He easily could have told me I needed a service visit, and I would've had no way of knowing otherwise since this isn't my area of expertise, but instead he was honest, kind, and incredibly helpful. It turned out something was simply unplugged under my chair. Once I plugged it back in, the headrest worked perfectly. The leg recliner still has some issues, but Steve even suggested that I could just use it as a regular chair instead of pushing for a paid repair. I had some tears in my car's leather seats so I had this company perform the repairs. Fransisco comes to your house, picks up the seat cushions (he takes them out himself) and then returns them and reinstalls them. First the pros: the repairs are like it never even happened (see attached photos). It is convenient that he comes to your house, you don't have to take it to a shop. Fransisco is very reasonable with price and is very easy to work with. Cons: He was late in when he came to pick up the seats. The window was 11-3 and he showed up at 4. Had I known he was running late I would've been able to do some things as opposed to waiting at the house for him. When he did show up he couldn't take one of my seats because his van was too full, so he had to come back the following day anyway. When removing a seat Fransico broke a bracket cover, but was very ok with deducting the replacement cost ($20) from the bill. He also flipped a bolt around with the seat belt, causing the belt to twist and be uncomfortable to use. He fixed all these things, but it would have been nice if they hadn't needed fixing in the first place. Thus the deduction of a star.

When I called JT Auto Interiors and spoke with the owner, Josh…read moreTaylor, he sounded so professional that it was unexpected (shocking) that this experience would end in such a huge disaster. Our Porsche Boxster needed new leather seat covers installed. Josh said all the right things, agreed to our requests, and assured us he had experience re-upholstering many Boxsters. He promised to keep our car garaged to protect from rain, hail, or theft, and have it ready for pickup in one day. We left the car and new leather with Josh on a Friday and planned for it to be finished on Sunday, as he would be out of town on Saturday. Sunday came and went with no word from Josh. I called Monday, no answer and no return call. I called Tuesday and he answered and said things were busy and he was swamped, but would get ours done ASAP. He said he had the seats out of the car, put the new leather on, but it was loose, and he was working on the foam to get it to fit just right. Because he said he had already spent so much time there would be a $200 up-charge. Three more days go by and one more message left with no response. My wife and I decided to just drive out to his shop (30 minutes) to see what was going on. We got there and to my shock, our car hadn't moved from its space in the parking lot, the seats were still in the car, and the leather covers still in the original package in my trunk. The car was left outside, and not even touched for the whole week! Josh wasn't at the shop, so the person there got him on the phone for me. Josh gave more excuses and said he would have it done for me by the next Monday. At that point I had lost complete trust in anything this man said and decided to take the car home. This is where it goes from bad to worse. The battery was dead. I got a jump. Started driving and after about 2 miles I heard clanking noises all over the car and had to stop. Looked around and found the car had water seepage from being left out for several days of torrential rain that occurred during that week my car had been left outside, and not in his garage as he had promised. My electrical system was fried and we had to tow the car home. Porsche has done an assessment and it will cost $1000's of dollars to repair all the electrical and water damage. Not only was my car not finished in time so I could put it on the market to sell, but I now have a huge problem to fix due to Josh Taylor and JT Auto Interiors. He never bothered to call back and follow up after he found I had taken the car home.
