4. Had I known he was running late I would've been able to do some things as opposed to waiting at the house for him. When he did show up he couldn't take one of my seats because his van was too full, so he had to come back the following day anyway. When removing a seat Fransico broke a bracket cover, but was very ok with deducting the replacement cost ($20) from the bill. He also flipped a bolt around with the seat belt, causing the belt to twist and be uncomfortable to use. He fixed all these things, but it would have been nice if they hadn't needed fixing in the first place. Thus the deduction of a star.
