It's always a bit nerve racking to find someone online and not from word of mouth, but this worked out very well. He got them done quicker than the estimate and kept me in the loop the entire time; from when the material was ordered to when he was starting on the project. I am so glad that I chose to trust David and Nick to repair my chair. I had my chair for 6 years and use it daily for a few hours a day. David replied back to me immediately after I sent him a picture of the broken bracket that holds the spring on my chair (Friday) and quoted me an estimate the same day. After searching the internet for an upholstery shop that could cover my motorcycle sissy pad I found David at Freedom Upholstery. We exchanged contact info and I sent him a few pics. He was quick to respond, honest, fair, and exceeded my expectations from his quality of his work and honoring his word. All very rare qualities in todays day and age! My car center console needed to be recovered. He added new padding and soaked the leather prior to installation so it stretched perfectly over the plastic console base. Who knew, I never would have known to soak it! He also added plastic between the leather and padding for water protection. The finished console turned out perfect, and saved me hours. I am very particular; I will definitely save his contact info for future projects. Highly recommend if you want a project to turn out perfect and you don't have the tools or experience to do it yourself. read more

We have a sectional sofa and some of the cushions had tears in them. Our options were to get them repaired or buy a new sofa. Thankfully David came to the rescue and saved the cushions. This is an update to our previous review of Freedom Upholstery. After our review, David contacted us in regards to our leather sectional. He apologized for the misunderstanding and we started new. David came and picked up the sectional, repaired the tear and returned it to us today. His work is awesome! He got the work completed in a timely manner and at a very reasonable price, considering the amount of effort we know had to be performed just to get to the repair.
