My refurbished dresser!
Annie R.

I had a vintage bamboo furniture set that I inherited from my grandmother it was in pretty bad shape and I took it to a different place and they made it even worse. When I found Aaron's s touch up they took a look at the pieces and gave me realistic expectations on what they could do to repair it. I worked with a man named Ricky who was responsive and when I got the furniture back it exceeded my expectations! Because it has sentimental value to me it was worth saving and I'm so glad I did. I highly recommend this place this is an amazing small business and I will definitely do future projects with them.

Before and after of antique nightstand

I had a great experience here. I have a piece of antique solid wood furniture that I mistakenly tried to spray paint white to cover up the years of water stains and dulled varnish. Aaron's came within $20 of their estimate and the piece came out beautifully. You'd never guess the thing is half a century old. I sent Aaron's a photo of my dresser to match the stain to and they totally nailed it. It took longer to get the nightstand back than they initially guessed, but they were responsive through Yelp messaging and I wasn't in a rush. I'll be returning here for future refinishing work!

Had these guys pick up my lazyboy sofa and love seat. Given that this type of work is labor intensive and that these are recliners they did an OK job. I'm sure they are better at smaller pieces. When they delivered them back to my house and I looked at the invoice versus the estimate it was almost four times the price. I was in sticker shock because with the price I paid to have them reupholstered I could have bought a new set. In summary after some back and fourth they decided to bring down the price. I appreciate them working with me but I'm not so sure I would have gone this route knowing how much it was going to come out. A more accurate estimate would have been helpful. I am attaching before and after photos to let you decide.

Was a black torn up old 50's chair....they refinished the wood and upholstery.

The pretty much corner the market but weren't the most pleasant to work with, especially over the phone.

We've been talking for a few years about getting it restored. Upholsterers say, "You'd be better off just buying a new one" but we couldn't find one we liked. Arnold, his Dad, and their upholsterers REBUILT our chair and recovered it, mostly in leather. The patterned fabric covers the back too. And they repaired the mechanicals and re-finished the legs. We had agreed that if one hide wasn't enough to cover everything that we would use that fabric for the back and the WINGS on the sides. When they came back and said that still wasn't going to be enough and recommended the sides under the arms, I balked at first. I said the fabric was supposed to be an ACCENT if we HAD to. I felt like this was too much. 1/2 the chair was now fabric. But it was going to add ~$300 for a 2nd hide and my wife thought it would be OK so I relented. I'm glad I did. I don't think this is too much.   It IS as comfy as we had hoped. The mechanism is like silk. It feels good. It SMELLS good. Probably good for another 30 years!
