Larry is just wonderful. Spoke to him on the phone and told him we loved our 15 year old leather group and that we didn't want to replace it but that it had been heavily damaged over the years by our dogs hair oil and just general use. He asked us to send him pictures (see attached) and that he would let us know if he could repair it. Once receiving the pictures he promptly called us to review what we wanted and setup an appointment to visually inspect the furniture in person. He arrived as promised and inspected the furniture in detail . He then walked us through the repairs that would be needed, informed us on how to protect it better in the future and then quoted us a price that I was totally surprised by because it was so reasonable. He then ordered the materials that were needed after we agreed to the repairs and then picked up the portable parts 3 days later to repair at his shop. Hen then brought those back the following weekend and completed the repairs at the house. When we came into the room when he was finished we were shocked!!!! The furniture looked like it did the day we bought it 15 years earlier. All of the scratches, deep stains and marks where we had tried to clean it were gone and the leather was pristine. Larry knew we were on a budget due to being furloughed from our jobs due to COVID19 and then personally walked us through how to restuff all of the cushions ourselves to keep that particular cost low. We ordered the cushion foam on line from the company he recommended and the stuffing for the back cushions and pillows from Walmart. This saved us about a $1000 dollars. Larry is a very interesting person, and we had some great conversations and he is a professional and friendly person as well. I will welcome him back into our house at anytime. Our 15+ years of hard living on our much loved comfortable Natuzzi sofa and love seat looked to be about over. But before we began the search for replacements we called Precision and are we ever happy we did! Larry promptly made arrangements for an estimate and advised us on ways to save money while achieving the restoration we hoped for. He was undaunted by the stains and scratches contributed by each of our six grandkids, the dark center cushion oiled from the generous coat s of our two spoiled standard Australian Labradoodles, remainders of red wine splotches or the light buff original color. Oh, no. Not Larry. The man bravely scheduled a work date and we were ready to go...then he called. Some time had opened up and the product was prepared so we could proceed earlier than planned. Larry arrived early for his challenge, prepared the surrounding area for protection and went to work. His magic had worked and the pieces looked better than I'd remembered from new. But this story is not yet over....i gasped when I lifted the protective pad I'd spread after the pieces had dried. (The dogs you know) one cushion sported what looked to be spots of red and smears into the leather...what to do? What to do? Well my go-to person would have to be The Man much as I dreaded showing him the damage . What a sport! He arrived next morning, assessed the problem, hit it with his magic potions and voila! the damage was no more. Still a mystery, I acknowledged the damage had happened on my watch and offered to pay him for the repair. He DECLINED! What a true professional: a mixture of artistry and science, of patience and persistence. I had an expensive, navy blue, leather "dream" couch that I purchased in 1996. Being a bachelor until 2018 I thought the natural decline of it's look and functionality just added character UNTIL I got married in September 2018. My beautiful new wife, who loves to decorate, thought otherwise about the worn down areas that were no longer navy blue, the discolored splotches from cat barf and the dilapidated, saggy cushions could NOT be classified as "shabby chic." We own a couch, 2 chairs and ottoman purchased ~20 years ago and not maintained well. Leather was extremely dry and seats were very faded - we were considering purchasing new. I read reviews for Precision Leather and decided to get an estimate. Larry came out and his knowledge and experience was quickly evident. We hired Larry to restore the color and finish to our furniture and the results were shocking in that the color was a dead match for the samples still attached under the cushions and when he finished they really did look new again and the soft feel was coming back. Of course the deeper scratches are still there - Larry can't turn water into wine either - but they are hardly noticeable and for a fraction of purchasing new we have a new lease on our furniture's life. I will maintain (condition) the leather more regularly and expect it to last many more years to come. Our sofa, love seat, and chair were extremely sun faded. We asked Larry if he could save them. He gave us a fair bid, and we scheduled the work to be done. The furniture was picked up on a Monday and returned on Friday. Larry always arrived on time. The movers he used were very careful and were polite. The transformation was amazing. Not only was the color restored, but oil stains were removed. The furniture will last for years. After a few days we noticed a small scuff on a corner of the love seat that might have gotten scuffed in the move. I called Larry and asked if I could have a little touch up stain. Larry made an appointment to come to our home and brought me some stain and showed me how to fix the very small scuff. Service after the sale was excellent. We have a blue leather set (couch, large chair, and ottoman) that over 19 years faded to a grey color, we were considering donating it, but then found Precision Leather! Larry was very professional, helpful, and courteous both on the phone and emails. Larry with Precision Leather is a perfectionist. Like one of the other reviewers mentioned, the reviewer thought he is a perfectionist, and I think that, too, about myself, but Larry can out do us all in the perfectionist department! Larry made our 10 year old leather couch and chair look brand new again. Then, after all of Larry's work, we later saw a spot on one of the couch cushions, possibly caused by our dog's saliva, and I had to get Larry to come back to our home and repair the spot. He returned without hesitation and fixed the spot. He blended it beautifully -- can't tell it was a "follow-up" repair. Larry's work is simply beautiful! Strongest possible recommendation for Precision Leather Restoration. My wife and I had looked at new 3 piece living room sets but couldn't find any that we liked as much as our 15 year old set. We decided to consider restoring what we had which was in pretty sad shape with skin oil stains, areas that had dried out and begun to crack, etc. Larry came out within 24 hours of our initial contact. We liked what we heard and saw (on his website) so we signed up. He picked up our set on a subsequent Monday and returned it on Friday. Our 24 year-old leather furniture was high quality but showing its wear: broken down cushions, stains, sun damage, and scratches. Larry came to our place, gave us an estimate and went through the details of what he would do to restore it. He arranged for an upholsterer to put in new cushion inserts and then he completely restored the couch and two chairs to their original condition and color. He followed through on the timeline set out and we are thrilled with the results. Larry at Color Glo could not have been more helpful. I had a large white leather L shaped sofa that had seen better days prior to kids and dogs. I have two armchairs and an ottoman designed by the most famous Brazilian designer, Sergio Rodrigues. They are a work of art and I love them! But the leather cushions were in so bad state that I thought I should buy new ones. They are old and faced years of dogs and people using them. We had a very valuable Poltrona Frau leather sofa damaged with nail polish remover. We believed that the sofa was either ruined or would require completely replacing the leather cover--which would have been quite expensive and difficult (requiring an order from Italy).
